Thank you!
This topic is incredibly important. In the past, I have been very demotivated by some clients who tried to manipulate me by creating disputes when I refused to perform additional work for free that was not part of our original agreement.
To fixe this issue, I now include a crucial clause in my contracts. The clause states: "Our prices are clear and transparent. There will be no surprise price increases; the agreed-upon price will remain fixed. However, if additional pages or new functionalities are requested for the website, both the price and the timeline will be adjusted accordingly."
Since implementing this clause, I have had no further problems.
Well done!
I just say 'that additional functionality will add an extra day at my day rate of £x'.
Never had a problem. However, I do come across as being quite brash with my clients. I tell them straight when they are being completely thick and I make no excuses about it. Straight talk with that brashness is one of the reasons, I believe', I have never lost a client and get recommendations.
It always makes me laugh when you tell someone it’s going to cost money.
In what world are people doing more for no money?
Every request takes time and thought…every single one.
Either they pay or you pay.
So I went ahead and bought your package, as a note, it would be nice if the Budget excel had some explanation how the formulas are working, other than that the package is nice, thanks.

Can't we say before the project start, when there is an additional change request will get charged ?
Absolutely yes. That’s what I do.
