The Creekwerx crew is pumped up and ready to hit more chutes after a big day in Boulder yesterday.
The chute climbers are feeling good, and the rest of the group is bringing even more stoke to the crew. Testosterone is flying, and everyone’s confidence is at an all time high.
Snow conditions are good. There is fresh snow everywhere and very few tracks. The weather is warm and sunny. The blue sky fades as the clouds roll in.
We decide to head over and take a look at the superchute from across the valley. We then convince Tyson to take a look at it from the bottom. He’s feeling good, but nervous. He takes a test pull into the mouth of the chute, it feels good and he has lots of speed. We try to calm him down, and remind him there is enough snow that if he doesn’t make it, his custom built tube chassis Nypro has a chance at survival.
Tyson takes off and heads up the hill…

It’s a crazy not to have a drone filming that

We didn’t even have a way to mount a GoPro to his helmet which is too bad, and while he was thinking of climbing it when we rolled into turtle that day, I don’t think he truly thought he would do it.

My first thoughts as well...pretty cheap in comparison to those sleds 🤔

@@jimeverden2244 left the drone at the other chutes we were climbing with the boy who were building jumps. Only went over to take a look and he decided to pull it. 😂 I’m sure you know how it goes, the best things happen when they’re unplanned.

@@TeamCreekwerx174 yeah, I hear ya. I watched most of it with Moskoka Freerider today. A lot of horse power flying up those chutes...the one where buddy literally launched up hill would have been awesome with a drone as well.

As much as I want to see diffrent camera angles, I respect the purity it's him the sled and the mountain, the emotions he went through at the top will be forever in his heart and not seen by anyone else.

I believe local Swenson climbed it in the day with a tricked out Nytro. It had a turboed 4 cyl Apex motor putting out about 350hp & a 174” or 184” track. He may have climbed it multiple times.

Only wish there was more cameras. One on top, a drone, and a GoPro mounted. Then you could really get an idea how crazy that chute is. Regardless, that was damn impressive.

I don't believe that has only been ridden by 4guys ever. ..Revi has been a snowmobile meca for 50 years. ..regardless of older tech , good riders, good sleds, and good snow days have been happening for decades. ..that chute had probably been run several hundred times.
