I'm in The Netherlands and I have left side hemianopia. My neurologogist told me nothing can be done, no training, no special glasses, nothing. Now I find out something can be done!! Why don't they know this in hospitals?
Mine is on my left side. I tried prism glasses but they were very strange and awkward

Prism glasses have not helped me at all.
I have left homonymous hemianopia. I had to see 3 different opthalmologists in order to even talk to someone about prisms. I'm in the United States
Mine is on the left,also from stroke.
The same principles apply and the use of this type lens/ prism could move make you more aware of the sight you are missing from the left side of each eye. Let me know if you need more detailed information.

Hi there,
i'm living with the homonymous hemianopia since the 2014, i found the time is the only thing it can help you. I dont use any lenses and i fuction normaly every day.

@@erock3737 no, it's not improve with time, it's a result of brain surgery of glyovlastoma at 2014, but since then i learn to fuction normally and now i dont even considered as a problem at every day tasks.
