$200 Luxury Eco Resort in Nepal đłđ”

- On the outskirts of Pokhara, I found the best hotel of my trip to Nepal so far.
My previous hotel stay at Tiger Mountain had included free transport to and from the lakeside area. So after being driven back to that part of the city, I searched for a taxi to take me to my next hotel, 'The Pavilions Himalayas The Farm.'
I approached a group of taxi driver, who claimed to know where my hotel was, but I wasn't convinced by their body language. Sure enough, we drove for a bit and then I had to phone the hotel for them to give the driver directions.
It was way much farther than the driver thought it was, and the later part of the journey required slow driving on a very bump road, so I offered to pay more than we had originally agreed.
If you visit Nepal during the summer be prepared for downpours. I wasn't. Thankfully, at the entrance to the resort I was greeted by a member of staff who had an umbrella for me.
I earned myself some good karma by spinning the Buddhist wheels as I entered the eco resort.
I was immediately impressed by the hotel. The swimming pool was a very decent size, with incredible views of the countryside. I was even more impressed when I checked into my room, which was actually a detached duplex villa.
Everything about this chalet was perfect. It was spacious, beautiful and luxurious. It even had decent internet, which wasn't something I was expecting, given the rural location.
So many hotels I've stayed in have either been very fancy-looking but not very practical, or vise vera. But this hotel ticked both those boxes. It looked incredibly elegant but was also very practical and comfortable.
After getting settled in I went for a bit of an explore around the local village, bought some snacks and drinks from the little shops that people operate out of their homes, then got back to the resort just as the sun was coming out to enjoy a nice swim in their luxurious pool.
I booked my hotel through an agent as it was the same price as booking direct but included a free dinner on the first night. So I enjoyed a delicious mushroom salad and Nepali thali beside the pool, made with many ingredients grown in the resort.
I've stayed in some nice hotels in Pokhara so far, but this has definitely been my favourite. I would have booked for longer than just 3 days if I knew how much I'd enjoy staying there.

Hi

Hello
Come to India again
Bang dalem philip kapan ke Indonesia lagi?
The guy named "Biswas", who came for the room tour, is a true gentleman and very soft spoken. I have been to Nepal many times, you can expect similar behaviour from any Nepali. This country is an example of teaching how HUMAN should behave.
Thank you for you amazing complement
The Nepalese seem so friendly and welcoming! One of my friends is a Nepali. đ
I agree, was very calming to listen to
I don't think I have ever exclaimed "wow" looking at a hotel on CZcams before but this place is stunning. And I love how good the staff were, not trying too hard but saying all the things that matter.
Dale has said namaste more times in Nepal itself than I have in my entire life! Says a lot about how good he behaves with the locals.
Hi Dale, just wanted to let you know how to better enjoy the Nepali thali. Basically what youâd want to do is just coat the rice with smth gravy, like the meat gravy or daal but not everything at once. Basically we want to taste individual elements in the plate with the rice. The dishes on the plate are so that u can have different flavours in every bite. Non gravy items like the lentils or fried potatoes are not usually mixed with rice but enjoyed while u r chewing the rice taken in bites, if that makes sense. If the flavours become monotonous thatâs when the pickels or chatnis come in. Nepali thalis are âall u can eatâ, meaning u can ask for the items that u like the most as many times. People usually ask for 2,3 servings of rice. Its smth that can keep you full for hours. Hope u try a more relaxed way of eating a thali nxt time đ. As they say, âDaal Bhat Power 24 hourâđđŒ
This is what I wanted to tell @ Dale from last 2/3 vlog. Nicely said.
@@sangampantha8641 to each their own. i ve been doing what dale does for literally all my life.
@@GreenTeaGamin exactly. The only thing I don't really like is how he mixes every bit of everything. I usually take a bit of everything, mix and have it and repeat but he's enjoying the way he's eating and no one should have a problem with it.
@@jiwanlama2780 As Sri Lankans, all we do is mix everything up with rice :D

Dale, i think u should visit village of Nepal like ghandruk, sikles, Ghale gaun, etc. The place where u visit doesn`t feel like organic Nepal. The organic taste of cusine, culture, language, people, trekking, mountain, hills ,houses etc makes u next level & u can see real Nepal. Anyway Enjoy ur travel & thanks for exploring Nepal.
Being a nepalese I didn't get bored watching your long video, I can imagine how much you are enjoying in Nepal
You are promoting the tourism of Nepal . Thanks for visiting Nepal Dale.

1:02:30 did anyone noticed the cute waiter's expression, he got me đ€Łđ€Ł. He was like.. OH MY GOD, I should have told him how to eat Nepali Thali đ€Łđ€Ł...
Nice video as a whole. Enjoyed watching. đ Keep promoting Nepal đłđ”. Thank you ! đ
Xactly...his smile tells it all oh god.. dale.. I died ..đ !
I notice that too.
Even for me who never eat thali style before but we have something similar here in Indonesia called "hidang/talam/tapsi" style of serving, you eat by adding a bit of everything you want to rice, little by little. And the only thing you mix with the rice is the gravy dishes, other dry and vegies you just put it on top or a the side of the rice. Something like that.
All the peoole are enjoying the vlog but I'm impressed by the gate keeper man at 45:35 when he bowed and did namaste with full respect towards our guest....that's the pure respect which I loved alot â„ïžđłđ”

Hi
This place looks incredible! Nepal is definitely on my list of places to visit now.
I honestly love how friendly the locals are. So nice and loving.
What an absolute amazing resort I love the environmental sustainability every thing is grown on site for the restaurant , there is solar energy and they make all of the shampoos and lotions themselves with the herbs they grow . What a beautiful room and so reasonably priced and gorgeously presented I would love to stay their for a peaceful as week or two .â„ïžđ
Your Nepal trip seems to be the best one so far for me!â„
Amazing! I like how eco friendly the resortâs are. They can make everything on their own in a very organic way. It feels very peaceful staying in there
What an immaculate place hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city life into an awesome ecological heaven.... Dale you never cease to amaze us.... ! Simply stupendous!

Like it iss sooo extraordinary to see foreign people enjoying in our country with so much excitement. Dale's behaviour is beyond words.Huge respect for you dale.â€
That place is a paradise. The cottages and all. If I was rich and retired I'd move there and build my own rustic shack and have a cow for milking and animals as pets. The place is so peaceful and quiet, just the sound of the birds and insects and animals. My soul craves to live in a place like that and be self sufficient.....far from the madding crowds.
You don't need to be rich to make your home here but some time and desire to come here and get your next home. We will be welcoming you in Nepal, just make your mind and start exploring
You can come n visit it's not expensive
@Royal T I would if I could, but now I'm crippled with arthritis and unable to walk. I'm in wheelchair and live alone just taking care of myself as best as I can.

Ilam locale is one of 14 areas of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. It is a Hill district. An energetic stroll in a tea garden, cookout in the tranquil setting and touring stops, short climbs along delicate slopes, or investigate the close-by woods - appreciate this and more in the greenery of Ilam.
Nepal is a country that is quite a popular holiday destination for people from different parts of the world. Nepal is one of the seven countries that make up the great Himalayan region.
its 8
@@umeshkhatiwada7076 Yes Nepal has 8 high Mountains out of 10 high mountains. But he meant that Nepal belongs to those seven countries which has Himalayan region
How far is this place from where Mt Everest is located?
@@twiggy6591 Mount Everest is a peak in the Himalaya mountain range. It is located between Nepal and Tibet, an autonomous region of China. At 8,849 meters (29,032 feet), it is considered the tallest point on Earth. In the nineteenth century, the mountain was named after George Everest, a former Surveyor General of India. The Tibetan name is Chomolungma, which means âMother Goddess of the World.â The Nepali name is Sagarmatha, which has various meanings.

Itâs great you chose an Eco Resort so we get to check out how itâs run from the comfort of our homes. Seems like an independent establishment too, not international big chain resort so good for small businesses.
On your walk, you met with a friendly dog and asked if it was their dog, the owner far-away replied âhamroâ and you thought it was the dogâs name. I laughed so much. Hamro means âoursâ which is Sanskrit derivative of Hamara in Hindi.
Always enjoy watching you dig into traditional local dinners, make me wish I was tucking into the same food, damn.
Itâs entertaining how youâre always on the hunt for Coke Zero, my go to drink treats too but in UK itâs way cheaper to buy Supermarket own brand and youâre wrong to assume theyâre inferior in taste, most of them are just as good actually.
