"Free to play." Once you hit level 20, get your wallet out. It better be fat.
I have been thinking about playing this game for a while.
Great game!
Horrible money sink though.
Star Wars is better
@@richardrodriguez8247 I never pay for in app stuff. i prefer to grind. It's funner.
Honestly, I like this idea. Unlike Doom, Galactus never really screamed like a person who should be the villain for an entire Saga, and he could work for just one movie. A lot of people like to hype them up like he could carry an entire Saga as the villain, but in all honesty, all he does is pretty much just eat planets and look massive. His character and backstory have depth, but him as a villain is pretty one-dimensional. I'd be down to see him as the villain in Secret Wars.
Exactly, he’s just supposed to “be there”. That’s it. Just be there as this Lovecraftian threat.
@@Turtlpwr agreed
Galactus is embarrassing and why comics fatigue is real. Only kids would think anything about him makes any sense. Adults aren't going to pay money to see that crap.
Cook
Watch the Galuctus episodes of avengers assemble, might change your mind
13:21 Mobius the Silver Jet Skier 😂!
Josh Brolin as Galactic lol 😂.
You know I think that would finally fill in the plot for tiamut from eternals having a celestial as the big bad
There werent any big bads in Eternals, Watch it again and tell the class what you've learned
@@seewhativesceneI mean they kinda were since their ideals and ways of life were the main points the Eternals were trying combat throughout the movie
Galactus is not a celestial
@@Scooter323 true but what he does is somewhat similar to what celestials do. Like he eats plants while the celestials terraform plants both are catastrophic
Yo was not expecting the Doctor P- Flying Spaghetti Monster reference. Mad respect
11:47 this part jump scared me because for 1 second I wasn’t paying attention then this music just happened
I really think you should do a breakdown of both the original and newer Secret Wars storylines and connect that material to the direction the mcu is going. I feel like it would give us more clarity and it would be awesome to hear you break down such an amazing set of stories and how they compare.
T-Shirt Idea: Doug and Galactus eating spaghetti like Lady and the Tramp.
Take. My. Money.
Ok this made me laugh out loud
I wanted a faithful version of Galactus but this works. This works great for the MCU. Well done.
I truly believe the ending of Loki s2 is setting up a more serious Thor story/iron man arc where he ends up just saying "no" when thor is about to die on battleworld or to kang or something and revert time back
"The one with the hammer?"
No more original 6 plz, k thx
Doug and Ryan, you had me at the name "Galactus." He and Surfy are my favorite characters in all SciFi fantasy! THANKS for this!!!!
So, Doug, where is the "thomato sauce". Do we eat the spaghatti without it??? Gotta have Tomato sauce.
Thank you for the video! The shock in your face when Doug asked if you made galactus into a smoke cloud like the previous fantastic 4 movie really made my day 😂😂😂 it was so unexpected and that's what made it so funny. Thank you for all the amazing videos that you make!
I don't know how I feel about Galactus and Alioth being two sides of the same coin, but I guess if Marvel really wanted to go that way it could work. A better option would be to say that Alioth is Galactus' pet if they go with his comic accurate origin of being a remnant of the previous universe, making Galactus a man with a pet who were both transformed by the cataclysmic event of the death and rebirth of the multiverse. It would really humanize Galactus and bring focus back that he's a necessary evil that's just doing his job.
There haven’t been many Fantastic 4 theories so I appreciate the endeavor. Tying Alioth to Galactus would be cool but if we are gonna use him to reset everything I’d have it similar to Mark Waid’s History of The Marvel universe where Franklin Richard’s gets told the story of the marvel universe as it’s dying / before it resets.
A new Kang actor narrating all the movies while we watch, up to the last moments of his defeat in the final movie would be pretty cool
Yet another great take. Marvel would benefit by hiring your team for their writers room.
Videos like this makes me wish marvel woukd hire the screen crush team, these theories have been more entertaining than whole movies they put out at this point
Great Job ScreenCrush Team. You guys are on a roll.
I had a preliminary working theory that's similar to this one. But I didn't factor in Galactus role as a Cosmic Force to bring Equilibrium in the Multiverse. Including using a form of Alioth. So much fun when I have a working crafting theory similar to you guys.
I agree MCU Multiverse is only now tapping into the vast potential of it and is so much fun.
Very good video and theory, really nice twist
"What If..." is the show that has the potential to introduce all the Marvel Comic book characters that has not been on the big screen yet...and make new characters!
I can't wait to hear all of Galactus's funny quips and one liners
I like how you described Galactus as a necessary evil and the role he plays in the cosmic order of the universe and how Galactus isn't really an antagonist. However, there's one problem I have with this, Ryan and that's deciding Galactus' origin for the MCU. If Galactus is from the previous universe from the multiversal war destroyed by the Kang variants, then he can't be an indirect creation from Loki's new multiverse from Loki season 2. Since we're reportedly supposed to get a Silver Surfer Special Presentation before the Fantastic Four, Galactus will have to be introduced in the presentation and will probably be the "main antagonist" in the Fantastic Four film.
Man if they replace Kang midway everything would collapse
Colman Domingo is a great actor and he should replace Majors
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes yes I like this a lot.
The way you described Galactus being one entity across the multiverse is very much what the Transformers universe did with Unicron. I know Galactus came first as far as the writing and comic history but if the MCU were to do this, and do it right... it could be amazing.
So does Galactus swing on the Loki Tree's branches like Tarzan or something? If he is created by Loki, then maybe Mobius can be Silver Surfer! How would the MCU's soft reboot affect their "street level" characrers? I'm not too familiar with the comic, but did Daredevil fight in Battleworld or did he die when the universe was destroyed? Would actors truly be interested in playing any new character knowing a reboot is coming? I feel like Disney is trying the fix the mistakes of past by leading us to a reboot, but at the same time putting out new projects that get us excited but ultimately seem to be ether stopped or cancelled after the reboot.
We could even tie this to Loki season 2 ending when we see Renslayer in the end of time facing Alioth. or at least its purple light. she could be the mortal that gets fused with it
I think Galactic IS the incursion. One singular black hole. THE BIG BANG BADDIE. However, he’s actually doing good and is Loki’s Herald. So glad we have a cinematic universe that can and will easily clean and erase bad publicity so we can get back to enjoying our movies.
If MCU recasts Kang, they might bring Rama Tut as villian in Fantastic Four. Galactus may make appearance in the rebooted version of MCU after Secret Wars
The multiverse was ending because the Beyonders used Molecule Man as a bomb in every universe - all set to explode at the same time to end the experiment (all of our reality). Incursions were a side effect when Doom and MM started killing off other MMs to try to slow/stop their plan. I think they only got ahead of the plan when they started gathering MMs and siphoning beyonder power from them, which Doom used to cobble Battleworld together.
Mr. Fantastic would be proud of this stretch. Fun video!
Another great video
I love the subtle spaghetti monster song 😍
I think it’s important to remember that Loki is “only” holding together the branches of the sacred timeline, acting as the temporal loom. The greater multiverse is still isolated, which is why the TVA can’t just go and prune the Kang variants.
It’s all timelines. If it was THE sacred timeline THEN it would be just one branch
@@HeBolieves exactly, which is why I said he’s holding together the branched timelines which branched from the ‘sacred timeline’.
@@HeBolievesit's just one black hole and he's holding all the branches of the sacred timeline keep in mind the council of kangs is somewhere outside of time and space just like the TVA. The new posters even say let's grow together. Branched timelines are different than a universe. Earth 616 & Earth 838 are 2 separate black holes if black holes represent another universe with different principles and different infinity stones.
Maybe the Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars could be the origin of Galactus. The villain’s origin was that he was the survivor of the old multiverse and evolved into a planet destroying being. Introduce him as a supporting hero in Avengers 5. In Avengers 6, he makes a sacrifice and seems dead, but he turns into Galactus. He could even be the villain in Avengers 7 even or Fantastic Four. Maybe Galan could be friends with the Four which makes it personal when they clash
Minor thought here, what if Galactus is devouring worlds just prior to to birth of a new Celestial? What if the Celestials are imposing a cosmic imbalance with their judgements and edicts and he was created to consume them them before they reach critical mass and therefore an existential threat?
Whoever writes the segues for your ads is great at it. Just felt the need to point it out.
Let me guess, you are the one who writes the segues?
Shout out to Doctor P for having his track "Spaghetti Monster" user in this video 😁 teenage classic for me. Wish you let it drop though lol
Some say you never really go into the black hole because time keep dilating more and more the closer centre.
amazing star trek game seriously, if you’re a fan of any of the series’s you’ll love it
Can't wait for the live show!
Okay who evers idea it was to use spaghetti monster for the spaghetti bit is an actual genius
Eternals is still so awesome to me. Watching it in 2 parts helps with the duration. Other than that, I hope the rest of marvel expands off of Eternals (the coolest set of characters).
Great video! I hope this is what happens
Would it not possibly work if Galactus fed on entire time lines instead of worlds? This was gives a few different options of what movie or series they can start to tease galactus, could be a post credit scene in deadpool 3 where deadpool is in the TVA looking at the branches and suddenly we see one just disappear from the screen, then another and another, could cut to Loki sat on his throne looking confused or as if he’s fighting to keep the branches in his grip
What do you think of our theory?
I think you guys usually have very good theories. This one is no different
I love Galactus so I love this theory :) PAVEL!!!! YOU ARE MY FRIEND!!!! :)
Its terrible because it sacrifices the Silver Surfer's origin story which is one of the great Stan Lee / Jack Kirby stories.
@@bseldin I hear you. But people like you and I will always have the trilogy, the Lee/Kirby movie-script graphic novel, and that brilliant-but-flawed 1998 Jesus-in-Space FOX animated series! I want kids to be excited about The Big G!
I have a love/hate relationship with your theories because they’re GREAT, but then the MCU always ends up doing something absolutely terrible
Is there a difference between timelines and universes? I thought that Loki was dealing with timelines and Dr. Strange is dealing with universes, but it feels like the two ideas are being mushed together to suit the MCU storyline.
I would consider a universe eating galactus would be the ultimate form ,like the loki sitting in the tree of life only one of those versions.
Please, Could you Talk About Arcene, Blue Eyes Samurai and other series like that.
I believe Galactus is a rogue Celestial in the MCU. Or a Celestial survivor from the last Multiverse if they want it closer to the old books
I would be absolutely fine with Doom showing up in avengers six and using Ultron to frag Kang right off the bat like he did in 1984 secret wars. They can give us all the backstory and build up later. It would be good to see an explanation of why doom is so scary after he shows up and is scary. Scritch the quadruped for me.
Galactus could be the natural way to keep the timelines safe. Like the TVA but just it’s natural so it’s different.
Just caught the RAD eater egg in the breakdown! Love it! Lol
He said "Trekker." 2:27 🤜🏾🤛🏻
marvel needs screencrush writes as people who write the plot for the movies
This would be amazing. Then for the next saga, I’d love for it to be Avengers Vs. X-Men with Dr. Doom as the big bad pulling all the strings
I like to think that the previous multiverse mentioned in Loki is that of the comics
Superimposing Jet Ski Mobius on top of Silver Surfer footage really got me amped to consider Surfer being a Mobius Variant like you guys propose Alioth being transformed into Galactus 🤯😃
The one issue with universal incursions based on the pile description is that each universe can only collide with the one above or below it, like a concertina. There would be no random collisions. Not that that is important
Yeah but wouldn't they set off a chain reaction in whichever direction. Then once the first incursion happens within a multiverse, that basically means that the end is near because that chain reaction won't stop until everything is gone
Supposedly if you destroy one of the universes before they collide you will save the other.
I could listen to Marvel theories all day
Nice video
Great theory 👌🏾
6:17. The moment shown is when Sinister Strange reveals that he's been killing off Variants of himself. You ever had that dream where you're falling, as if you've been pushed off a tall building? That was probably me. When the third eye appears, the Sanctum's slow destruction by being pulled apart accelerates.
What about the 10 Rings Shang Chi transmitting a beacon. Maybe to alert Galatcus or maybe Silver Surfer
That Mathew line was golden 🤣
This would be so awesome
16:27 I think it would be cooler if Doom does this
12:14 best part 😂😂😂😂
In the comics Galactus isn't multiversal and isn't born from the multiverse ending. He's universal and is born when Galen merges with eternity and then goes forward into the next universe. I don't discount your theory and it would be cool. It was urking me though that you said he's born when the multiverse dies.
"Welcome back, this is Screencrush with Dia Rhea"
Love this theory
It will be exciting to see what comes next in the MCU!
That would mean G is out of time and space, overlooking every Timeline.
He'd be more powerful than comics but I dig it
Doesn't changing Galactus into a Universe eater, instead of a planet eater, defeat the purpose of his heralds whose job is to find a 'suitable' planet for him to 'eat'?
I mean, you could have them 'find' Universes, but then how many stories can involve that? How many universe ending scenarios could occur to our Universe?
It's decent answer to how to fit him into the multiverse saga, but if you extend it out, Galactus would be just a one and done villain, which means we wouldn't see other heralds after the Silver Surfer because it's assumed these multiverse issues couldn't happen that often?
Would it be cool if Eternity made Galactus to stop the incursions, similar to what @ScreenCrush said, but also made Silver Surfer by bringing Christian Bale back to life as the Herald of Galactus/ Silver Surfer?
Any chance they'd show us Galactus feeding on some of the existing hero verses? Like the Sony Maguire universe or the Sony Amazing verses universe. That would be cool to show him in the act.
If they make Galactus into The Black Winter, fans will not be happy
Galactus eating "infected" universes as described fundamentally changes the galactus formula. He is not motivated by pure hunger unless infected universes are just common, while he might need a universe hoping surfer like hunter, there is no reason for a herald role, plus how would any universe tell any other universe he existed? His travel to the edge of a universe to eat is like impossible to pin point. Basically it's far less tangible. Plus if timeline jumping and universe jumping causes Galactus to show up, what do you have to lose trying to solve the problem with more timeline or universe jumping?
in other words galactus is like a man eating the apple of a tree to allow it to grow more
Ooooh…good segue to ads, sir! 🎧
If you think about it then. The incursion in Spider-man by far had to be the worse one possible. Dr. Strange brung in multiple variants from different universes all other incursion involved only two universes. If he didnt stop the incusion, the entire Sony multi-verse would of died.
Can Galactus just be What If Infinite Ultron/Vision? That way it can connect Phase 2, What If and actually have an amazing villain.
So basically, making Galactus the Black Winter from the Thor comic where he became the Herald of Thunder
Ryan you’re wrong, Doom took the power from the Beyonder in the first Secret Wars, not Galactus.
Renslayer +Alioth to become Galactus.
Boom
Holy smokes I haven't heard fly spaghetti monster by Doctor p in so long
This could work but I would rather see him show up at the very end of the next saga for a quick cameo in a post credit scene with Doc Doom as the big bad stealing power from Asgard becoming super powerful like in Marvel Ultimate Alliance and then they can bring him in as a big bad in the following saga
4:21 to be fair, while sharks eating sea life is all fine and good, no one would hesitate to kill a shark if the sharper were about to kill a person. So stopping a universe-eating being is justified. But maybe you’ll get to that.
Im still bent on the God of Stories being the Original Multiverse God slowly dying of old age or exhaustion and finding the right Kang variant to protect a single Universe to await for the next God of Stories variant to sprout the next Multiversal Tree. It just makes so much sense to me. Having Galactus as a pruner makes sense in this concept as well. The Sacred Timeline as a kind of 'Seed' of the Multiverse Tree to birth the true gardener; Loki. Come on, give this idea a chance. A kind of cycle of birth and death and rebirth. "Reincarnation, baby."
I still believe the theory i came up with a few years ago. We have ALREADY seen, at least 1, Galactus. I think Alioth was a Galatcus, the Galactus from the old Fantastic Four movie, "tamed" by Kang.
We need the original planetary Galactus, and he should be like the size of Tiamut with a planet size flying machine for the F4 universe. For 616 universe, a universal Galactus threatening everything then eventually gets killed by Beyonder Doom or Kang
Surely Jaws Was Right will be a t-shirt next week!
no way yall played dubstep Doc P on this ep hahahah
has something out there confirmed galactus is actually happening? I can't find anything to say that, but I don't really know where to look for leaks or insider info.
A bit out there. But I like that incursions draw Galactus. It would have felt wedged in if Big G just happened to show up on Earth right after Thanos and before Kang Dynasty. Too many coincidences.
You just described the plot of Crisis on Infinite Earths and of course I 100% believe Marvel will tell DC’s most famous story 😂
The only issue with this theory is that it saving infinite universes of people instead of just a celestial seed or whatever the current canon is. If he's maintaining universes existing or not you can't really evacuate a dimension like a planet - or find one with power but no sentient life. In your version they're going to die in the incursion anyway so Silver surfer really loses the best part about his character is that he's kind of an unwilling party to his heraldry. If he's not rebelling against his master he isn't norin radd
I don't know much about Galactus, but I always figured the MCU version of him would eat planets that have celestials inside of them. Then there would be someone to keep the celestials in check but a universe eater makes sense too.
Too bad he can’t eat Ego now
With this , why doesnt Loki make whats her name Galactus. The woman who teamed with Miss Minutes for a second
Wait so when Marquise of Death remakes all the celestials galactus and beings such as Eternity and the other two... how does he fit into this?
