  • Testing 2nd gen Titan off road. Haven’t had to use the lockers yet. ‪@nissanusa‬ has done a very good job with traction control. However there is no option to turn it off completely. I’m pretty sure they can come up with an update that can allow you to do that and have the camera on on 4Lo right now it’s limited to 5mph.

    I’ve had trucks of different makes throughout my life. My last was a Silverado High Country which was lemon lawed. My friend owns a Nissan Dealership and sold me on my 2021 Pro 4X which was new and fully loaded when I bought it. Hands down the best truck I have ever owned. I’ve taken this everywhere and absolutely no issues.

    Just upgraded from a Tacoma 2018 Offroad to a Nissan Titan Pro-4x 2021, mostly for a towing need and hated to lose my off-road'ing capabilities of my Taco, but looking at this video I have hope now, thanks for sharing...!!!!

      Oh trust me this is no less then a taco. You are going to love this truck. The biggest downside is no aftermarket support yet. It can do a lot more then I expected it to do. Be sure the post videos.

      Thanks. Just trying to let everyone know that there is another option out there besides Toyota and maybe get some aftermarket support. No one wants ti make any accessories armor for Titan because they think there’s no off road market for it. So I’m hoping other Titan owns will make videos too and post it.

    Are you in Reno? That looks like a trail I was in in cold springs. I’m looking at the Titan over the tundra today. How do you like it? Reliable? Comfortable?

    WOW, impressive for showroom stock.. I was watching someone on youtube and he got the best climbing with TC off and in 4L, with the TC off he got more engine speed. I have a 2023 RAM 1500 classic quad cab Warlock with the 3.6 thats in the body shop due to being rearended so i have a 2023 Frontier 2 WD SV, that little 3.8 has more power than my 3.6. I have been looking at a few 2024's Titans but i hate to take a huge loss on trading it in even though i got about 9 grand off list. I see most Pro-4X are high 50's and maybe mid 50's with discounts. My RAM was paid for in 3 months so 30 grand trade is a good downpayment, looking for 0% interest too??

    Nice titan off roading, what’s the max size tire on the stock, is the stock tire 31’? I really want to get a pro4x, do you think it’ll fit 33’ without lifting?

    • @D33WAN4
      @D33WAN4  Před rokem +1

      Thanks. 33 will fit. Mine came with 33” tire. I have little over 34” tires now and it does rub the wheel well at full lock on flex without mud flaps.

    How have you liked the truck so far? I think Nissan did a great job with the redesign, it’s been reliable for you so far the transmission?

    • @D33WAN4
      @D33WAN4  Před rokem +1

      I love it. It’s been amazing. This truck just keeps surprising me every time. The only thing is that I think Nissan should done a better job with the approach angle. I seem to be putting that skid plate to work.

    What's your opinion on Nissan discontinuing the Titan after Summer 2024? I want to get a 2021 Pro-4X or newer but am curious if it'd be worth it if they're moving onto electric trucks.

    • @D33WAN4
      @D33WAN4  Před 10 měsíci

      I don’t like it but good thing is most of the parts are compatible with 1st gen. For me I don’t see me in an electric vehicle anytime soon unless they start making self charging. Hybrid maybe. As far out as I like the ability to fill up and go. Plus I will try to hold on to this as this is one of the last v8s

    I removed the steps and had some sliders made which allow for stepping welded on to the frame. Gives another few inches of clearance.
    Plus lifted 3”

    Is this a good used truck to buy if it has almost 100k miles?

    • @D33WAN4
      @D33WAN4  Před rokem +1

      I couldn’t answer that. But maybe someone here can. I still see a lot of 04 and 05 on the road. They must be over 100k but can’t say. I know on the 1st gen some people didn’t like the rear differential.

    • @D33WAN4

      It’s has 2” icon suspension from Nissan. The bilstein it came with was very rough and limited travel. These ride so much better.

      it took about 2weeks. And installed it myself which I don’t recommend if you never worked on cars. Driver side control arm was a pain. Part number is listed on there if you wanted to order from dealer. It rides way better then stock. This is how the pro4x should have came or even with fox.
