Since this vid is 4 years old has the XVive U3 Wireless System worked for you Rob? Was looking at 5.8 vs 2.4 and wondering if that made much of a difference in response and such????

Shan, the Xvive U3 is still holding up! Can you believe it!? I say go for it!

Is there any compression or loss of fidelity? I’ve tried a couple 2.4 and 5.8 systems and they all seem to neuter the harp tone.

Yes there is some compression Norfolk. I’ve hear it more so go thru the PA but it’s not that noticeable thru my amps

@@chromboyx I run mostly from a pedalboard to a PA, do you think this would work to cut the cord between my board and the PA?

    • @chromboyx

You still need to run the OUT cord to the PA, the wireless goes to the IN on your pedalboard.

@@chromboyx why can’t I run a wire from my mic to pedal board, and then pedal board wireless to PA?

    • @chromboyx

Because the wireless should go on the Mic to the pedalboard in so your not tripping on wires….yout Out has to wired to either pa or amp
