A few years ago I did this with If It Wasn’t For The Nights. Now, the same for one of my all time favourite ABBA tracks-The Visitors. I had held off playing it until I was alone at home.

It has a wider soundstage, more details and still that rich full sound of the original. It's really worth flipping the sides after 2 or 3 songs. Great to rediscover this outstanding album.
Obviously hard to tell on YT, but I’d say the main difference I can hear is the instrumental parts are brighter and lusher. I don’t notice a dramatic difference on Frida’s vocal, but you can’t really improve perfection. The mastery of her instrument has reached peak level by this point. How she makes her voice have these bizarre sitar-like intonations is remarkable.
I first heard this in a club when I went to Heaven nightclub in 1983 for gay pride. It was mind blowing. It started off in complete darkness and when it got to chorus the sound was pumped up full volume and the amazing light show all lit up with lasers etc. The boys were dancing with swirling flags. I was shaking at how amazing the experience was as they were obviously my favourite band :)
Hi Diego, I know that you are a ABBA fan since a very long time like I, but to be honest, it´s the fault of Benny & Björn not to release their records in a remastered hi-res audio format, mastered from the original multitracks. The original tapes are for sure in a good condition. But selling fans the vintage recordings in all kinda media formats and not in hi-res audio, is a shame.Have yourself a merry Christmas 🍀
The turntable is a Pioneer DJ PLX500. Headphones I passed on, I used my ears close to the speakers, naughty but preferred the sound to be ambient rather than fed right into my brain.b
As far as l'm concered i think that technically this can't be done on Cd format but only in vynil.But maybe i'm wrong.And someone also correct me plz but does also Dolby atmos analysis work only on CD respectively and not on vynil?

In the end it is all about the music..that 's what remains and gives us goosebumps. I was so happy too when I put the needle on this new remaster.
Fabulous isnt it? Now go listen to Like and Angel... its sublime. I cried!

They can bring it out on bluy ray or high resolution format Vinyl is not better, it is just a hype with cracks lol It is al about the mastering

@@christianoazzuro6711 CD actually has a greater dynamic range than vinyl, so a well-mastered and pressed cd should sound better.
