The snapshot on Indian economy is diverse and really appreciable. But the correlation is sparse. There are several business cycles & all can't be discounted at any one point in time. Yes Indian economy is vulnerable to inflation due to relentless wars & job loss - two sides of despair in India's growth story. The income disparities are not new. When Tatas & Birlas were considered the exemplars of wealth, far more Indians were wallowing in dire poverty.
so have you compared the quantum change in the last 40-50 years? Or are you ok with any kind of income disparity?
respected Madam, 1) you are accurate on the assessment on the Corruption. Its killing, not good 2) On the development, there is visible change we can see. There is major scope of improving the build quality but don't discount everything in one stroke as hype. Something better than nothing 3) What's the alternative? Except for mention of Ambani family marriage, and unrelated instances so far as economy is concerned, i find overall effect of your video positively refreshing and appreciate your effort to differentiate yourself from msm.
As a first time viewer, i humbly mention some 0:12 of suggestions.
1) Please do not divert yourself from the subject you have chosen gor video. Haven't you come across toll collection on the roads that have not yet finished construction, with mile long queues and traffic jams ? Why don't you talk about this loot? Where does the money dedicated in budgets for national highways vanish ? Then toll fees are higher in India than possibly in Europe and USA !!! And for your kind information old Mumbai-Pune highway has also started collecting toll, which was free earlier. In USA and europe Turnpikes and state highways are toll free. Apart from this loot we are paying heavy vehicle taxes on purchase do we are taxed multiple times.
2) Hence, please thoroughly research the subject before making a video and include some visuals/photographs of road conditions.
3) Do your children go to tuition classes ? Are you not paying gst on the tuition fees ? The intended levy was meant to be paid by tuition classes due to high fees they charge and the super normal profits made by thrm. But 9 out of 10 classes pass these fees upon students. Same is the case for Auto and Pharma industry. To add insult to the injury even repairs/service and spare parts come under gst ambit. As a result middle class indians go to roadside garages for auto repairs and scrapyards for the spares. Thus the government is cutting the branch of the tree on which they are sitting.
4) How many smart cities from the targetted 200 have been completed ? What happened to the funds demarcated in the budget for this purpose ?
5) Gst was supposed to subsume multiple taxes, but check your electricity bill for additional levies.
6) Please consider making shorter videos of 7 or 5 minutes duration. I usually skip videos of over 9 minutes unless the subject affects me personally.
Such examples are many and i am thankful to you for talking about it. But please stick to the subject instead of digressing towards other social issues upon which numerous writers have already written a lot. You are an economic expert so stick to your field of expertise.

Abolishing Personal Income tax will ensure higher growth and employment. All sector perform well. End NGO led economy. High inflation, over regulations, policy paralysis, indecision, delay in each and every project, execution all hampered development and basic infrastructure decaying rapidly. Now policing on social media especially Twitter started. My account restricted after criticising Modi and Shah for incompetency on various front not matching with ground reality. Not ready to accept their fault, unwilling for corrective action. This budget also nothing much expected
I like your videos and analyses. But this one needs more depth. It will be great if you can study the government’s infrastructure plans in more detail. I’m sure it can be linked to other issues such as the GST policy

Sucheta - good job; though, do not agree with the inequality part - a topic that makes a good copy, gets the eye balls, the focus IMHO should be on policies that results in investment, wealth, demand, jobs!! The sectors which were the bellwether of solid middle class jobs IT & Financial Services will not be creating as many jobs today was known....
If i talk about free ration, Let me be clear i m from middle class family. My family does not need free ration still my mother was buying it everymonth from gov. And then resell it. I m telling you because after so many conversation with her she finally stop this. And not for me in my society everybody is getting free from gov. My mother's sister and her husbund both are earning good amount of money. They have their house. But still they applied for gov house and they got it. This is not only with my masi but my fua, mama everyone got gov house. So actually people who are at the bottom does not getting anything.
this is dubious at many levels -- unless your family has wrongly declared their income as being below the poverty line you cannot get it. It is not about saying no to rations or taking them wrongly - today ration is available only for a certain ration card that denotes you are below the poverty line. You need to report and fix all of it - before you family and neighbours face a Dr Khedekar kind of expose!
