not gonna lie, it’s kinda hot.
🔥
I agree
Answer equals very yes!
@@RM-vj4ni i don't think you quite understand how hrt affects people
That "timing" joke is flawless comedy. Honestly one of the best crafted jokes I've ever heard.
To follow it up with “repetition” was genius
@@shankrl1 this is an old set of jokes that has taken many forms.
@@shankrl1 I was ready for him to interrupt once more with "rule of three"
And everybody just ignored David Mitchell's "and a lot of carpenters come out of the electricity" joke
I didn't get it lol
@@JavieraScarratt It's because Richard started with "you'd be surprised how many electricians come out of the woodwork."
James Oxborough oooh thanks
I missed it too, and in hindsight that was a brilliant joke, lol!
it wasn't that funny tbh
Of course Charles doesn't have friends. He has close associates. The class of this man is beyond humanity.
Charlie Higson's 'timing' joke gets me almost every time... especially when Mitchell goes on to claim it makes him look like a fool, only to then mess up reading from the autocue.
Lol
Thank you for clarifying the comedy of it all.
Me too, brilliant. I watch this series roughly monthly as I love it so. Thankyou CZcams
@@extroverted_hermit So, I don't know if you've been on here before. This is called youtube. You've just scrolled down into the bit we call the "comment section". I think you'll find it contains people talking about the video that you can watch above. Sometimes, they just compliment what happened in the video. It is a common, quite harmless part of the experience.
You'll probably have a much greater time here if you don't react so bitterly to people just having their fun, making small comments without necessarily adding some great insight onto the video. Just some advice for the future.
@@dig8634 🙄 yikes
@@burna8753 Hey, if they are gonna be a smartass, I can be a smartass right back. People act as if repeating what happened in the video is some cardinal sin of the comment section as if it isn't completely normal to repeat something you thought was funny or interesting
Watching this on CZcams is a great statement for the CZcams joke 😂
Trude it also proves richard was right in saying „im probably preaching to the converted“ :D
Falketto Definitely😂
I was going to say the same thing, haha
I noted your comment before watching, forgot, thought the same, and then saw your comment again after and got to agree with you.
@@colmwhateveryoulike3240 ha ha, what a story, Mark.
I never noticed how absolutely amazingly David and Micky play off each other.
I love seeing behind the scenes footage like this! I'm in love with U.K. panel shows!
my us google news feed sent me an article about sean lock passing and it sent me down the panel show rabbit hole
i feel like you posted this only so you could torture us and still not bring the show back.
this
The show was alright
8:41 Robert's looking at David thinking "You DO remember this was an episode of Peep Show, right?"
And 4:41 was in That Mitchell and Webb Look
That’s what I was thinking haha
its another episode of numberwang.
I never imagined Jimmy with stubble.. but he's okay..
Nah he looks like a hangover version of himself
i dunno, he looks ever so slightly more likely to commit tax evasion....
Well you see he bought this pair of Levis...
Richard Aoyoade wasn’t even acting in The IT Crowd, he’s just naturally weird
I saw Richard in an interview about the IT Crowd asking how they wanted him to speak and act for the part. Just as he was, was the reply. 🤗
He’s acting all the time
The part was actually written specifically for him :)
hes naturally awkward on TV because he genuinely finds TV awkward and he plays it up as his persona, hes extremely witty and cool in reality
@@TheKeaneKat in that one episode of big fat quiz Richard was really cool when he mocked Jimmy's mom.
“Repetition” Higson genius
lmao the delayed laughter at the end is so good
I think 7:10 may be one of my favourite David Mitchell moments of all time. And that's really saying something.
Loved this show. Shame they only made one season.
1:36 I died laughing at Mickey ready to punch the poor water guy.
RIP
@@LordOfTheYam I was sad when I heard , as well.
From Buxton,Derbyshire.
I feel like this show was so under appreciated.
Wait, are you the guest on my comedy panel shows this week or am I the guest on your comedy panel show this week?
I wish they had done more of this show.
Hey Channel 4, whoever encoded this video for streaming deserves a raise.
“Are you from Chatham? *Get out.”*
1:31 my favorite Micky Flanagan moment
“Timing” 😂😂😂
8:34 Love how he's saying that to Jez 😂
0:51 😂 Micky with subtitles made me laugh-How do you get "I like a zip up cardi government" out of that?
Jimmy saving that bit in the end like the joke master he is
5:38 Now we know the updated version of the age old warning to traumatise our kids with-
*_"DON'T EAT THE YELLOW SNOW!!!_*_ And for that matter, while we are on the subject you better bloody well stay away from the white snow too, that shit might have blown over from Alaska."_
This is even better than the actual show!
LOVE David Mitchell
Does this mean there's a chance for more of this show? Because please, sirs, can we have some more?
You know, for _some_ reason - which I’m now struggling to recall! - I never watched this program when it first aired on the Channel 4 TV channel...I’m beginning to realise what an absolutely _MASSIVELY_ *HUGE* mistake I made! David Mitchell + Richard Ayoade? What the _HELL_ was I thinking??!!🤔 - And thus the pure, inspiring comedic gold I was, alas, _TOTALLY_ *MISSING OUT ON,* for _ALL THIS TIME!!!🤦🏻♀️🤩🤣☺️_
Watched it yet,Lorna?
A shame this series didn't take off, I quite enjoyed it. I wonder if expense of making it factors in, and if so how they can cut costs somehow to make them more likely to last at least a few years.
Could probably save a few bob on set design quite easily.
That “you begin to make me look like a moron” around 9:45 is maybe the most showbizzy moment for which I’ve seen David Mitchell break concentration. He often gets performatively frustrated but I reckon that was the most genuinely angry I’ve ever seen him on telly.
Micky's Cockney French accent got a smile from me.
bring back this show!
By thick and shallow, do you mean foreign? lmfao!
Fantastic show
Bring this show back!
This "CZcams" thing Richard's recommending sounds interesting. Anybody here ever tried it?
Don't think so! 😂😂😂😂
This isn't "LOSING IT". Losing it is when Joe Wilkinson talks about naming people's penises.
Or Jimmy making the glory hole joke about Suzie. That was losing it level.
Chatham bus station literally has banners with Jimmy Carr's face on hanging from the lampposts.
Fucking love Chatham
For target practice?
Yes but it also has Noddy, Billy the quid, and a crack cocaine problem
@@cmecoo3109 and now Noddy has passed away
Loved the Medway Towns comments.
As someone from Medway, I approve this message
"Cutting a sausage longways" - lengthways!
Why can’t I Like this twice!
7:56 As someone who lives in The States, with *out* the net, I would never have seen this. :-)
EDIT: Watching in Sept. 2021.
Can't tell if this was dull entirely or just the bloopers were exhausting
Losing it is a bit of an overstatement
Sally looking impeccable as always
3:56 Cutting a sausage long-ways is splitting it.
I absolutely love Sally
The audience is warming up its laughter for the cameras
Why can't we get this kind of blooper from WILTY!!? Give us uncut episode BBC!!
"it didn't work"
hahahaha
I adore David!
One of my favorite of these shows. Up there with WILTY.
I have only found a handful of episodes. How many were made? Did it flop?
Bummer.
(American usage, Not UK;-)
I loved this show
A bit of a late reply, but only eight episodes were made. No reason given for why they didn't make more, neither official nor unofficial.
7:53 Oh the irony
David just explaining what happens to Jez in that Peep Show episode.
Micky Flanagan is my favorite.
Very brave talking to the head of the Lannisters like that.
thanks richard. i'll have to try that you tube thing, i do like videos of cats
love mickeys laugh
9:26 Genuis!
Google offers to translate your comment to English, and does so by changing "Genius!" to "Knee!"
Every time I see Charles Dance I daydream about him being my father. Anyone else have a proper shit for a dad?
Yup . I daydream about Charles dance , Leonard nimoy ( fantastic dad ) and Sean Connery for a father .
@@jeannietapner5016 my father actually looked like a cross between Leonard nimoy and an native American. Lol. That's where the stimulation ended unfortunately.
The word you should be using is daddy.
@@budle89 feeling left out?
6:12 Reminds me of when Sacha Baron Cohen played Bruno in his tv show back in the early 2000s where he blatantly made fun of people from the fashion industry, right to their face, and they didn't realize it!
7:12 I think he had a stroke....
I reckon the average British panel show has 2.5 Oxbridge graduates on them. Practically everyone without a regional accent went to Oxbridge.
ah yes.. that is the exact image I think of when I imagine everyone "losing it"
Ba haha haha wtf @ 7:10 😅
Jimmy with a stubble looks like his evil twin from a different timeline
Omg Lord Vetinari!!
One man, one vote.
Why was this show cancelled?
From this video, as far as I can tell, it wasn't very funny.
One word - Micky.
@@liboud22 What you talking about? Mickey's hilarious 😀
@@StrykezMan09 Well yes, he is very popular among us morons. Everyone else don't like him though...
@@liboud22 I refuse to believe that! 😀
I actually quite liked this show, although it was a bit weak and thin on content. Its just that there are so many damn panel comedy shows, and the comedians are trying too hard because I think they know the show is a touch boring.
Satyasya Satyasya It definitely needed some fine tuning, but it wasn’t anything that couldn’t have been fixed given time. WILTY, Cats does Countdown, QI are all different to their earliest seasons and that’s because they figured out what worked and what didn’t. I’m sure this show would have benefited from a little more faith from the producers.
@@Jalanko13 except QI has gotten worse
The format of this show really isn't working imo and the only thing keeping it together was just the panel being funny. And Richard while he is great and funny and I like him a lot, I felt that he is not particular suited to be a team captain because his style isn't very collaborative. He is great in small doses and I thought how he played off with Jimmy Carr in episode 1 was really brilliant, but there were some rather weak episodes as well.
8oo10cdc is the best, and its in no small part due to Rachel and Suzie
The thing about panel shows is they're only as good as their panellists, and James Acaster can only be on one show at any given time
I've never heard David talking such smut!
7:29 well this is awkward..
i should check out this youtube thing, sounds fun
Charlie Higson is a genius
It's too bad this was cancelled, it was great!
‘I nearly knocked him spark out’
Micky Flanagan
The irony of the youtube gag Richard makes. Hi Folks.
I'd be her Alaska Man!!! 😍
Good ol' Medway
lol, he has facial hair!!
Jimmy should never get rid of the stubble
David: “Try the internet”
Me: “How the fuck do you think I got here”
I love David’s “fuck fuck fuck”
It's the lady from Veep 😁
@Jimmy Carr looking fucking good with a beard!
Micky's "Who the fuck are you"
8:45 thats in peep show
I would. Buckingham Palace is built of bones, that golden carriage might well be upholstered with the hides of slaves. Cut the damn sausage however you like.
zip cardigan is best
oh no cardigans should have large wooden buttons
Jimmy looks like a discount George Michael
If Richard ayoade took a personality test we all know what the results would say.....
PERSONALITY: AWESOME
Dinner with the Queen at Buckingham palace & they serve sausages 😳
Is Richard Aoyoade really that awkward or is it just an act?
It's an act, he was pretty cool on Russell Brand's podcast.
Have you ever considered that maybe he's more likely to be awkward when filming for TV rather than just talking on a podcast?
@@NosajKnows the other guests seem perfectly normal though
Nosaj he spoke about it in an interview (not filmed) for an article.
It’s mainly an act/ severe exaggeration of his personality
I decided to put on this front after he felt slightly invaded by a filming crew when he was 21 about a play he was in with his friends
That footage is still on CZcams and it shows his personal, more normal side
I think I like Jimmy Carr more with stubble
Love Mickey can't understand him
