Thank you! Just what I was looking for!
Thank you!!! đ„°
@@allenreed3466 sorry it's kind of late. This was probably 7-10 servings I fed my family of 4 but we're fatties. Everybody probably had 2 servings
OK, I'm a fan! I'm 70 years old and it just goes to show, you can always learn something new.
Hi
,đđđ
Please list your recipe in the âabout sectionâ of your cooking videos! Makes it so much easier to compile a shopping list and make at home
I had to watch the video while shopping lol
Watch the video at home and write it down as you watch. You want the dude to come over and cook it for ya lazy ass too?
@@imuhawshool717 ugh.. come on now.... many people ask people to list their recipes.. it is a cooking channel after all.
@@imuhawshool717 dang why u so angry???
@@boom-shocka-la3393 not angry, just joking.
Ty, I followed this recipe to the letter. You have a lot of friends in Dublin, Ireland raising a glass to you tonight!
I love chili and this is the best recipe so far. Thank you!
Awesome!!!
I made this yesterday. No short cuts... BABBBBBBBBBY GOOD GAWD... everyone loved it
Italian sausage.... never thought to use that in my chili. I canât wait to make this and your knife skills simply amaze me. What???? Hersheyâs cocoa powderđł yes with the crushed red peppers đđ»đđ» Thank you and I canât wait to try...
I made this almost exact recipe for my Christmas party, minus the dark beer because I couldnât get it in time so I substituted with beef broth for a little more liquid, everyone tore it up itâs about gone! Thank you
Youâre very good at reading the viewers thoughts as you go along. You answer the question as Iâm asking it in my head. Canât wait to make this one, mate, thanks!
This is the first time I've watched, tried and can honestly review a recipe from CZcams. The best chili I've ever had/made! I went to town on this. Congrats to you SimplyFoodByTy!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I made it last night almost to a T and it is EXCELLENT! Rich, flavorful, and super versatile. Planning on making chili cheese fries and chili dogs with the leftovers! Iâm about to be chiliâs out and Iâm not even mad about it!
I have made this chili about 8 times, it is one of my favorite go-to recipes. I modified it with brown sugar (1tbsp), 2 packs primio hot italian sausage, 2lbs beef, a good 6-8 shakes of chipotle tobasco, which is a strong flavor but it's my (formerly) secret ingredient in all my mexican recipes. Thank you TY, love it.
Hi how did it turn out with the brown sugarâŠđđđthx
Hi Tobias, I just wanna tell you THANK YOU SO MUCH for this amazing recipe. I first found your channel in October because I wanted to make Chili for my friends on Halloween. I wrote down all the steps and went to walmart to get all the ingredients I needed. It was a hit and my parents loved it too. So good that I made it a couple more times after that in the fall. I recently moved to a new city & into my own space for the first time back in January, and am finally trying to learn how to cook good recipes on my own. My mom is a fantastic cook so she did most of the cooking in the house growing up. It was a chilly (no pun intended) day yesterday and I felt compelled to make the chili again. So I went to the local store and got everything, down to Guinness Beer, and cooked it for about 5 or so hours yesterday evening. Then I put it in the fridge overnight, re-heated it on the stove, and man. My belly is smiling. I added sharp cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream. It was so fun and satisfying making this by myself, mincing the bell peppers, garlic & onion... really proud of myself for finally learning to cook. And you play a part in that. So seriously, thank you so much!! Some time soon I'm gonna try to follow another one of your delicious recipes. I've shared this one with a couple people though. So yummy!
thank you for the review. im going to try
I'm going to make it too for this year's super bowl đ 2024. Thank you for your review. Blessings đ
Omg this looks so good and perfect for this weather!
The details in your cooking videos are always on point. That Chilli looks like a Food Masterpiece.
I made it 3 times already and today this is going to be my dinner again I love it â€ïž thank you for all your amazing recepies...
I MADE IT! My family of 4 ate every drop! My husband said it was the best chilli he ever had! Thanks so much! It was delicious! đ„°đđ„°đđ„°đ
Now thatâs what I call an authentic bowl of chili chile!! The perfect winter comfort food đ
Well it does look great and Iâm guessing it tastes great too, but although I make chili with beans it also, true authentic Texas chili has no beans.
It sure is. I think I may make some tonight. Itâs cold in Atlanta, Chile.
*anytime
Iâm making tomorrow
Im making it now
I made this last night, it was absolutely delicious đ
How long did it take to cook?
His presentation is the best one I have seen on CZcams! He explains why the ingredient are in the recipe and tells you ânot to worryâ especially when he knows people have concern! Bravo, Ty, Bravo!
This was the best chili my family and I ever tasted. There are only three of us and the entire pot was gone in a day. I always end up freezing half for later with my old recipe. I can't wait to make this again soon. Thank you for sharing!
So I made this tonight, and I must say.. this is really fucking good chili. My entire family devoured most of it. I saved some for tomorrow, because everyone knows chili gets so much better second day.
Singing intro.. "Do I have you attention?"
Me.. "Why, Yes you do!"
I love me some Chili and cornbread.
Lmaoooo â€
I am 2 hrs into cooking this recipe and it tastes so good already. I canât wait to have my bowl in front of me.
I'm 1.5 hours into making this and so far so good! I didnt have any beer, so I added more beef broth and it is SOOO GOOD already! I also added some sweet and smoky seasoning with crushed red ppr flakes...đ„đ„đ„! I cant wait until dinner time bc if its tasting this good halfway through the cooking process I know its going to be delicious! Thanks for sharing đ
come on now, i can't be watching this first thing in the morning when i'm hungry and to lazy to go the the market lolđđ. Love you simplyfoodbyty! that chili looks so good, that's what i need on a cold day honey! I just discovered your channel and subbed, a few days ago and all of your recipes look so good, and i can't wait to see more! đđ„°đđđđđđđ
Lololol
I've made this chili so many times now and it is absolutely incredible, everyone says it's their favorite chili!!! Thanks so much Ty!!
You arenât from Texasđđœ
I was shook how powerfully savory the meat became after I added it. I never knew Cocoa can be used in that manner! Iâm going to look up more tips on how this little golden nugget can be added to other recipes!
Thanks so much for sharing!
I made this for the family last night, my husband loved it! Thanks for sharing this recipe. đ
This looks absolutely scrumptious. I will be making this soon. Ty.
Mmm looks scrumptious! And leftovers are even better đ the cocoa powder part reminds me of Cincinnati chili đ€€
Looks amazing and I agree with you about the cacao, it makes the dish jump to another level in flavor! I am making chili right now and did a search as it seemed lacking of an ingredient and sure enough, i had forgotten the cocoa! Thank you! Blessings from SoCal, I enjoyed your music too!
I cannot thank you enough for this recipe. Made it for my family for the first time today and we absolutely LOVED IT! So happy to have this recipe as a new dish đđŸ
Honey, you taught me something once again! I've never heard of rinsing your beans out of the can. Also, did not know about Cacao in my chili. I grew up in Albuquerque, NM and now live in NC, but I thought I made a pretty mean chili. I'm going to binge some of your videos now. Thank you for this! You're bloody brilliant! xo
Ooou. Yes. Not only beans. The other stuff as well you rinse
đ said the same thing about rising the can beans. My mother taught me Her chilly recipe bout 50 years ago and we always added water to each can and thatâs how we measured the water for our chilly and we never used any oils except what was drained off the meat. Everybody recipe is different. We had a food budget still so đ love how heâs recipe came out on here Iâll probably not do this recipe but it was definitely a great watch! đđŸ
Is the point of rinsing the beans to remove excess salt since there is a moderate amount of salt in the Lipton packet, beef bullion base and the seasoned salt? Or an entirely different reason?
The part to add the beer came too late, I drank mine.
I drank my beer too lol.
Lol I know rt đșđșcheers my friend
Lol ok so Iâm not the only one đđ€Ł
đ€Łđ€Ł
ewwww
Iâm making this tomorrow! It looks delicious and since itâs cold outside itâs the perfect dinner along with cornbread.
Just made this for my wife , all imma say is it was so good she was eating it fresh out the pot , thank you man ! God bless đ€đŸ
I have never wanted to make a recipe on CZcams more than your chili!! Looks so da*n good
Youâre recipes are everything thatâs good about food đđ»
Dude Iâm literally making this right now and itâs not even done yet. Itâs cooking low and slow for the next 2 hours and I just popped a bit in my mouth to taste and itâs absolutely amazing. Great job keep the recipes coming!
This is so amazing. This was my first time making chili and I followed this recipe. I did everything and added some pumpkin purée. So delicious. Thank you!
I make this chili so often it's that delicious. I can't get enough!
I vote YES!!!
Ty should have his very own tv show!
I've watched this at least 3 times because it looks delicious, warm and filling. TFS!
I think this recipe was easy to follow! I liked the way you gave instructions. I made it and used all the same exact ingredients, and my husband said it was the best thing Iâve ever made for him!
I skimmed a lot of the grease off from the top of the meat like you instructed, and it was good!
Thanks!!!
This is by far the best chili I have ever made! Thank you for sharing this recipe. Just delicious!
I'm new here Ty and I have to say, that's the best looking chili I have ever laid eyes on. I never thought to add sausage to it. I know my fiance would love it, because he loves spicy sausage. A lot of people in the comments say, "real chili doesn't have beans in it." Any chili I have ever had, has beans in it. I subbed and hit the like and notification bell!
Great video Ty. Nice and authentic. I would've added a dash of sugar, to balance the tomato sauce. The cacao is a great addition.
just made this recipe tonight and it was a success!!!! I modified the quantities a little bit and skipped the beef stock and beef base since I didn't have any available at home and it still turnt out fantastic! highly recommend this recipe!
You can not go wrong with this recipe! I made this for the family and the loved it! Thank you!
Let me tell you TY, I have made chili with your recipe multiple times and it is SO GOOD. You absolutely nailed this dish!! We always have a ton of leftovers so I put it in the freezer and this chili comes back to life so beautifully every single time. Thank you so much
How would you rate the amount of saltiness in the finished dish?
just made it and itâs way too salty, trying to fix it now
Looks great! I would use the bean liquid though. It's only the excess starch that comes out of the beans. It will help thicken the chili too!
Love the very detailed recipe and description!!! This is the REAL DEAL CHILI!!! I like mine a bit thicker bte make it just like this recipe was, a little soupy. I then freeze it in serving size plastic bags. When I thaw it and heat it back up it thickens to just where I like it.
This is the most unique chili recipe I've seen so far, the beer + cacao powder is very interesting, I will try to make this.
Making this tonight along side some good old corn bread! Iâll share my experience on my channel!
How was your experience?
How was it?
Definitely making this chili but his voice is soothing as hell
My goodness, that looks delicious. You are one of the few that Iâve seen use coco powder like I do. Sure wish I had a bowl about now.
My man! This looks amazing. With this video I can damn near smell the deliciousness. Your enjoyable to listen too and I love the creativity in this chili. I will be watching much more.
Ty, your chili recipe looks absolutely "delicious"! Loved your cooking tips, also. Take care đ·
Use to use the French's Chili O seasoning pack, doctor it up of course. Nice idea with different meats, breasfast sausage is good too. Looks good, got the craving now.
I looove the fact that he uses fresh ingredients too and not just powders. Super recipe đđ»
I made this last year and it was delicious! I just made some today. đ€
Man, this chili looks sooooo good! I don't eat beans in my chili but, I'm kinda willing to try them now.
Me too. Thats why i like a pinto bean..its very soft. đ
I made this chili lastnight (I substituted the ground beef for ground turkey because I prefer it over ground beef usually) to the âTâ cacao powder, beer, and even the same tomato purĂ©e brand... and when I tell you this chili is bomb as hell đŁ it is bomb as hell!!!! I am a fan of this man and his recipes and just his simple understanding of flavors and how they can compliment each other in a single dish. I thank you for my new staple chili recipe đđœđđœ!! If yâall want an amazing pot of chili, and I stress amazingggggg... this is the recipe and honestly, itâs also budget friendly đ
Glad you enjoyed it!â€ïž
@@TobiasYoung my family murdered that whole pot! Iâll be making it again very soon â€ïžđđœ. Again, I thank you!!
@@kfree562 can you taste the beer in the chili? I want to make it with beer but don't want my teenager to taste it lol
Thank you for the review I am going to try this and let you all know how it went
@@TheBlackbeautti normally if you cook something with alcohol, you wonât take it.
Ty! Made this recipe for my annual Super Bowl chili and gotta say it is FIRE! Thanks for this and happy cooking!

(btw- my hubby and i had it just as is and then the next night he had over a baked potato and i had with rice and it was yummy all ways)
This recipe was fabulous! I love onions so I added an extra onion. I was a bit nervous about it when I first tasted because I noticed a strong beer taste BUT towards the end, didnât notice it at all. It was gone the next day. Thanks soooo very much!!!
Ty actually looks awesome you are an amazing chef I want some and itâs only seven something this morning. Your chili looks like gourmet chili keep up the awesome work and may God continue to bless your journey and have a prosperous new year see you soon TY đđœ

Just got done making this!! I was wanting something different from our usual dinners (carne asada, tacos, enchiladas etc) And let me tell you!!!!!Coming from a Mexican household we NEVER have chili and it was a huuuuuge hit!!!!! Omg I felt so proud after I was done hahaha thank you for this awesome recipe!!!
Lol girl same here weâre always stuck eating the same thing carne con Chile, tostadas, enchiladas, tacos, taquitos, Iâm trying to get away from our usual Mexican dinners and try new recipes for my family
Thank you for this delicious recipe. I can honestly say this recipe have out did every bowl of Chili I've had. I managed to find everything and even though I chose not to add the beer I was still amazed at the flavor combinations.
Iâm Indian and I grew up eating spicy foods but my jaw dropped when I saw the 6 tablespoons of chilli powder đ„ Looks delicious! Canât wait to make this with your recipe.
Chili powder usually isn't that spicy. It's made up primarily of salt, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and peppers that are more flavorful than spicy like poblano, guajillo and/or pasilla.

That looks good, but Honey, I have to drain all of that grease out of the meat. I cook the meat separately & by itself 1st, so that I can drain it.
The Faire Play Show yes I agree the chili looks the BOMB but itâs a must i drain the grease !
Queen Pisces Right! Who wants a bowl full of grease? LoL
The Faire Play Show lol I know thatâs Right, I wanna taste flavor not grease!
I agree, I cook the meat separately and drain the grease. I do the same when I'm making a spaghetti meat sauce .
moonlighter6 U have to! LoL
This chili, is looking so delicious, now all we need is some hot butter cornbread right out of the oven (yummy)
Thank you for this one. I'm in Maryland and about to run out before this snow hit to get a few more items to make this. Good looking out with this recipe â€â€â€

Man I made some chili using your recipe and it was the best. Unfortunately I had a medium bowl of beans and a six pack of PBR with the chili before going to church. lets just say I was sweating throughout the sermon and accidently cracked a massive window rattler during a moment of silence. Thanks man. Barry Mcokiner.
