I have four insulin plants . I consume one leaf almost everyday . When I started taking one leaf everyday say one year ago my fasting sugar was 220 . And now my fasting sugar is 140 . I have not observed any side effects till now . And I am sure there won't be any . Guys it has helped me a lot . You people can also give it a try .
Glad to watch this video! You got a lot of good points. I’ve been using Insulin Plant for 3 yrs now and I can testify the efficacy of the plant. I’ve actually been doing some research on it’s uses and side effects so I can continue using it to control my blood sugar. I also have Insulin plants that I’ve been growing and propagate so I will not run out of supplies for my consumption. I’m only prediabetic but my blood sugar would spike up to 250 after meal if I have more carbs during that meal time. I would use a tsp of the powder and mix it in a cup of boiling water every night and then my blood sugar would drop down to 120’s in the morning. If I do a little extra activity before bedtime then my blood sugar would go down to 110’s. I don’t see any side effects so far. Infact, it also helps improve my energy and I don’t get sick as often anymore like common colds, UTI’s and such…

Respectfully, The key takeaways that I’m noting from this is that you do not have insulin plant, you have not grown it, tried it or seen the real time effects on a patient and you made these suggestions based on the very limited and likely biased ‘research’ available bc you also suggest that more research needs to be done. Im hoping the 24k ppl who viewed recognize that prescription insulin is a huge business with a lot of $ to persuade against affordable plant medicine. In the Philippines we have a tea preparation made up of purely insulin plant. It is prepared and named "Yamang Bukid". Is it better to drink the tea rather than make a concoction directly from the insulin plant? It is sold as tea bags.
For me it raised my blood sugar 100 points and stuck that way for about a week after stopping taking it. I was taking I think 5 capsules which is what they suggested and had been taking it for about a week. For me it did nothing but raise my blood sugar so I stopped taking it.

Insulin plant is easy to plant, i have so many insulin plant in my garden, the taste is like a kamias or santol its addictive taste of sour but i know i can only eat leaf a day to be safe. Its easy to grow just cut and place in a soil, it grows even without root.
I got this insulin plant growing like crazy in my garden. I just harvested some but don't dare to consume them. 😂 I don't have diabetes but I am an overweight lady.
I have the actual plant. My understanding is that it can be chewed twice a day rather than a formulated pill? It seems to be a hearty plant but I have not tried it. I was looking at using it to maintain blood sugars as my A1C just crossed the threshold and no insulin is yet required. I have a dehydrator I use for foods and herbs that can dehydrate the leaves and add to teas, smoothies, etc. I currently have 5 stevia plants that I routinely trim, dry and grind to use daily or just chew the leaf like a mint leaf. Any thoughts on this type of use rather than manufactured pills?
So each plant has its own benefits and disadvantage but side effects matters a lot so compartive synthetic drug made in labs are more prone to side effects. But I feel more research on plant based drug would help like for ex combination of insulin plant and metformin

Liyana Prince, I ordered Berberine with Ceylon cinnamon 1200mg from Amazon. I had to get least expensive as I'm retired and on SS. It says 2 a day and I take 1 in morning and 1 in evening and it has really has helped me. I even cut my metformin and glipizide from three times a day to twice a day. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Why do you take a capsule insulin? Just take raw leaves from it and not the capsule or tea.

I just take a leaf and chew it. It works well.
