It’s unfortunate a thing that was done to have fun with friends and bragging rights has turned into what it is. I’m all for drivers getting that money but it’s turned into something unrecognizable.

@@dedo7326 I agree it's turned more into been about having lots of money now. Drivers makes millions of dollars every year their selfs. I think the love of racing has left nascar years ago about the time around losing dale Earnhardt. I wasn't a Earnhardt fan but Dale truly loved racing

Just great to see these 2 doing what they love and feel for the sport. Always like to hear what Richard feels about racing these cars old or new. Everyone can learn more about racing just by listening.

In my opinion this is the greatest interview of all time. I doubt it will happen but I dream of the a day I get to meet Richard Petty and Dale Inman. I could sit and listen to these 2 all day.

Always have been a Richard Petty man. I have been right there where you are at a few times. Met Richard twice and Dale once. Corey you guys done a great interview.

Met Richard and Kyle at an auto show in Toronto at the STP booth, the days before Richard wore a cowboy hat everywhere. His signature was like a ship rigging, and the man was gracious and pleasant to everyone. How he treated fans is probably as much as his hallmark as anything he did as a driver. Drivers today could learn a lesson from him.

Richard was my favorite driver for most of my life. I have a lot of respect for the Pettys. Corey, you do an excellent job with Stacking Pennies. I enjoy watching your show. I also enjoy when you are on Sirus XM . Wishing you all the best of luck in getting into Victory Lane. It WILL happen!

Hell of a interview, always enjoy The King and Dale Inmans stories. Miss the Petty Enterprise days.

  • @brandonpennington1983

I have to say that Jimmie went through NASCAR changing rules and cars and spoilers and engines like crazy. I'm sure Richard was in on making the rules and Dale did it when thing were pretty steady.

Thank you Dale for saying they didnt outlaw the winged cars . They made them run a motor that wouldnt pull it . Richard Brooks did pretty good in 71 Daytona 500 running a 305 keith black engine powered Dodge Daytona running with the field powered by big inch cars . Until lap 98 when he got out of shape and was struck by Pete Hamilton .

Petty is the only true 7 time STOCK car champion. The other 2 7x champions weren't nowhere near being stock or even looking stock. Petty did it without spotters, on bias ply tires, & no power steering. I bet today's drivers couldn't complete 500 laps at Bristol or Martinsville
