Oh my, definitely. I pictured it as I read and in my mind it's pretty much exactly like the lil ray of sunshine palette(all matte) but make it green. 💚😄

Ok, as someone who loves both cool tones and reptiles, I feel like this collection is totally after me in all the best ways.
people who are sick of orange-y brown? that's me! :) I've been eyeing the ND Glam palette because of it but this is just so much more within my budget. I really like the colors in the palette but man, do I dislike the design of the packaging :/ I haven't been a fan of the super shocks in the palettes I've tried but it's nice to hear that this one is better! Going Coconuts is a favorite and even though they are similar, I think it would be a nice additional everyday palette. It might just find its way into my collection.
Also, what a bummer that you needed to add that disclaimer. You do such great work, I'm sad to see that people don't appreciate that and just screenshot your work :(

Thanks for getting this video up so quickly...great to see the swatches. To me, this palette totally resembles the Natasha Denona Glam palette. I do have that one but this one is kind of calling my name...Also, possibly the Milani Soft & Sultry palette could be similar. I definitely want the super shock shadows and highlighters. Very pretty collection.
Can't justify this one since I have the going coconuts palette, even though cool tones are my jam. Those lip pencils are tempting though!

I love these colours but wish they would restock things on their site. I need brow products so bad and the few things I want from this collection wont be enough to reach the free internatiinal shipping
I agree. So many times I've just canceled or postponed my entire order because I'm waiting for several things to be in stock. The Coast to Coast blush being at the top of that list AND I've been waiting for the glitter liners that came with the gold collection for months. I've messaged CP asking if they are discontinued or will they be restocked at all and all I got back every time was the exact same generic "we're working on stock as fast as we can" and I'm like(out loud) "THAT'S NOT WHAT I ASKED.". I wonder if a portion of the money invested in new collections could be otherwise delegated to restocking. 🤷🏼♀️

I always wait on your Colourpop reviews!!! I just love how you always shows the best swatches and comparisons! Im not a cool girl at ALL, but looks very pretty and chic! Ritz is my favorite supershock shadow, but i would love to see new colours of them too... Is the formula that made Colourpop famous but they kind of left it behind, so sad!
Yep I’m into it i have going coconuts, nude mood ad brown sugar so a think this will complete and round a great set and shade range of neutrals for me to pair with other colors

Even though you are not a fan of cool tones Amanda you look gorgeous in cool tone looks... it really brings out the green of your eyes. One more thing, Im so thankful for your channel you are the queen of dupes

I will buy this, I'm glad the shades have some decent diversity. I literally said I want their next monochromatic palette to be Taupe in their comments, so I'm happy they listened. I may pick up one of the lip pencils too.
Thank you for the review . Having gone back to my naturally pale silver gray hair during the pandemic , I find that warm tones just don't look as nice on me . I'm glad to see more cool tone options at an affordable price .

I'm tempted to buy, but I already own Fame and don't need to spend more at the moment after buying Gather Round Sisters (after watching your vid on that collection 🙂). I am glad to see that this taupe eye palette is cooler than the Going Coconuts palette. I was a little disappointed in that one ... it wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. I think I'll get it!

For my skin and eye color, I feel like taupe is one of the most flattering neutral kind of shades on me so I’m very happy to see this! I do wish it had come out not on the heels of quite so many warm neutral/boring to me palettes cuz that makes it feel a lot less excited. But I definitely will be picking this up at some point at least!
Also, I’m really sorry your dog isn’t doing well ☹️ I lost my dog last summer to kidney failure and one of my two cats is currently in the very end stages of it as well. It’s really, really hard when your animals are sick and I’m so sorry you’re going through that! (My animals’ outcomes are in no way reflective of what your dog’s will be of course!) I hope your pup is feeling all better very soon and that stress is off you! I’ll send your dog some healing energy if you’d like; I do reiki and I’m more than happy to send some! And I’m sending you hugs. It has been a pretty terrible year all around, but you’re still allowed to be upset over your individual traumas and pains ❤️❤️❤️

Well darn!! I was hoping to talk myself out of it, but now I really want the palette and the lippie pencils (I like the formula). The palette has some more of the cool toned brown mattes I felt were missing from Bare Necessities. And well, the lower price always talks me into buying. Too bad you don't like cool tones, that eye look is gorgeous on you!

This palette is truly more taupe than going coconuts palette!

I personally think there's a noticeable difference. Going coconuts is much more of a dry sand/beachy browns kind of look, while thats taupe has much more of an earthy brown with greens and mauves, almost like wet mossy soil in a good way. I think you can see the different undertones a lot better when you look at one palette at a time rather than right next to each other.
I have both and they’re very different to my eyes. Both are beautiful.
I love taupe shadows! Not overly crazy about the packaging- I like snakes, but not snakeskin print. But- still gorgeous.

This is silly but I haaaate the packaging. I have an intense snake phobia so I will definitely not be getting the pallette. I've been leaning towards getting Going Coconuts and Making Mauves the next time there's a sale.
Nothing silly about that! I have a bug phobia, if CP came out with a pallette with bugs on the packaging I wouldn't buy it no matter how much I loved the color story

The bare necessities palette covers a large neutral base. I find that owning that one really takes away the need or want for the other more neutral palettes.
Your reviews and swatching are the BEST, love your channel! I already have Going Coconuts, Making Mauves, Fame, and Bare Necessities... I most definitely don't need this new taupe-y palette, but the kid in me loves getting packages of brand new makeup in the mail (even if my wallet really doesn't agree). Duuuuuuuude, Koosh is SENDING me, along with Seismic; I'm a sucker for super-bright white-champagne shades. I like beaming stuff like that as just a small pop on the very tippy-tip of the cheekbone or right in the middle of the eyelid. The palette makes me think of a little bitty edited version of ND Glam, tbh, which is well timed. Way nicer on the wallet, LOL. And no glitters!!! :D (By the way, ON POINT NAIL MATCHING AGAIN!)

Yesssssss! I am so excited! I think some of those shades would even make nice contour shades.
I found you because of the child palette. I ordered that one and with it I ordered the Cooler Than Me duo which included the That's Taupe palette. I have pale green eyes and cooler tones seem to draw out the green. The Naked 2 and Modern Renaissance palettes have been in to top faves for me but yeah, they are expensive. I hit pan twice on Buon Fresco (from the ABH) palette and needed a cheaper option. That's Taupe is totally and completely perfect. Not sure how I missed the release but I have it now. I'm also fully obsessed with your swatches and reviews. Thanks for doing such in depth reviews and I can't believe you have every colourpop palette ever. That's awesome.

Loving those lippencils and that darker gloss, as well as the eyeshadow palette! Good cooler tones and taupes are harder to come by imho 🤩
