We are from Texas, she’s fourth generation Mexican-American. But I do have to admit that many Mexicans look Asian but I suppose it could be from the Indigent heritage. Han Hyunmin and idols like Hueningkai from TXT, and Vernon from Seventeen have helped me feel more comfortable with the fact that I’m mixed race. I’ve always felt like I wasn’t fully part of either community (Asian and white), so I still struggle with self identity even to this day. However, just simply seeing more mixed Asian representation reminds me that I’m still valid as a person.

I can always tell an idol who is mixed. I was right with txt. I found him exceptional and I am happy that he is unique 😘❤️🤗 It makes him more to be admired and I love that K-pop has evolved to the point that many different cultures that it can now show that we all can be united and that K-pop is not just for Korean people but for all. Han Hyunmin and idols like Hueningkai from TXT, and Vernon from Seventeen have helped me feel more comfortable with the fact that I’m mixed race. I’ve always felt like I wasn’t fully part of either community (Asian and white), so I still struggle with self identity even to this day. However, just simply seeing more mixed Asian representation reminds me that I’m still valid as a person.
Being biracial is so beautiful and meaningful u come from the best of both worlds and they give people like us hope and inspire us 🥺

I read that Huening Kai's father is Brazilian of German descent (think Giselle Bündchen, etc.) whose family emigrated to the United States. If that is so, his father is Brazilian-German, although Huening Kai is American by birth.

it wasn't necessarily bc he's mix, it was more bc at that time he just speaked chinese, so it give him a hard time comunicating with others, a teacher even marginalized him for that. Kai even had to take one year off school to learn korean properly

I’m sorry what I took away from this video is the white and Korean mixed race idols had a bigger focus and as everyone knows white features are more desirable in Asian culture. So they had a one up. I will not take away from their talent and hard work, but they were more accepted because of they’re other half side was a white(European) background. I wish them all the success it’s just so sad how other races/cultures (of darker complexions) are treated and used. Smh the world we live in it a brutal one smh
