I was expecting you will do this and share it with us like you did with Frida Nov.'21.I cried my eyes out that day when she answered to her questioning 'Frida how do you want to be remembered by the people".I wish she had asked Agnetha to choose a fave song from her or her Abba years same way she did with Frida (who chose 'I let the music speak").But it's Ok since Zoe admitted she also felt teary same way many of us did,after this A interview.
Beyond the mutual emotion in the beautiful interview, of both Zoe and Agnetha, I think the answer is at the end of the interview, when on the radio they put "The winner takes it all"

Agnetha is such a sweetie. So damned humble, doubting whether she 'had it' . She said 'rusty' properly this time 😀. Just love her laugh. I get the feeling she does not really need to try on this song. It is effortless. I mean she treats each song individually and I would love to hear a new song where she can really 'give it some welly' as we say. She has so much voice left which is held back. She is singing this in G Major - I think - which is higher than the other songs on Voyage where where she tended to sing a tone lower than back in the day - C and F Major...I loved Voyage and listen to it as a whole album as if it were part of the other 8. While there are 3 or 4 classics on Voyage I felt that Benny's songs are not as good as they used to be. Melodic lines in NDAI, and KAIOD were a bit pushed - I will be shot down for this. I think they missed Bjorn's melodic input. Just longed for one powerful Agnetha lead song being joined by the sublime Frida in the chorus.
Her english is still so good! Love the single, so different and fresh🩵 I hope for a big celebration on the 6th of April at ABBA Arena with all four of them and deluxe edition of Voyage with the two unreleased songs (ofc a new album would be even more amazing, but it looks like Benny doesn’t want to do it, but who knows?). So much love for her! The new song does sound modern and young. I could do without the auto tune on some of the vocals but it does fit in with the style of A. Be interesting to see how they have reimagined it. Roll on October 13th!
Well,You know what?Even autotuned or not Agnetha still sounds far better that lots of today's heavily autotuned/wired superdivas who are even far younger than her.And yes i agree that the vocals and the song fits perfectly to the style of 'A'.I think if M.Tretow was working with Abba today he would have also taken advantage of technological facilities,anyway.

We should keep in mind, this is not an ABBA song and therefore the sound will be different. I remember years ago when she did her own thing after ABBA I was disappointed, not because of the quality, but because in the back of your mind you still think it should sound "ABBA"-ish. And it doesn't.

I like her singing in that "Kylie Style". The song has a vibe that fits in with the A album. Judging from your previous clips I got the impression Frida is your favourite ABBA😊, but keep listening to the song, it will grow on you.

Sweet interview. The song? I'm not sure. It's pleasant enough and catchy. Maybe it's an age thing and I'm not such a fan of modern production. Over processed vocals can take away the individuality to a point where, if you weren't told beforehand, it wouldn't be clear which noted vocalist was doing the singing. But it's great to hear her again.
Thanks for the video! Honestly, this long-awaited new song by Agnetha was a little disappointing. Of course it's wonderful to hear it again, but even the voice, while still clear and powerful, has clearly been worked on. And the melody, if in "A" it sounded fresh and modern, here it became repetitive and cheesy, trying to sound up-to-date and strictly directed to the dance floors of gay clubs. I hope the new treatment given to the "A" album doesn't spoil the other songs. For me, Agnetha's best and most representative solo work, in English, is still the deeply touching "My Coloring Book".
I'm reserving judgement until I hear new A+ as I have never got into all this rehashing or reimagining stuff. I wasn't expecting ABBA and I do feel this track actually fits well on the A album. Jury out but do not condemn yet.
