- Hey guys! Welcome to our channel! We got to spend a beautiful weekend in Boothbay Harbor Maine. It was amazing! We got to relax and do a few fun things! We went to Cabbage Island and also did a whale watching tour.

This is my hometown! Tips from a local: if you haven't been to the Botanical Gardens or Ocean Point before, I highly recommend it. The best place for lobster rolls in town is Shannon's Unshelled and the Boathouse Bistro is another great place for dinner. My favorite place for ice cream is the Ice Cream Factory on Pier 1 - lots of unique flavors and generous serving sizes. And if you enjoy hiking there are some great properties held by the Boothbay Region Landtrust - Ovens Mouth is my favorite. I'm glad you love the town!
Aww thank you so much for your great recommendations, i really appreciate it! I really wanted to visit the botanical gardens but didnt have enough time so hopefully next year! We did see that ice cream shop over at pier 1 but had already had ice cream from the other place so we'll have to try it next time. Its a beautiful little town!

Hope you had a great time! We didn't but i wish we did. I think because we did the 2 boat tours it took up a-lot of time and in the late evening we just wanted to rest.
@@HappyTravelVlogs Just got back. If you do return, I recommend getting an Air BnB more inland but still on the water. Just a 5 min drive into town most days. The stargazing was incredible.
