The first guitar solo I ever loved. That hammer on/pull off lick is still the most satisfying I've heard after all this time. Also liked you on Fotos Y Recuerdos, which introduced me to the Pretenders, rock and roll, and the guitar. Selena Y Los Dinos were my first taste of music, and for that I'm eternally grateful. Good to see you're still shredding majorly AND have yet to age.

as a metal guitarist who's been forced to hold back and play much more conservative music (much like Chris Perez at least as I understood it from the point of view of the Movie _Selena_ & basing that on a lot of his leads & general tone & playing style...) I'd like to know how he went from a Fender Richie Sambora Signature Stratocaster to what looks to me like a Washburn Nuno Bettencourt N4 that's been modified by a guitar tech/luthier to be fitted with single coil pickups in the neck and middle positions mounted onto a custom shaped pickguard and the body would've needed to be routed to accept the middle pickup, the 5-way switch, it doesn't show what pickup he's running in the bridge position, I'd assume a humbucker of sorts, & you don't see the Floyd Rose Original like an N4 would have....
A year later but...here you go, LOL!! Click on the link for the info on the guitar (Nuno Bettencourt N6 by Washburn) I'm playing in this video. It was a gift...and it sounds amazing. Chris Perez well, that's what Nuno Bettencourt AND Dimebag Darrell used until both Bill Lawrence USA & Bill & Becky Lawrence L500XL's began to get difficult to get his hands on and he wanted some modifications to them and that's when he went to Seymour Duncan who developed the SH-13 Dimebucker (that's the story I got anyways) but it could have to do with switching from Randall Warheads to KRANK Krankenstein's... me, personally, I have mostly vintage Fender Amps cuz my dads a vintage fender tech & guitarist himself (electrical engineering is his trade) I've been having a blast with my Fender Blues Junior recently though
