- Casey Putsch helps the Genius Garage students get all new brakes on their Guanci prototype project and get the car running like the day it was new. On day two of the video, Casey had to bring his little daughter to work and together they picked up car parts for the students and worked on Casey's Rolls Royce.

Such an incredibly rare and cool car!
This car looks like it was designed by a guy that worked on cars. And made it so it could be serviced without needing four hands and be a contortionist to do something to it.
Its a neat car.
100% I agree
The designer was actually cool enough to message me regarding my comments about it looking like it was a 300zx and a Chevy monza made a baby. He's a great guy for taking the time to share some information
When you go back and look at the original Guanci Automotive literature it clearly states that the goal my Dad had was to build a world class exotic with the reliability and the serviceability of an American brand. So when you see the removable firewall that is a direct extension of that along with the availability of the parts from Autozone. By the way, I remember helping my Dad remove that firewall on a hot summer day when I was 16...not fun but memorable; not easy but very possible (can't say that about European exotics of the era).
True!!
The car sounds and looks amazing. Will you be doing more to it or just restore it to its original form?
Also love the wholesome bit with your kid can't believe she's already 2
Just super detail it and work out the last bugs and fix the fabric
@@CaseyPutsch Great 👍
Any updates on the V12 King Zero?
I too am one of those who love the King Zero (Or in Italian, king is "Re", so since it's Italian origin, ReZero sounds amazing to me), but i think Casey made it very clear that project is going to take years to complete. Hand shaping sheet metal is extremely time consuming, so even small updates are probably not worth filming. Maybe one video a year on the ReZero would be nice.
Casey, spend every minute you can with your daughter. Those little ones change so fast that you don't want to miss one day with them.
You are her model for the man she will be seeking for a life partner. I wear a ring on my little finger to remind myself that my daughter is holding me to a higher standard than my wife does. She will keep you honest! Great show!
This means a lot. Thank you kindly.
Wonderful! I am so enjoying your other recent posts! Great to watch and so much information to absorb! Well done! Keep up the great work!
Thank you and more nice things to come.
I'm loving the videos on this car. It's great to learn something as your students do. Top work 👏
Glad you enjoy it!
Great exhaust note. Loving this content
Glad to hear it!
When you look back at all you did on CZcams, you will most excited to rewatch this episode with your family and friends! Classic!
Thank you. Yes, that’s why I put in the video with my kiddo. Was mostly for me.
Why is this car giving me Gen 2 Delorean vibes.
Awesome teamwork!!! Casey's back!
You know it!
My God what an adorable kid!!
Video approved, good work.
Glad you liked it!
Great video! Looking forward to more content with the Guanci!
P.S. it sounds like something is scraping when you go full right, when backing out at 28:45. Could be the tire against the wheel arch?
Yes, I have seen Duel.
I don't know how to drive automatic either.
Regarding Casey's comment of not having an american mid-engined car before Corvette C8... why does everyone forget Fiero? Steel space frame with a composite body, and a transverse drivetrain relocated to the space behind the cabin... should sound familiar. Guanci does look a bit better, especially for it's Aerovette concept similarities. This Guanci would look fantastic with a set of C4 Salad Shooter wheels or something not so high offset and convex. Flat disc or better yet, concave and staggered width would be great. The Aurora wheels look OK in terms of design style, but the convex wheel sticking out beyond the tire is not as cool looking as the car deserves.
such a unique car. the more i see it the more i like it.
Same!
@@CaseyPutsch really enjoying the content.
She is adorable.
Thanks!
I got sunburnt driving with my windows closed because this heat wave sucks. I am getting 20 percent tint.
Wheels look halfway decent without the hubcaps
Is it based on an Oldsmobile aurora or just the rims?
The whole drivetrain and rear suspension
@@CaseyPutsch nifty thanks for the reply!
Yeah there cool looking cars the issue is the craptastic 90s interior plastics and the Northstar architecture.
Needs manual transmission
The guy with the bun seems kind of effeminate. Also, you should teach or know that to bring the front tires up on the wood, instead of trying to push the car, you should be rolling it on by pushing through the top of the tires. Doubles your pushing force and doesn't slide the chocks.
Hey Casey I sent you a message on Instagram unsure if you've seen it.
Thsvk you
I'll check
