    How to:
    Remove Airbag Cover from;
    Audi - A1/S1 8x
    A3/RS3 8v
    A4/RS4 B8
    A5/RS5 8T
    A6/RS6 C7
    A7/RS7 G8
    This video is a quick 'How to' guide on separating the Airbag cover from the above Audi models.
    We filmed this while doing a Custom Carbon Fibre Steering wheel installation which included a new Alcantara trimmed airbag cover with gloss black badges and trims.
    It's designed to show the process we used to separate the airbag to enable installation of a custom bespoke airbag cover created by Emporium Customs.

    Amazing video! You made it so easy to follow. I had all of the right tools so that help. One helpful hint. When you are trying to release the rope carrier, use two jewelers flat drivers on both sides to release the tabs at the same time. The whole unit slides right out like a dream.

      That's a great tip, since we made the video, we have adjusted our techniques over time, using similar to you, 2 miniature flat head screw drivers.

      Was it hard doing that the first time or do you think a beginner can do it?

    2:48 nooo you are breaking it! you have to press in the two tabs on the side of the T. You need 3 hands (or a bit of patience :) ), but you can get that out without destroying it.

    Omg why didn’t they design it to be replaced easily from the front without taking anything out

    • @badgerprimeminister

      Horrible isnt it? These are one of the worst as they wedge themselves in and you have to pull from the front and lever the springs from the back! Eat a good breakfast before attempting!
