We Risuners were thankful for this lovely Bedtime Story stream, Risu! This is a series we haven’t seen in a while! It has been almost five months since the previous session! Seeing it return was nothing short of blissful! Listening to you read those two stories with your soothing voice was like being rapturously lulled to sleep by soft lullabies in the peaceful night, complementing the cozy atmosphere and kindling a warm feeling reminiscent of childhood!
The first story was delightfully lighthearted and wholesome! Little Annie as a character feels like a metaphor for nostalgia as the narrator is reminded of his fond youth whilst guiding her through the circus, giving him happy thoughts amongst a world that can be bleak when you don’t feel joy. The second story feels like one that juxtaposes trust and friendship. Trust is earned but friendship is developed. Although the cat earns the woman’s trust, without a close bond that has developed over time, the family and the animals that have developed close relationships with only have partial faith in him as a friend/family member in the end. Those are just my thoughts that I wanted to share!
