    Devon Larratt vs Levan Saginashvilli is happening at East vs West 12.
    Is Engin Terzi involved in playing mind games with Levan, or did Levan Saginashvilli's strength shoot out of the roof for his match against Devon Larratt?
    Levan Saginashvilli vs Devon Larratt is happening at East vs West 12 on April 20.
    Levan Saginashvilli lifted 80.5 kg and it looked VERY EASY! I think he could probably lift 90 kg.

    i dont get why people say levan's form is bad cuz of his forearm angle... like yall act like devons forearm is parallel to the floor... look at all his recent lifts... every single one of them with 160+ lbs is with not parallel to the ground forearm... but sure levan's form is bad....

      It’s not that, it’s that he is leveraging his upper arm back over his thigh.

    • @Papaspronator
      @Papaspronator Před 2 měsíci +3

      It has nothing to do with that, his forearm angle is pretty similar to Devons. It’s that his forearm is literally almost on top of his thigh and it makes it a lot easier for sure. Also he is slightly losing his pronator now and its supposed to be a “pronation” lift so when the pronator opens its a failed lift.

    • @d_no_allyn_86
      @d_no_allyn_86 Před 2 měsíci

      It's that he's rocking the back of his arm over the top of his thigh. It helps support the arm more. It makes the lift and bit easier. Yeah Devon is doing a bit of a cheat by raising his forearm angle as well.. but the fact that devon puts the very back of his arm against his inner thigh, pauses, sets himself up, then lifts straight up with only his arm. You don't really see him rock back much at all we the moment of lift off. You don't. Where levan does a bit of a lean back and lat drag. It does make it easier. Though it may only be by a couple percent, I think that's how you can account for the heavier lift by a good margin on levans part. Although, yes levan is stronger, if the argument is who's putting more strain on their muscle, not their bone structure then yes it matters and it is different.

      @Papaspronator right! Exactly what I've been saying. It's there for everyone's eyes to see. Levan has body involvement and Devin really doesn't. He kind of does this little pulse lift with only his arm. If everyone just really pays attention and uses their eyeballs it's very clear to see what he's doing.

    Many people underestimate the sheer size of Levan, look both lifts in comparison, Levan is so big (also his arm) that he cant spread his legs like devon does and cant GO DOWN with his arm like Devon. Just look at the difference, Devon can easily (because he has no belly or big torso) go KILOMETERS down with his arm/elbow, look like almost his whole upperarm (backside) touches his right leg. On the "beauty" side, Devons lift looks very clean and beautiful but I merely think its because of his "skinniness", he has different arm angles like a more tight angle between upperarm and forear (which also makes the lift easier) because he is so small/skinny. I dont know why Devon cupped his wrist back because this way of course you wont see a "counter rotation" against his pronation because its already somewhat supinated.

      Levans lift is full back. Go play 0.5x speed and you will see the moment he starts lifting the weight, he starts leaning back a lot. Devon doesnt move a muscle when he starts liftin, except his arm obv. Why are people so fkn blind, acting like they know something here while missing the obvious. Noobs

      If you open YOUR eyes you will see how big Levan is in comparison to Devon. Devon is just some skinny dude. Because he is such skinny dude he can do a more isolated "pronation lift" even though its called BACKpressure lift (where Levan pullled already 88,5kg one year ago at the pulley system)@@inaworld9850

      what the fuck are you talking about. It's pronation lift! pronation.
      you guys have no idea what you talking about. try lift yourself and learn anatomy of lift. the most and only thing important is for hand to do not open. not one bit. it has to stay in place. are you gona lift it with help of leg it doesn't matter. you can also work simular exercises on table with cable. look in rino mašić pronation training videos.

    Doesn't make any difference because Devon sacrifices his cup anyway to secure kings. Pronation doesn't take pronation it takes cup so who cares? Devons gonna give that away anyway. Show us a 100kg curl and we can all agree it's over. Oh and the form is perfect, Devon fans focused on the wrong detail.

      @@Markondndhdbsjyny how will he take the pronation without cupping more than Devon can roll out? Do you even know how the moves work?? Last time this is how he won, he took Devon's pronator and ripped through his bicep. He'll have to do the same again. I don't think I've seen anyone beat Devon with his pronation secured, ever. Even Levan nearly lost his wrist last time round 1 taking the pronator a bit too close to the pin line.

    What's insane to me is people making a big deal about this lift, levan is bigger, heavier in every way, I would be worried if he couldn't do more than devon, to me it's more impressive the smaller, less heavy guy lifting about the same as levan

      It is not the same lift as Devon. Something is wrong with you people brain!

    • @user-pb7pr3di8m
      @user-pb7pr3di8m Před 2 měsíci

      To be precise, the lifts look not the same, but too give too much attention to it doesnt do justice to the strength both lifts need. Granted Devons lift look like from a sculpture, more isolated, less movements, some would call it even beautiful. Devon does an athetically pleasing "pronation lift" (please dont get me started if its even a PRONATION lift). To understand why it doesnt look the same see my other point, Levan is very big and he cant bring down his elbow to the same level that Devon does (Devon is very skinny in comparison). I wouldnt focus myself too much on one lift, Levan beat Devon last time without any such lift , Devon was using this lift before the first match too, also Levan is generally new to this lift (so he does it ad hoc without much refinement or consideration; imagine Levan training with this lift all day), additionally he usually does REAL pronation lifts + his "backpressure exercises" on the rack or pulley system or his "backpressure exercises / curls" in the gym while standing, so there is nothing new with this "pronation lift" by devon at all except that he does it squated. in the larry wheels video the exercise on the pulley system was called "backpressure exercise". Levan did 88,5 kg (one year ago).
