If it's lagging you can convert the footage to proxies... which is basically when the footage is in a lower res when editing but can be turned back to 4k when importing...

This rlly helped. I was planning on getting a MacBook Air 13 for video editing, but you are the only CZcamsr that proved to me it is not enough. Thanks a lot! I will be getting a 14 inch pro now.
If you don professional work it is not enough but if you do normal video or photo editing it is more than enough. I do some photo editing and retouche but I do mix art and as I work also on analog this machine is more than enough. Those Air series are really powerful. Even if I must upgrade I will choose a M3 MBA 16gb 1 TB ssd. What I love with this e machines is the portability. Otherwise I have an iMac as desktop alongside an pad so no need to go Pro.. for the moment.
