There is another sir who'll humiliate us if we were late to class. In bengal there are many bihari students they live in remote areas where internet speed is not so fast. That man makes a tantrum out of my friends joining 4-5 minutes late and lectures us wasting 10 more minutes. Such a hypocrite. But then again there are many awesome and good teachers too. I'm glad that you as a teacher understand what I was talking about this is the reason I suspect your students love you. I feel validated! Thanks maam this stuff made my day!
As for the signs, teachers who are very much objective bounded who focus on completing syllabus rather than actually teaching and making it fun, are not really liked by students, unless of course they understand the teacher has a rush and they have nothing to do. But for that teachers need to openly admit they are helpless and they are being forced by the upper bodies. Less the communication gap, the more love you get from us.

Well, I agree that if a teacher is teaching it should be centred around concept clearance and not CZcams videos. Though, most of the teachers try their best to make the classes fun but at times that generation gap and day - day stress gets us.

As a teacher myself, I've never found my students disrespectful. It's because in my classroom:
- they learn the best
- they feel respected
- they feel loved
- when a student does something good, I'll tell everyone about it: other students, the Principal, their parents. However, when the student does something wrong, the only person I'll talk to is the student...
It's simple. We laugh together...we fall together...we rise together
That's it... )))
PS: Our students go through stress, parental expectations, relationship hiccups... At times, all they need is not a ton of advice, but a heart that understands...and that's where the magic begins...because at the end of the day, Love is a boomerang. It comes back...

My dad is a teacher and unfortunately 2/3rd of his students in the class didn't have phone. They used to stay with friends who had smartphone to take the class. Never ever did anyone in these months did anything like this. When they were getting bored,my dad used to crack jokes for 2-3 minutes and after that everything was going very well. On seeing the video, it was utterly ridiculous and disgusting to see students mess up with teachers who just learned to use phone for the sole purpose of talking class online.
The one's with all the amenities and facilities tend to take knowledge, wisdom and skills being imparted into them very lightly. And the ones who really want to study and gain knowledge wud take all the efforts to achieve it. Sadly this kind of behaviour is not prevalent in rural areas cause there the kids want knowledge to excel with whatever means they have to gain it.

Understand the limit between having fun and bullying. Old teachers went an extra mile to teach the students. They learnt how to work via internet, while managing their household chores.
