I had never made chili before (I’m Mexican) but I was blown away it was the best chili I’ve ever tasted. I’m definitely making this. My son loves beans and rice but I want him to eat more beans for the fiber. He loves meat so mixing the two is best of both worlds. He’d tear that up

Wow I’ve just learned something although I’ve never added any flour😂and by all means my granny taught me how to wash that long grain rice til clear! Looks absolutely great!!!! ❤🎉💯⭐️
I am SOOOOOO glad you mentioned the flour. I seen someone doin that and almost lost my mind! lol. I prefer not to use the turkey neck or hamhock, but i use 6 cups of chicken stock and 1 pack of george washington seasoning if i have them.
Let me tell you….I was looking for a red bean and rice recipe and I happened to stumble across yours. I liked what I saw and I shared the video with a friend and we both agreed this guy can cook. So I made them today. I didn’t use red beans. I used black beans instead since that is what I had on hand. I did everything just as you instructed in your video except for using the stock off the boiled necks in the beans. Man! These are the best I’ve ever eaten. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe and just how you do it. This is certainly a keeper and a remake for me in the future. Again, thanks. BTW, I am now a subscriber.
This is so similar to how I make mine! I use homemade chicken stock and the meat from 2-3 smoked turkey drums and beef sausage but I do my veggies EXACTLY the same!

I had the sleeve done and I went back to eating regular foods again after 3 months. I really didn’t follow rules lol it’s been almost 7yrs now and I still can’t hold much. Still small portions and still get full after a few bites.

Adding a rue to thicken beans is an old school southern way to thicken beans. There are many way to cook foods. So to each their own notion.
