- Full concert of Petra's 50th Anniversary show at Buck Lake Ranch in Angola, Indiana on 08/20/2022.
Along with the current lineup of Petra which includes Bob Hartman, John Schlitt, John Lawry, Greg Bailey, and Cristian Borneo, this show featured an appearance by the other three founding members of Petra Greg Hough, John DeGroff, and Bill Glover who joined Bob Hartman to perform one song.

They are putting together a 50th anniversary tour. I really am so stoked that they are coming to Texas on my Birthday...61st PETRA SHOW. It will be a great night and a fantastic BAND.

I was able to go to one Petra concert (Davenport, IA-About 1994). Newsboys opened up the evening for them. That night rocked! John is always singing his heart out! Gets us rockin' even more! Bob knows how to pick 'em!

This is so cool. Grew up with Petra and saw them 3 times during my high school years. Decades of great classic songs and albums. Being from IN, I wish I had been able to see this. At 11:00, Counsel Of The Holy is still 1 of my all time fav songs :) Bringing back memories watching this.
Through all these years, John schlitt still sings amazingly.

Thanks for sharing, now as any "old school" fan of the band would like to see more songs with the 1st lineup, as well as the participation of more former members who played a fundamental role in the history of the band and ministry like Greg X Volz, Mark Kelly , Ronny Cates and Loiue Weaver, and in the case of concerts commemorating 50 years the band could have played a show with all these guys and still make an official record .video and audio, very good your idea of informing which song and album during the video, only two corrections, the album Beat the System was released in 1984 and not in 1985 the album tour and recording of the album Captured in time and Space that was in 1985, and Bob's Solo is even used in the album Farewell from 2005 and not from the album Captured in time and Space from 1985, thanks again for sharing the video, God bless

Pretty crappy set list leaving out so many of the bands greatest classics from the late 70s and early to mid 80s that actually made them the huge band they became, and allowed them to have 50 years of a career. Nothing from Never say die, and only 1 from More Power To Ya!! Yes most of those early songs had Greg X on vocals, not John. Maybe they should have invited Greg to sing a few of them, that would have really pleased the fans. Also only giving the original line up one song is inexcusable!! They deserved at least 3 or 4, maybe 2 from each album!! Maybe invite some other classic musicians from other line ups? It may have made a longer concert, but the fans wouldn’t have minded. It would have made a special show!! They could have recorded and filmed it and it would have sold like hotcakes!! Truly represent the whole 50 years!! Do it up right for the fans!!

Surprised for playing "Fired Up" and "Fool's Gold" - But, if they come to Brazil, I suggest to change some tracks on the Set List. And a question that I have about this live version of "Creed" - Why BOB doesn't make the solo? It is one the most beautiful ones that he does.

Wheres the original drummer!
The "original" drummer is Bill Glover. He still plays drums, in GHF with 2 other original Petra members Greg Hough and John DeGroff. He's also in another band called Bandana. But you are probably referring to Louie Weaver. Louie plays with CPR (Classic Petra Resurrection) with Greg Volz.

This event was supposed to be held in an outside amphitheater, but thunderstorms in the area forced the event to the venue's indoor "wedding barn". It was still and awesome concert.

I love these guys and I Too am a Five Instrument Musician… that drummer makes me really MISS Louie… Dude has ZERO touch and flat drowned out Bob… I don’t care if he THINKS he is “Keith Moon”, that boy needs a lesson or two on DYNAMICS… HORRIBLE…
Why a iconic band like this it's celebrating the 50th anniversary like this? This was a big event to throw a big party with a big production on a big stage in a big place, no on a place like this! What happened! 🤷🤷
Come on, there's was there most of all the members, since the founders until the last good part of the band except Loui Weaver, Ronnie Cates, and Greg Volx. Never in a lifetime will be happen again.

Petra was the band that got me into Christian music as a child. Kind of sad to see them playing in a place like this at this stage of their lives. Plus the performance was a tad embarrassing, especially with the original members. I’ll just remember them like they used to be.

Never loved Petra after Greg left...to much mainstream music....
I'M STILL VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT PETRA DID NOT DO A 50TH CO CONCERT IN FORT WAYNE INDIANA AFTER ALL THIS IS WHERE THEY GOT THERE START😢
