The ability to decrease the suction comes in handy when cleaning domestic walk off rugs in the home. Cleans well but does suck so hard that the rugs get sucked into the powerhead. Same is true when cleaning drapes.

Nice comparison. BTW Sebo's mentioned both a soft brush roller and increased airflow plate for their ET-1 powerhead. It would be worthwhile to see how/if those improve performance on plush/high pile carpet. The Felix I used for 15 years had no swivel problems but did bpg down in my plush carpe....its E3 replacement does better.

Picked up a Felix just due to its option of disabling the roller. The quality stands out.

How well would this handle for picking up small down feathers and bird seed husks (both easily airborne)?

I already know I wouldn't need to decreased suction because I have it on my current vacuum and never use it... What I wonder about is the standard they set for filter changes.....For example... My house stays clean... It takes me FOREVER to fill a HEPA bag...because I'm constantly cleaning over clean...vs say someone who has a dirty house or has more dirt to deal with....wouldn't how often filters are changed be different in different situations?

According to the FAQ for the Sebo, every 10-20 bags, so twice a year it seems and most will fill a bag roughly every other month. That is for a typical house level of dirt/dust/pet hair. If you are cleaning on top of clean, then those intervals may be longer. It will depend on how often you are replacing the bags in this scenario.

@@johnhpalmer6098 With my current vacuum.. a Cirrus CR 79 which uses a HEPA bag... I change it about every 7 months and even then it's not full. LOL I suck activated charcoal pellets inside the bag every month or so to keep the bag smelling neutral. I almost feel like I could go a year on one bag but I just end up changing it every 6-7 months. I think the longest I've gone was 8. I just wasn't sure how this would change their change filter after XX bags method.. Someone who doesn't fill a bag for 8 months vs someone who fills one in 2 months.
