Way more particularly due to the changing weather conditions, the fact that he had already been hit playing on his mind and also the damage on the car and the broken radio! Sebastian's greatest drive by a mile in my view.

I don’t know about 2016, but some nascar drivers called starting years of v6 is just two car or formula Mercedes championship. And they made huge jokes about ham and Roseberg, they advices other f1 drivers to seat and watch Mercedes race in their paddock.
Sebastian could've taken the championship away from Rosberg and gifted to Lewis as he was on his tail within a second when comparing to Lewis' gap with Rosberg.
Anyway the German nationality got one champion!!
The moment when Michael waved Seb through on lap 64 was one of the most beautifull moments I've ever seen in F1 racing.
Yeah, Michael really like Seb, and Seb always see Michael as his idol, he is one of the reasons why Seb want to go to Ferrari

Many may disagree, but this... To me... Is the best championship defining drive from a driver ever. Absolutely everything went wrong and he STILL fought through the field and won the world title. Incredible

Guy recovered from a race-ruining collision at the start which sent him into last, endured through rain, had a potential championship-ruining pit stop, and came home in P6 to win the title. Absolute legend.

During years from 2010-2013 he drove like a dream. No one could overtake like him and he bounced back multiple times from dire straits. With Kimi, Alonso, Lewis, Nico, etc. at full powers he had great rivals. People don't forget that in a tractor of a Ferrari he has so close beating lewis in a Mercedes.
Truly a legend in F1 no matter what he achieves by the end of his career.

Ferrari was only equal in the first races of 2018. Then they stopped developing the car and Mercedes became superior again of course. Seb did his best but it wasn't meant to be😭😭

The radio messages to seb were great, always feeding him the perfect information and never sounding out of control even if they were. Seb at his best here under the worse pressure ever to win a championship In a badly damaged car. 2012- incredible season.
external damage is different from the ferrari's problem with the internal functions,can't drive like this if your car could just go bottoms up at anytime with no chance of recovery.
one of the greatest drives by a driver in f1 history for sure. Simply amazing how he kept his head cool under those circumstances and the huge pressure. What a drive!

@@dougjudy5352 no he didnt go under pressure at the start, he was squeezed by webber on the wall so he had a slow exit out of turn 1 which made the other cars overtake him and then got hit
@@dougjudy5352 Hamilton the same imo. Look at his brazil grand prix in 2007. If you put russell or max alongside him in the other Mercedes, you'd definitely see it. Bottas (or even Rosberg I reckon also) didn't push him hard enough

I think this is Vettel’s greatest ever performance in any car.

@@drybones7475 Way beyond either of them. 2018 the Mercedes was only rivaled by Ferrari while all other cars were literally backmakers in comparison. Button in 2011 was lucky with all the safety cars and red flags. He made a lot of mistakes in that race... But yes, his final 20 or so laps were insane. Vettel was leading all day with no mistakes and went wide in the last lap.
This was also the record of overtakes done by a car/driver in F1 history.

This was really well done. Really loved the music, the editing, the subtle sound effects, the team radio, the moment with Schumacher and his celebration. As someone who only recently really got into F1, this was a really nice watch. And as much as I never truly saw him at his best, I really miss Vettel in a competitive car.

Ralf's not competing so it doesn't matter which you use in this case.
I think your initials can change if someone with the same initials has gone for 3-4 years. Ralf was gone for a long time then so Schumacher was assigned SCH. Same thing goes for Verstappen. He was VES till at least 2018 I think. He only got VER now cause of Vergne (despite Vergne leaving F1 in 2015).

What most interests me in this video is the sound affect that comes when Vettel takes an overtake.
I remember thinking at the time he wasnt going to make it to the end, or his car wouldnt be 100% cause it looked like the rear end damage had destroyed the exhaust.

I believe this is one of the greatest comeback drives of all time it’s right up there with the likes of Tazio Nuvolari in Germany 🇩🇪 35, Juan Manuel Fangio in Germany 🇩🇪 57, Jim Clark in Italy 🇮🇹 67 and Michael Schumacher in Spain 🇪🇸 96
Vettel was fully deserving of all 4 of his world titles but I believe 2012 along with 2010 where the most special because he truly had to fight for them and earned them by driving his heart out through out the season never giving even when it seemed the title was out of reach
Hopefully Seb can increase his World Championship tally to at lest 6 in the future
