This is a great option for mobile devices like phones and tablets. Although it's a bit finicky because the finger press only allows you to do so much. Since purchasing a gaming laptop capable of running capcut it's much easier process to do that fine editing we're looking for.

I have a question regarding adding music. Does the app allow to sync music beats with the timeline cuts/splits?
I used to do this in Premiere by adding markers while playing the music track then Premiere moves the sequence cuts to these markers.
This feature alone ( if available ) can make me start using this app instead of my laptop for my projects.

For sure. Our platform has been FCPX for years and will certainly remain that for heavy editing. But for many applications this is more than enough and better in some cases because of convenience and some of the features.
