Your welcome. The caulking works pretty good for this. It seals it up real nice plus it can be removed if you want to put on a new flange.

Hi! How do I know if there’s any mold in the wall? :/ I’ve been living in our house for a few years and this plate has been loose the whole time and we haven’t bothered to fix it until now 😞
There are some mold test kits you can get. I was thinking of getting one and trying it out. When I get one I will make a video about it.
@@ThatHobby that will be an awesome video to watch. We wake up tired and stuffy every day. Our room connects to bathroom and we don’t have a door to separate. House is about 20 years old. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re living with a bunch of mold.. ahh!! I’ll look into the test kit. Thank you for that and this video. Went and bought that silicone caulk tube
The wall part on my is all like torn and the shower arm is super loose what can I do for repair
You can unscrew the shower arm and put some teflon tape on the threads do get a good seal. Check it for leaks and if you have a good seal then you can repair the wall. But if the wall is not that bad you can get a new flange to put over shower arm.

@@Jocelynie870 I haven't had to repair mine like that but you can buy a new arm for it. If you have drywall you can cut out the damaged area and put a new piece of drywall in the area. I am not sure how bad it is but that is my best guess on how to repair it.
