@@ShaneAlan1you are right it is one game but the timberwolves completely shifted their strategy against the suns since the regular season. They put Kat and Gobert on kd and put mcdaniels on Booker. They also bullied the suns in the paint. Game 2 is gonna define what the rest of the series looks like. The suns also don't have a true pg and the wolves took advantage of that. They also had gobert switching out on the perimeter and guarding kd a decent bit as I mentioned before. Regular season matters a bit but I don't think you can judge this series off of regular season. You all need nurkic to show up. He had less rebounds than gobert had offensive rebounds. This series ain't over by any means but the suns got to change something. They can't play iso ball and expect to win.

Anthony Edwards can and will change any game at any time, no matter what the score is. On both ends. Kd and Steph are his closest nba comps, he hits consecutive 3s and tough shots which activates the team D. That leads to run outs and dunks which ignites the arena. But he's way bigger than kd and Steph, and can dominate the paint even against great shot blockers.

Shannon making his points early on dismisses how perfectly the Timberwolves executed their game plan... They SHOULD be worried. You let KD have his, you put your best defender (McDaniels) on Booker, and you absolutely dominate this game. I'm obviously biased as a Timberwolves fan, but as a fan of basketball in general, I saw the best defensive team in the league define their game plan for the series and I'm not sure the Suns can counter. I agree that they still have to come back and repeat that performance, but I'd be shocked if the Timberwolves did not win this series.

Did you not watch the game? Ant got 3 fouls in the first half missed most of the 2nd quarter. KAT did a great job playing big against this Suns team. With Nurkic having to stick to Rudy, the Suns have no one who can gaurd KAT in the post. KD is not a big man and he looks very uncomfortable gaurding KAT in the post. KAT hit a number of shots just playing bully ball. And when the double team came. He made very smart passes. Everyone has labeled him as a playoff choker. The leader is Ant now. KAT doesn't have a huge spotlight on him anymore. He's going to do his thing.

Yeah, Dallas cleaned their act towards the end of the season, but they do have some of the same issues as Suns. ISO ball and lack of defence will get you swept. Don't think Dallas will get swept, but there is a chance Suns will, because they're terribly constructed and it was on display in game 1.
