Honestly. It's not like there haven't been songs with lyrics degrading women or something along the same line as "I know you want it" (from both male and female artists) since blurred line. It was what came out after the song controversy - his behaviours on set, his addictions, his cheating and unfaithfulness and so on - that ruined him. So basically he was the one who ruined himself.

My children's father treated me exactly this way. He has court visitation every Sunday. My girls cry and beg me not to take them but unfortunately, I will get in trouble. The same happened to me growing up. It's really sad to see your kids act this way with who is supposed to be an adult they want to feel comfortable with and the parent to love them.

I hope her son is doing better now. My children still have trauma and its been a long road to get them to where they are atm. It breaks my heart. There's definitely something wrong if a child is like this and wants to avoid the parent so strongly.

Yeah the songs have two completely different meanings and also surprisingly enough the WAP video didn’t feature topless women so that’s why Blurred Lines was censored. Blurred Lines is about taking advantage of women and being cocky saying “I know you want it”, WAP is a song about women owning their own sexuality in the way many men do in rap songs but suddenly when a women does it, it’s explicit.
