  • This is the video about my first day at the yoga school in Rishikesh, India.
On the first day, we only had an opening ceremony and orientation, where we learned about our daily schedule and the things to expect during the next 28 days of yoga teacher training.
We had a lot of free time on the first day, so I also went to explore Rishikesh together with other people in my group.

@4:18, it is Neti pot. There are 2 types. One us cleansing through water (from one nose through other, called as Jal neti) and advanced form (Sutra neti) is the thread like option. 'Jal' means water 🙂

Since you mentioned chef is ready to make anything, try 'Masala Dosa'. It is a South India tiffen item (Breakfast/Dinner), pure vegetarian dish. It is light weight, good on digestion and one of the most loved dishes in India 🙂

@@springtomymind4003 oh, nice to hear 🙂. Let me then give you some more, suggestions from South Indian dishes:
      1. Poori masala ( hot and soft fluffy bread accompanied with mashed potatoes & onions)
      2. Onion Podi Oothappam ( thicker form of dosa, size of a small plate; topped with onions and spice)
      3. Ghee dosa ( Dosa in cone shape, roasted with cooked butter)
      4. Idli & Medu vada
      5. Sambar idli ( Idli soaked in hot sambar, with a teaspoon of ghee)
You should try these at Vegetarian restaurants, if possible at authentic South India restaurants at Rishikesh 🙂
