Creekwerx Big Iron Shootout 2023 Part II Revelstoke British Columbia
Day 2 of the event! We had far less people this day, but boy was it fun. A few of these chutes are not as well known as some from the previous day.
While climbing the sister chutes we had a video feed lag on the drone causing the crash into the wind blown snow at the top. The gimbal packed full of snow, we were able to blow the snow out and luckily the gimbal wasn't damaged.
Court climbs the snatch chute which is a very intimidating line.
This snow in this chute angles steeply towards to rock wall at the bottom. After you make the corner you better pull out the top of it, or it could mean bad news for your sled.
Sheldon Kelly cuts into the rainmaker chute about halfway up and climbs through the gnarly looking rock walls and out the top.
Tyson Reeves climbs the superchute (3300 verticals feet) in
1:11 Tyson has had an interesting thing going on with that timing for a while now. It was creepy to put this together knowing that Sheldon called out the time of 1:11 while the exact video length Brett took on his iPhone at the top being stopped at 1:11 Unfortunately there was no drone footage of the superchute because it was unplanned.
Thanks to everyone for a great weekend. We will see you next time!

It’s March 18, 2023 The Creekwerx crew is pumped up and ready to hit more chutes after a big day in Boulder yesterday. The chute climbers are feeling good, and the rest of the group is bringing even more stoke to the crew. Testosterone is flying, and everyone’s confidence is at an all time high. Snow conditions are good. There is fresh snow everywhere and very few tracks. The weather is warm an...

What a deep weekend of climbing it was! Too deep even for the high horsepower long tracks to make it up the big chutes.

Stay tuned for our season edit coming soon. With that said, what a crazy season this one has been! Our trip to Revelstoke in December was awesome, but it was socked in almost the entire time. After that it was nearly impossible to get all the boys together on the same weekend. Some of them dealing with family issues, others busy at work, then as you all know the Covid-19 outbreak (let’s not get...

This was an awesome weekend. We had so much footage we had to cut a lot out in fear of it being too long! We had a blast playing in Turtle at the Sister Chutes. The weather cleared up and we were able to do some wicked climbing. As it turns out, Brent still can’t seem to get over the Monster chute.

What a brutal and cold weekend climbing chutes. Ryan and Court rolled their sleds out of the Campout Chute and continued to ride on the following day. Court’s sled looked worse than it was, he lost a set of gauges and broke his throttle. He limped it out and got it repaired that evening. Kyle was riding Court’s boosted XM and Court’s boosted Nytro. They traded back and forth all weekend. For th...

Chute climbing with the Creekwerx crew
Bad ass
Love the chute climbing videos!
I wanna drive over from AK to do a shootout with my sled this year.
Epic climb to beautiful ride in heaven
How does this not have millions of views?
Awesome edit Court so cool watching you guys in person
Glad you could come out. We’re gonna have to come down to your neck of the woods and do some chute climbing one day!
Fucking never get tired of watching you boys wicked ❤
Thanks a bunch!
Great video guys.
Thank you!
That 4 stroke turbo 😵
They’re insane. Love the sound of those 4 strokes.
Some sweet pulls mike and David
Love seeing the 4 stroke Yamaha’s! Finally get to see Brett Allen! Sweet
They’re the coolest sounding machines!
@@TeamCreekwerx174 Yes and the more power you give them the better they sound. Love your guys content.
Nice touch with the drone followed by the gopro. I can only imagine the feeling of finishing a climb.
Thank you!
Why no turbo hill?
Great edits latley! good job Court! #CreekWerx
Thanks a bunch my friend!
Great job guys.!!!!!! are you guys gunna plan each year around the same time?
You guys kick ass well done !!!
Those big ol' 4 stroke mods make short work of those chutes. 💪 Most of those turbo 2 strokes were no slouches either.
We need some sled spotlight spots put together…that’s half the fun of the old vids, the sled rundowns….gotta show off this art!
That’s a great idea!
I believe local Swenson climbed it in the day with a tricked out Nytro. It had a turboed 4 cyl Apex motor putting out about 350hp & a 174” or 184” track. He may have climbed it multiple times.
"Hey, you can't park there" has been used plenty whenever somebody had a wreck...but it seems to fit better with climbing trees and sled fails. Great vid, thx guys.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 🤘
@@TeamCreekwerx174 thx for noticing...subbed!
I don't believe that has only been ridden by 4guys ever. ..Revi has been a snowmobile meca for 50 years. ..regardless of older tech , good riders, good sleds, and good snow days have been happening for decades. ..that chute had probably been run several hundred times.
This chute is MASSIVE. Most sleds wouldn’t even touch it.
Sick footage and production quality!!!!
Thanks Mike! Much appreciated. Hope to see you again soon!
Awesomeness to the max
Glad you enjoyed it!
You fellers are nuts! Awesome to watch...top gun theme song is fitting 👍
The best part about being with a group of people like this, is watching it all in person. Its just a bunch of guys getting together for a good time.
That Yami still never make it to the top just right there😂🤣
Holy hell you Canadians are just a little or alot Crazy . I'll probably watch this video 20 times over the next year .
The air is thinner up here near the top of the earth, it makes us run a bit nutty. 👊
Best Revy footage yet!
Thank you sir! Much appreciated.
So sick! Great video!
Thanks so much!
Need ozone commentating killing it , haywire outfit ,haywire crew ,watch out you’ll be haywire too
Haha! We have a few in the group 😂
She's fri night and the boys are lookin to party!!! Biso at the bolder dome!!!!
Awesome video need more. Thanks for posting
More to come!
Here from muskoka free rider you guys are fucking nutz keep it up unreal climbs!!
Crazy that the bone stock turbo 2 strokes are climbing this chute now. Sleds sure have advanced these last bunch of years!
And everyone thinks they need one of these sleds for every day riding. Truthfully we’ve talked about wishing to be able to turn them up or down depending on the day and the snow conditions.
Awesome video as usual
Thank you @northernfilmz! More to come.
Last of the highmark boys thanks creekwerx
And we ain’t f***ing leaving!
@@TeamCreekwerx174 you guys rock keep the dream alive💪💪
Where the hell is Brett Allen? I want to see some more Yamaha power
I think he was too nervous to climb! 😅
@@TeamCreekwerx174 Guess he better find his balls 😂 cause I’ve seen how that sled runs and no doubt it would make those climbs.
Legend status!
Epic pulls, great video production boys!
Appreciate it!
Great video!!! The Big Iron Shootout lives again! Thank you so much.
Absolutely, our pleasure!
that was insane, gotta see the go pro footage
Sick run brother! 🤙👍👍
Man I want the footage from the top!! What a pull
Made that pull look easy. Bravo. Tons of room for error, only intuition needed, not much thinking involved! 🙌
What a pull!!! That sled sounded like it was barely working going up that chute.👊🤙
🥱
Next time if you need a drone get ahold of me. Would have been glad to come out and film this
Props.
Very Sweet Climb. Can you tell us More on His Shed? It sounded like not Stock. Wow not much room for error.👍🏻🤟🏻
His sled is a custom built tube chassis with a turbo Yamaha Nytro motor in it, and Polaris Pro plastics.
Good Job to CreekWerx crew!
Only wish there was more cameras. One on top, a drone, and a GoPro mounted. Then you could really get an idea how crazy that chute is. Regardless, that was damn impressive.
It’s a crazy not to have a drone filming that
We didn’t even have a way to mount a GoPro to his helmet which is too bad, and while he was thinking of climbing it when we rolled into turtle that day, I don’t think he truly thought he would do it.
My first thoughts as well...pretty cheap in comparison to those sleds 🤔
@@jimeverden2244 left the drone at the other chutes we were climbing with the boy who were building jumps. Only went over to take a look and he decided to pull it. 😂 I’m sure you know how it goes, the best things happen when they’re unplanned.
@@TeamCreekwerx174 yeah, I hear ya. I watched most of it with Moskoka Freerider today. A lot of horse power flying up those chutes...the one where buddy literally launched up hill would have been awesome with a drone as well.
As much as I want to see diffrent camera angles, I respect the purity it's him the sled and the mountain, the emotions he went through at the top will be forever in his heart and not seen by anyone else.
