- In this tutorial I will show you how to make 3 Easy Item Elevators for Minecraft 1.19/1.20 Java Edition! With these elevators you can move your items in no time!
The first design "bubble elevator" works in the Bedrock Edition! The last two elevators are Java Edition only.

4:07 Silent Dropper Elevator - Hry
I didn't know about the dropper design. I was looking for a something for a small build where water felt like overkill and this is great
awesome and fast tutorial, I was looking for a way to move the items upward silently to get them into a vertical sorting machine, love it!
Was nice to have options for worlds where the nether was not being accessed, but now that soul sand generates in ancient cities, I'm not sure why you'd ever use anything but a bubble-vator unless you were really tight on space or something.
Haha that's fair, bubble elevators are the cheapest and the easiest to build after all. The only good thing about dropper elevators is that you can also construct them in the nether.
@@Kmond Ahhh, there you go! Knew I was missing something!
I had a 3x1 space where the water would have hit redstone dust, so water elevator wasn't useful for me
Bubble elevators just feel out of place in redstone to me so I don’t use them
Really? I almost always use the 3rd option: (dropper-vator) because its quiet, cheap, and easy to build. Also you won't risk spilling water all over the redstone if there is any nearby. But yeah I would agree bubble-vator is a great option when not tight on space.
The first design was so simple, but it helped tons for my creative mode vault
amazing design for my hoglin farm in the nether
It does work on bedrock thank you So much. It's perfect for my survival Base 😁
Talk about crazy simple. All 3 of these are great. The first one I've done, the second 2 I needed to see. 👍
tysm this helped a lot :)
Omg I love u so much I've been having lots of problem making the bubble one so thank u so much
If you want the last one it doesn't work on bedrock the way it's built in the video. But if you flip the torch tower, place blocks touching the droppers where torches aren't. Then move the hopper clock down one with a piece of red stone on the on the "locked" hopper. Best I can explain it here sorry. But it's fix able
i wish i read this before building this on my bedrock world. you are a fantastic person
@@1NukeMediaFan no biggie at all. I was building a mega auto super smelter at the time and needed this but couldn't work it out until seeing this video
Homie please explain what you mean by place blocks touching where torches aren’t I’m dying here
@@preco577 I love how this is exactly what I'm trying to build
Worked for my custom super smelter Ty!
I would like to request a droppervator that's not silent but makes the Kmond *pop* sound pls 😎
:D Droppervators went out of style before my time in MC since soul bubblevators were already around haha. Still useful when you can't use water!
Hahaha, that would be funny, at least I wouldn't get any copyright issues doing that because I made that sound myself lol.
So true! nowadays bubble elevators are the way to go, but when you wanna do redstone in the nether that's where the og minecraft knowledge comes in handy 😂
Okay so I figured how to make the last one work on bedrock.
First change, the redstone tower will extend to the space next to the droppers(but it'll still be like- the hole pattern it was before. So between the redstone torches that are next to the droppers, add a block). Next change, behind the droppers, add redstone torches (so on the tower, every even dropper gets 3 torches.)
Last change is on the side of the dropper that doesn't have the tower, on the very bottom add a block next to the dropper and one behind it, then put redstone dust so the bottom dropper can activate. I hope this is helpful!
do you know if there might be a video of this method anywhere? I can't picture it in my head for some reason. or a picture?
on the dropper elevator, I am having items get stuck when the chest if full and items are stuck waiting to go in chest, then you remove all the items in the chest the items in the droppers stay stuck.
with the first one, is there a way i can move where the chest you put the items into? bcz im trying to put it somewhere else and doesn’t seem to work (bedrock) let me know fast someone please ty
great design, is there a way to stack the silent one side to side for like 8 or 9 times ?
I used this for my automatic chicken farm, and then swim up by themselves, so didnt even need the soulsand! Works well, thanks :)
We can do any them at any height right? I want to make it shorter.
Thanks 👍🏻
No problem 👍
Omg please tell me what block you used at 2:30 to make the elevator look that nice. I tried using glass panes but they’re waterlogged. ❤
I used iron bars 😄
just use iron bars or fences, imo fences also look neat if you are low on iron
hi good tutorial btw
Is this capped at 10 high for the second one or can you go higher?
i tested on Java 1.20.4 it went up 64 block fine
I built this bubble elevator in a bedrock world & im losing about half my items by the time they get to the top (-59 to 70) any ideas as to why??
tried the first two on java 1.20 & the second one is definitely capped at 10 blocks high. the water elevator can be built as high as you need it to be. I needed mine at around 22 blocks high, so the first worked for me.
just tested the second on 1.20.4 it went up 64 block fine you probably messed up
@@MariusNinjai k
I made the second one pretty high, my oroblem is that the items get stuck if you fill the chest up and them empty it the items stay stuck@@MariusNinjai
Is there a teaching clip at the 3.00 minute mark?
how come yours doest freeze up, mine wil only take 1 item at atime?
Nice video. Can you change direction with droppers at the top? Thanks
just use hoppers at the top if you are going sideways or down
Are all of them still working for 1.20.2?
nice guide thank you. although i dont think you can open the final chest when there is a block on top of it like that. 2:10
You can if it's a glas block, slab or stairs.
For the third option, can the top dropped point to the side and not just straight up? I haven’t had a chance to test it yet.
The last elevator doesn’t work on bedrock edition so can you explain please? Otherwise thanks
just spent the last hour making the third one (even died) just for it to not work 🤒
Quanzi connectivity
Pretty much restone works 1 block higher then it should. This is mainly for pistons, but it does do stuff for a few other things
In this case, Redstone ticks are slower. On java it works twick as fast. Try replacing the hoppers with observers facing opposite directions. Aka the faces touching
I found a workaround however it doesn't make any sense.
Basically every second dropper does not get activated, to fix it on the "redstone torch tower" where he removes every second block, add a third row of block in front of the torch that is the farthest away from the dropper.
However this will not work for the dropper on the bottom for whatever reason.
This one needs to be fed by a repeater that feeds the block below it.
Just place 2 redstone dust near the torch on the bottom, then dig out one block near the lowest dropper and place a repeater.
One could optimize the observer + dropper elevator by spacing the observers which activate the droppers by 1 ( so for the first dropper no observer attached, the 2ed dropper observer attached, 3rd dropper observer attached, 4th dropper no observer...etc) and keeping the 2ed line of observers that carry the signal up the same. I found that this reduces the sound to the same as the setup using redstone torches and results in a more consistent item transfer compared to the observer setup in the video. Helpful vid, thanks!
no chance for last one to work with odd levels?
Le dropper elevator marche sur PS3.
I can't get the arrows to face the direction you have them
Did you know you can use two observers facing each other to make a clock that’s smaller
tried to move eggs with no 3. They do not end up in the chest but are thrown and chickens run anywhere... anyhow thanks for the demonstrations.
dropper not dispenser
Can anyone help me, i can't place kelp on my soul sand.
Is there anything i'm doing wrong?
I'm pretty sure you can only plant kelp on dirt and maybe sand/gravel/clay. Just temporarily swap out the soul sand for dirt and swap it back once all the water blocks are source blocks.
am i doing something wrong? kelp wont place on soul sand
Place the soul sand after. Do a normal grass block. kelp all the way up, break the kelp, replace the grass block with soul sand. All the water should be source blocks and it should work.
The first one breaks, if buckets are shot out of the dispenser
says DROPPER at begining -then says its a DISPENSER ????? which is it ???????
3rd dosen't work on bedrock no items move.
They have to be observing each other
There’s one more that uses only one dropper and no water with infinite height if anyone wants
Doesn’t work on bedrock
Silent doesn’t work on bedrock and there’s no reason it shouldn’t.. I’m angry
"Bedrock"😂🤣
Thank you(I just wasted 1h 30 minutes of my day)
java >>>>>>>> bedrock
@@huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhn That's arguably false, given they have to nerf awesome bedrock mechanics and add ins just because they CBA to add it to Java. Plus you can't install Java edition on consoles 🤷🏻♀ So much for being better. But does it even matter really?
Not even a single one of these works for me. I have asked for help on 20 different discord servers and no one answers. Redstone sucks.
I died in my Minecraft Hardcore world making this
How
@@mikailmuzfer8379 i hit the ground too hard
Oof
First you say dispenser then you say dropper, make up your mind.
In regards of this specific use, they work the same.
