I have no idea why I can’t stop watching your videos. I’m an N scale model railroader, not a restorer but it’s just so amazing to see the transformation.
Thanks a lot Mark. I love N scale ! I had a railway when I was younger :)
The end made me hungry. Nice work.
Nice restoration and delicious too!!
The red was a nice color choice!
My grandma had one like that. Since you can also make wonderful breadcrumbs with.
We had one too. But I never knew it was for shredding cheese, not making bread crumbs lol
Hi, Wow another amazing restoration, the end result is a Cheese Grater that looks better than when it was new. Cheers, Paul
In Germany, where this maschine was build, it was normaly used for potatoes to make a kind of potatoes balls or flat potatoe Pancakes. I use one at home, my grandmother had just done IT.
I like things from Alexanderwerk 😍 good job mate
Haha yep I know ;) Thanks a lot mate 🙌
I'm hungry now 😄 Beautiful work as always.
😃 Thank you Pauline
Came for the restoration - Stayed for the food! Nice work!
Thanks a lot Dave 👍🏻
Brilliant job 👍 polished up beautifully. Very cool project, well done.
Mmmm. Raclette. Aligot. Gougere. Fondue. Not to mention the triple creams. Oh, the choices! Thanks Mr. Fabrik.👌
😛🤩 Thank you 🙌
BEAUTIFUL 😉😉😉
Nice. That was so relaxing, I fell asleep watching... Twice. 🙂
I love it that you actually get to see how it works at the very end
You can also use it to rasp potatoes and make cookies, potato rasp, flour and salt.. 😋 well done ❤️
Good idea !! 😃👍🏻
Excellent restoration! Back in the day, it took some real effort to cut the cheese.
Que puis je dire de plus? Vos (tes) fans ont deja tout dit... Top of the list, brilliant work etc.
Merci beaucoup Isabelle 😌🙏
Grate job😉

So I was made in the States about 1950 and at least look better then how this restoration began. Now only if I could get restored so well. Good job thanks for sharing

Bon app!
And the restoration was superbe also!
Ian, Lorraine
Oh merci !! 🧀
Great that was really good to watch, you couldn’t tell what it was when fist showed it another terrific restoration you are very talented to see what the piece looks like after you have finished it in your head that is a difficult thing to master. It is always great to see you and the restoration thanks for showing the steps you go through to end up looking like they do. Stay safe my friend and I look forward to the next instalment John
Many thanks John, working on a real live steam locomotive... ;)

@@TheFabrik You're very welcome
Bonjour The Fabrik,
Very great work. Thanks!
Très belle restauration. Magnifique couleur finale.
Fabulous job as always 👏
This is also used for walnuts. Grate them, mix the result with sugar, coat some pasta with it and bingo, easy and cheap dessert
Oh great ! I shall try that ;) thanks 😃👍🏻
@@TheFabrik this is a staple dessert in parts of Transylvania, at the table you would get 3 bowls, one with pasta, one with sugar, one with grated walnuts typically made with this contraption, and everyone would make his own ‘walnuts pasta’ by mixing as much as they want from each bowl
Incredible work! I am always impressed with your restorations. Everyone of them you have done looks brand new. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks a lot John 😌👍🏻
Woa. Amazing good job bro 🥰
Très très beau travail de restoration. De belles images, travail soucieux, propre....félicitation.👍🏻

We have exactly the same grater in our kitchen . It is in the family for decades, still in use and unrestored!
Oh wow I hope that one will last for decades too !!

I'm amused that the gloves were still worn during the cooking portion. Always wear your PPE folks! :D
😁👍🏻 I don’t wear those sinister gloves anymore
Nathalie France Normandie 🇫🇷👋

Damn you are amazing.
This guy is restoring a 1950s cheese grater to add a french cheese to his ravioli.
Meanwhile im laying in bed watching CZcams while eating McDonalds.
Haha I also do that sometimes :)
It looks great and a wonderful job restoring it!!
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Thank you !! 😌🙌
@@TheFabrik You're welcome!!
Good job, my friend!! 🔝🔝😁
Thank you ! 🙌
Perfeito 👏
My German Grandmothr used this toshave blanched almonds for the family cooky re ipe.

👌👌👌
ur gonna have a giant pasta
Very interesting. Sorry, my translater dosnt know Trommelreibe und Kartoffelpuffer, but it ist better to use this, then plastic maschines.
your plating seems a bit aggressive. When plating, you're looking for metal deposition with minimum bubbles. Bubbling means hydrogen on the anode which will make the plating less resistant. Try to lower the voltage next time
Yep you’re right. Too high voltage with bubbles means black nickel 😒 Thanks for the tip 😉
I have one of those, mine it's made from cast-iron in România
Amazing...I just wanna know
WHERE THE HELL DO U GET THIS STUFF!!!!
On eBay, at some flea markets... here and there
Nice work but why red? Original color was cream white.
Is there anybody that might be able to help me I know nothing about sandblasters but I really like the concept I know that you sandy was using glass beads to do this do you reuse the glass beads in the sand over and over again or do you throw it away once it has all the paint particles in it that it's sandblasting off just curious what happens with the sand after one user do you keep reusing it or what do you do with the old saying that has all the particles in it just teaching me something that I don't know the only stupid question is the one you don't ask I was wondering if somebody could teach me a little something thank you very much
Thanks a lot for watching and also commenting ! 🙌 The glass beads can be reused several times ! I replace them every year
