Welcome to Thaiger Travels! In this episode, Natty and Jay will take you on a 24 hr adventure-filled day trip in the Surat Thani province to experience all the adrenaline filled activities you can partake in the beautiful little city of Surat hani.
People typically see Surat Thani as a passing point to somewhere exciting like Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan. However, there are many under appreciated and a lot of unseen beauty that deserves attention in this city. Hopefully, this clip will encourage you try out the fun activities that Surat Thani has to offer and understand that Surat Thani is actually, where the fun begins.
In this adventure fIlled episode, our activity list includes:
- A Hike up Khao Sok National Park and cooking with Bamboos in the Jungle
- Hike up to the top of the floating pagoda, Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park
- Kayaking in the Pa Ton Nam Ban Nam Rad spring water lake
- River tubing in Sok River on real life car tires

Watching Jay since he came to The Thaiger and learning that he has a passion for the mountains and nature of the Chiang Mai area - I was confused when the expressions on Jay's face in this video were not always enthusiastic about the nature that Jay was fully immersed in. Why? Was it the heat?
Regarding Natty, I was quite surprised to see her come alive and be so enthusiastic. From watching The Thaiger, I had come to falsely believe that Natty was an Uptown Urban City Girl. Well - I am happy to learn that Natty is also a naturist adventurer.
So, lesson learned = what we believe from the regular Thaiger shows may be far from the truth what The Thaiger staff are truly like outside of the studio. :>))

Hi Martin, I do love the mountains and scenic beauty with the cool weather of Chiang Mai. But not the hiking up the mountain part. I was definitely out of my comfort zone. It really was very hot and humid as well! But i did enjoy the trip very much and would go again!

Great video guys , Natty is super cute watching her having so much fun and enjoying every minute. Jay didn't get excited over the giant leaf 555 but deep down you can tell he was enjoying himself . As to the floating pagoda what a beautiful place , to me this was the place I would hick for hours if need be. And I was sitting on my lounge laughing so much when the fish started biting you both 555. Thank you guys I really enjoyed the video. I think I will add Surat Thani to my list for my trip in September .
