    Best item elevator design ever! Tried a million of these things and they were not only not silent, but items would get stuck all the time. Great job. Great job 👍

    Eae Cass! Eu tô viciado nesse elevador. Todos os meus circuitos que precisam, eu uso ele. Eu queria te perguntar uma coisa. Existe algum jeito de fazer um "elevador silencioso" só que na horizontal?

      Already got those, but I'm trying add a new feature: variable speed.

    What's the advantage of the rails over dust?

  • @Caddoan

    Built this in 1.17, worked great, now in 1.18 its loud AF. what am i doing wrong?

    • @Caddoan
      @Caddoan Před 2 lety

      NM, i found it, had a comparator instead of a repeater. I'm kinda surprised it mattered...guess it needed that delay.
      Design is rock solid.

    What is the advantage of using rails?

    • @cheemborg1301
      @cheemborg1301 Před 3 lety

      Less redstone per rail but more iron

    • @puttanesca621
      @puttanesca621 Před 3 lety +1

      @@cheemborg1301 Since asking the question I've built some more elevators and I think the rails are more about less interference than redstone dust which can power blocks next to it. Rails can only power rails but also trigger observers.

    • @clc_uzi8890
      @clc_uzi8890 Před 3 lety +2

      redstone dust generally tends to be laggy if you’re using a lot of it. it’ll also power components or blocks next to or touching your elevator which you may not want.
      rails are more expensive but won’t actually interact with anything other than themselves and the observers looking at them.

  • @filipf7983
    @filipf7983 Před 3 lety

    Can't you just use noteblocks instead of redstone? I've built it and works just fine.

      For me it leaves items trapped inside the droppers. What version are you playing ? Any mods ?

    is not silent in 1.16. extremely loud clicking.

    • @janfri0683
      @janfri0683 Před 3 lety +1

      yes it is silent. When I first buit it I placed my hopper output chain besides the last dropper and it was noisy, then I placed the hopper above the last dropper and it became silent. May be it's your case?

    Uhm. We've been using these designs on our server for many years (except for the one with the double rails). I don't know what Techman88 supposedly designed but I'm pretty sure you'll easily find a lot of people on CZcams showing off this low-hanging fruit. :-/ Also, that clock is so 2005. :P
