I have so much Colourpop but I want this palette in my hands immediately!! They asked on insta what we wanted to see and I wonder how many people were like me and responded asking for cool tones!! đŠ

Agree with this! Cool doesn't mean gray. It means blue or red leaning. Jewel tones are often cool tones. đđđ
Exactly!!! Iâm a bright cool tone so these muted cool tones donât look great on me. Sometimes they actually wash me out. đ But bright cool tones look absolutely wonderful on me. Wish they had some more variety. Like cool plums, berries, pinks, blues, silver but a bit more vibrancy.

@@anne7277 Me too!!! I thought about making a company called tone. Where ever thing is categorize by skin tone, warm, cool and even olive skin tones. Also having lots of single pan eyeshadow so people can customize their own palettes.
So happy to finally get a cool toned palette. I am super cool toned and the warm palettes make me look ill. I donât have any of the similar palettes either so itâs great!
Well, I have Fame, the Taupes, the Coconuts, the Making Mauves, the Flutterby, the ND Glam palette, and ABH Sultry ... so I guess I'm set!

Iâve got all those too but not the ND and flutterby. Iâm definitely one whoâs suffered through the endless warm toned palettes and when I finally get a good cool toned look on the blue eyes and light skin and hair the affect is just soooo much better. I know orange is opposite of blue on the color wheel but too much orangey reddish gold copper and ugh itâs just garish and awful on my complexion. Maybe we cool toned ones should be outraged at the lack of inclusivity on our skin tone being represented. (Yes that was a joke.)

*SO* glad cool tones are getting some love. Seems like the focus has been warm, warm, warm. If you are at all familiar with seasonal color theory, I am a classic Winter. That means I look best in cool /jewel tone colors in clothes, accessories, jewelry, and fashion makeup.

@@stacyketner BH Cosmetics has a smallish pallet called Blueberry Muffin. Good quality and consistency and all but three of the 16 smallish pans are suitably cool. Their Supernova pallet is on sale. It is all baked shimmers, 18 of them, with only 4 beingly decidedly warm. Can't tell you how much $$ I have wasted searching for a good cool toned pink! Not sure it exists. ;)
@@bethrichardson5364 i find that the best cool tone pink are very light. Think Colorpop super shock shadow in Frog, L'oreal 206 Mademoiselle Pink, L'oreal infallible 756 Always Pearly Pink , Bareminerals Cultured Pearl and ULTA Metallic Cream shadow in Pretty in Pink these are all a fair/ light blue pink

@@bethrichardson5364 welcome sweetie, I have all of those in my collection, and also Costal Scents eyeshadow single in Pink Silver, because they are the only pinks that look good on me , brighter and darker blue pinks make me look sick the same as reds and warmer colors .

At first I was disappointed until seeing the swatches I actually like it more. I do not like faux mattes but at least there are only 4 of those.
I do love my Fame it has my favorite wet look metallic formula without the little mica flecks/ shimmery pieces that drive me crazy.
Ok now Iâm happy i didnt buy the thatâs taupe palette because now thereâs THIS!!! But problem is I am the kind of person who likes simple/ small palettes for when Iâm on the go...... well Iâm confused again đ€Šđ»ââïž

Okay, so I finally just got Making Mauves and found the metallics to be more glittery than I expected or wanted. The Stone Cold Fox metallic swatches look less glittery and more shimmery from here đ§ - is that true or is this kind of the standard for CP?
Omg I thought I was the only one. I hate glittery flecks in my metallics. I just want a wet looking metallic.
Exactly my thoughts too... I was so excited about the making mauves and was super disappointed with so much glitter. Even the super shock shadows in making mauves is too glittery for my taste

Yes, same here. The shimmers are too chunky and very different from the smooth and buttery metallics from previous Colourpop palettes I had fallen in love with. I was so turned down, because the colors are beautiful, but the texture is annoying and has an outrageous amount of fall out.
Well darn. I was hoping for reassurance but it seems like a lot of people share this glitter concern. My CP singles are great and Dream Street has stunning, refined metallics, but Iâm thinking the recent palettes are not the same type of formula. đ
On a whim, I ordered Stone Cold Fox this morning, after hearing that it was a true cool-toned palette. I'm a winter, so warm toned colors make me look sickly. Thank you for this review. I can relax now that I didn't waste my money.

It seems like they listened to people about always having pressed glitters in palettes because they seem to have skipped having them in the last few (thank goodness!). So hopefully theyâll start listing and stop doing the glitter mattes!!! I donât get the point, either do shimmer/metallic or matte, no in between! đ

I love cool tones and the Fame palette is one of my most used palettes in my collection. I am extremely tempted by this large palette... I didn't get the That's Taupe, Making Mauves and Going Coconuts so it might actually make sense to get this one.
I do absolutely despise those mattes with glitter, though. It's the most useless formula ever, imo. The glitter doesn't really show on the skin anyway and instead just drops all over the face.
I'm so excited to get That's Taupe and Stone Cold Fox in the mail! They don't make enough cool palettes so I ordered both. Can't wait! TYSM! I would say 99.9% of palettes are warm. Enough! Haha. Idk, I think they are different and rare enough to order both đ€ đ Especially since yes there are a few cool tones here and there but they are far and few so I would rather have a designated palette for just cool tones. I like the mixture of grays and browns mixed with the mauve colors. Thanks for swatching the colors, I'm glad to see that there are not a lot of glittery specks in the mattes.
I was planning to buy the Thatâs Taupe palette. As someone who has never purchased any Colourpop eyeshadows, Stone Cold Fox will provide me a large assortment of cool tones very similar to those I have been tempted by in past releases. Thanks for the helpful video! đ

Iâve never tried Colourpop before, but all CZcamsrs I watch have never said anything negative about their shadows. On their website today, I found a bundle of the Stone Cold Fox and the Bare Necessities for $48 (usually $34 each!). I couldnât help myself -even though I have more eyeshadow palettes than I could ever use even if I had 2 heads with 6 eyes each.

I own Fame, Going Coconuts, Making Mauves, and Snake Eyes, so... I already own Stone Cold Fox! Thanks for saving me the money. If I didn't already own those, I would be all over this like white on rice. I love my cool tones! I always look like I have pink eye and warm-toned eye shadows, they do not work on me.

My boyfriend came into the kitchen when he heard me cussing and whisper yelling at colourpop! I was like "what?!?! But I just got the taupe palette!!! I would've held out for this bigger one had I known about this damn release!!!" And he came in to hug me and ask if I was ok đ€Łđ and then he realized I was reacting to this video and the swatches, he just laughed at me and walked away!

I really appreciate this review. I ordered Bare Necessities and was trying to decide on Stone Cold Fox. I switch back and forth between cool and warm pretty regularly, so while I'm sure I could get away with just Bare Necessities, I was leaning toward getting Stone Cold Fox, too, and this side-by-side comparison was exactly what I was looking for to help me decide. As you noted, there are some near dupes between the two, but I do think there are enough differences to make having both worthwhile for me. I'm never going to need to buy another neutrals palette again!
About a year ago, I was kinda struggling to find a good cool toned palette. I ordered Soft & Sultry from Milaniâs website. Now I have so many choices!

A lot of the shades in BN pull cool on me so you definitely would have all three types of tones in that one.

I just ordered this. I wanted it from day one. An I tried resisting cause I have 100's of palettes. My favorite makeup item is eyeshadows. But I'm so into the Baroque and grandeur palettes and I just know I'll use this. I love cool tones and you don't often find cool toned palettes done well but I'm so excited to see the swatches on this and I can't wait to dig into this. An I recently picked up some single cream shadows on mercari in all the shades I've been aching for so dang long!! Charlotte Tilbury Marie Antoinette (oyster pearl), CT jean. CT Golden Eclipse and Star Gold, hourglass scattered lights in Burnished. Reflect. Foil, ray and Molton. I'm still trying to get the shade Smoke. So it will be a lot of fun putting it all to use and I got everything unused and for great prices.An I was also able to pick up an bunch of Nudestix blushes I'm just excited to put this esthetic in my head into full action. An I hope it's all is just as pretty as I imagined. I still want Nudestix Bondi Bae. But I can hold off I'm set on makeup for a while. Thank you for your review. I know I'm watching it 6 mths later. I try to only watch reviews when I know I'm buying it or seeing if I want it. Otherwise it's very hard to watch videos on things I want and can't buy. (I was too late for That's Taupe; so, I bought it at a rather high price from a highly-rated EBay vendor). I also have the Fame palette. Seeing the comparison swatches made me smack my head! Well, I've been lusting after the Natasha Denona Glam palette, and I guess I wanted to make sure that I can dupe all of the colors. Ugh! Well, despite having every comparison palette mentioned, these swatches were so good that I had to pause the video and go order the Stone Cold Fox palette. And who can deny thatâs a pretty cool name for a cool palette.

Okay the duochrome in stone cold fox is beautiful and love icy lighter neutrals and bare necessities has beautiful mid tone warm neutrals that I love! So might get both anyways!
