I should point out that a really good way to get your hand more use to not fat fingering is add rubber/textured keycaps like every other key. I had to do that with my weird key bindings and it has helped SOOOOOO much. Personally I have my weapons on C,V and B. toggle crouch on N, inspect on M and Alt interact on H, Map on 1, white heals on 2, cells on 3, heals wheel on 4 and emote on 5. Also, have nade/melee/batt/med kit on mouse. Have textured/rubber keycaps on C, B and H. This way my thumb (with my little hands) can reach out and operate the real meat and potatoes of things I need in game all the time. It took some time to get use to. But, it really seems to have paid off for me. I highly recommend giving this layout a try. Coming from Roller your thumbs are more than likely very accurate and should be able to handle operating more than JUST the spacebar to jump.
Looking good out there ma'dude. Keep up the great work and fabulous content.
Wanted to thank you again for that coaching session. My game play feels like its getting much better. Can't wait to schedule my next on. Gonna set my buddy up with a 1v1 with you soon too.
I purposely bought similar looking but slightly taller keys to put on my WASD, R, V, and a couple others- so I can find them without ever looking down or being unsure.
Pretty rare and cool seeing someone who’s so good on controller switch to key board and mouse
i started about a week and a half ago. I feel so much better, and its really made the game a lot more refreshing and something i enjoy grinding.
Welcome to M&K land District! Lifelong M&K player here, It's been a long, uphill battle to git gud in Apex Legends but still grinding whenever possible and having a blast.
Respect🔥
You got this dawg
Can you Maybe so a progress video for the Switch from roller to mnk?
If you get problems with tracking enemies with the mouse, you could think about getting another mouse pad. It did worlds for me. I had a casual clothpad from Amazon and swapped to a glass mouse pad. Just have that in mind. Obv there are good clothpads too. Enjoy the learning ✌🏻
I personally moved to MnK a month ago and I love it!
What i really like to do in every shooter is binding my weapons to the mouse buttons and crouch on „C“ or „V“ on qwertz kedboard layout cause i think on qwerty „V“ is on a different spot
You need to devide the actions, like one step of tap strafing at time, this is how you can build a memory, and for everything you struggle with, with sensitivity you don't want to to move your wrist too much rather you arm, plenty of videos on CZcams can explain things like the 180 rule and having thump and pinky touching the mats for better control, and DON'T over-rely on mice side buttons, its bad for fingers, always find the best keybind combination from the start and really give it some thought, I use both the caps key and tap for backpack so I don't miss it, and tilt the keyboard to the right or left a little bit instead of having it symmetrical, and AIM LAB is goated.
Recoil control on controller is harder but isnt necessary to be good at in 90% of situations cuz of recoil smoothing + AA. Good to see you finally acknowledge the level of "ease" for MnK movement + aim tracking.
Im good at movement but I can’t apply it into my gameplay like wall bounces any tips
You are already so good at mouse and keyboard.
Respawn hates having a happy player base 😂
Good luck
Yo district can u do the finals console settings please?
FYI there’s a new guide to setup tapstrafe on controller for s20 it’s still possible
I would try Azeron, using a conventional keyboard has always been an issue. It looks weird but it was helpful
My dawg! We played like 10 games together and I was basically interviewing you while you were coaching me, I asked you about this. I’m glad to see you swapped ✅ enjoy the fun!
What sensitivity put on mnk, i have no problem with movement but my aim sucks
Do you take cbd?
Get a Razer Tartarus. Can use thumbstick for movement and still have that sweet mouse aiming. Coming from controller it was an easy transition
I have the same problem with MnK lol movement feels so stiff because I’m not used to it. It’s good to see even good players struggle with the switch. 😂 I’m currently learning MnK and it’s been kickin my ass.
First trick is to get good ones, figure out if you're a claw or palm so you have a mouse that doesn't hold your hand in an uncomfortable position.
Go razor so that you can get a hyperpulling Mouse and run it on 8K so you're not getting any stutter delay in your movement and you don't have a chord pulling on your mouse.
And then get a laser keyboard, ROG or razor make the best, and try .74 to .77 mm, I found them the best response time versus not over responding.
And then if your master rank on controller start at 3200 DPI and just get used to it, if you're not master rank start with 1800 DPI and keep pushing it up towards 2800 DPI as fast as you can and ultimately aim for a 3200
My biggest mistake when I swapped to PC/MnK was focusing too much on my mouse hand and neglecting my keyboard hand.
Oh wow
i play 2500x 2000y dpi with like a 1.2 or so in game sense. sounds like a lot of people would say thats high lol ads is like a .4 or so. but any lower and i just have to move the mouse so much and would feel so sluggish
You need to do rookie to masters on mnk live on stream
i feel the small hands
20 years? Wasn't apex released in 2019?
He’s talking about other games he played roller on
I've been gaming in controller for 20 years
Bros mustache is 🤩🤩🤩
He got that 70s porn stache
D riding
Btw for sens i recommend you to change individual sens multiplier so you can set a individual sense for all the scopes
It us really needed for sinpers because you sensitivity might be too high for micro adjustment and it might also be too low for target acquisition.
After that if you can one clip a random strafe crouching dummy using hcog r-99 with blue mag you can try mouse acceleration not the in-game accel but an software called rawaccel
Disclaimer it might help or it might be a weakness too if you don't input your comfortable settings.
I have 1789kills and 1051hrs and i am an horizon main
I have strong aim and medicore movement (having difficulties in implementing it in fights) and down horrendous gamesense so pls suggest me some tips. Too @TheRealDistrict
Having played with MK for 18 years, I always found it strange to play multiplayer fps with control, for me it doesn't make sense. Playing on PC has always been more comfortable for me MK
I don't know what keyboard you are using but if you have a smaller hands I would recommend 60% keyboard the keys are closer so it might be easier.
I will say I can see how it would be harder for someone who hasn't but it's like a controller if you have played shooters on controller before it will be way easier.
I havnt played any fps game with a controller since i bought my first pc 8 years mnk only 😎
Ppl who put apple sauce on sharks
👇
Do some ranked gameplay
Also do a kick flip
Brother, i was on 4000 dpi because of work
I use both lol
Does faide use Max DPI ?
it's subjective, different mice have different "max" dpi. Faide uses 1600 DPI and 0.85 ingame sens. You can get the same sens with 800 DPI and 1.7 ingame.
1600 dpi 0.8 sens
Turn off enhanced pointer precision in pc mouse settings
his aim and gameplay looks really odd now im used to him abusing aimassist lmfao give him another week or so keep up the grind
try to to slide+jump land on a consecutive bunny hops aim with the scope and shoot while B-hopping. do all this in a keyboard+mouse =) have a nice day XDDDDD
If you’re going to actually start mouse should really play aim labs or kovacks and practice what u lack in, you’ll notice a difference within a few days. 20-60mins depends on you obv.
I have a lot of f*cking teammates who are not engaging even though I let them know that we're pushing in this squad.
Most people's biggest issue is waiting
Never rely on randoms you can’t force them to join you so just pick your battles I can’t make pred personally but I’ve made it to masters the last 4 seasons when I first started playing so pick your battles
Tracking is my problem, even after 500+ hours in Apex I can't track enemy up close.. That's probably just me.
Not a Diss to you whatsoever but 500 hours isn't that much, especially when you take into consideration how much of that time is spent in the range, previous fps experience and whether or not you're focusing on using certain weapons or just trying to use everything. Sounds corny but I downloaded aimlabs and it helped a TON, just go through their aim training playlist before you jump on apex :)
My hands are huge so i was basically built to play pc
I play on 1600dpi and 0.8 to 0.9 sensitivity.
havent watched the video yet but i guarantee its gonna be him crying again from movement being removed.
You want to start with your DPI on 3200 or 3800.
You're going to hurt your wrist playing on a DPI that low, your muscle memory will develop to where the higher DPI is as easy to control as 800.
This is more so because you're going from not moving your wrist much at all on a controller to constantly moving it.
I would also pick up a laser keyboard if you haven't already, 0.77 mm works great with Apex on any move you want to pull off.
Actually lower dpi and sensitivity means less use of the wrist and more use of the entire arm. Wrist Aimers use high sensitivity and arm aimers use low sensitivity
Such horrible advice 3200 DPI, why wtf. Start at 800 and up your sensitivity in game. Unnecessary to be at such high DPI
district got w rizz
Day 27 of asking district to 1v1
Top comment too
Dey play...... Keep playing bruhv....... You're still gonna get your ass whooped anyway....why so desperate to lose....... Common bro.......💀💀💔💔
So you can have an edge while he's learning M&K? Give him more time to master it 😜
@@suleimanibrahim6250stop slobbering😂
Leave him alone guys shut up he just wants to 1v1
.
XD mouse and keyboard having easier recoil while aim assist exists. That one was funny ngl
First
Skill issue , still slamming kids on my roller
Please shout me out first!
Lol bro can't use movement crutches anymore so decides to switch to a "superior input" 😂😂
Damn, that was painful to watch lol. Go back to controller
Who am i gun watch now😢
I play violin so even though transitioning to MnK was difficult at first, it's definitely becoming more natural quickly. Got about 100h now and my movement is way better than on controller. Admittedly I played on Switch....
