Nutella

Ep.5 in my 'From Scratch' series, Nutella. So simple to make and tastes so delicious. 100% worth it! Written recipe below...
Ingredients:
Enough for roughly 17 servings (1 tbsp)
400g Hazelnuts
1 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp neutral tasting oil (I used peanut)
1 tsp salt
Method:
1. Place the hazelnuts into a tray. Roast for 15-20 minutes at 180 C, until browned and fragrant. Check every 5 minutes to turn the nuts so they don’t burn.
2. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
3. Place the nuts into a kitchen towel and shake about for a few minutes until the skins have peeled off. The odd skin left on doesn’t matter.
4. Place the nuts into a food processor and blend on high until smooth.
5. Add the icing sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, oil and salt. Blend again until smooth. Adjust thickness with more / less oil, bearing in mind that it will firm up slightly when refrigerated.
6. Place into a sterilised airtight jar and store in the fridge for up to 4 weeks (although highly doubt it will last that long considering how tasty it is). Enjoy!

Hey man, just made this, great recipe. I toned down the vanilla extract to 1/2 tsp to bring out more of the roasted flavor of the hazelnuts. Absolutely love it!
