Having on auto sprint has literally changed my gameplay DRASTICALLY. Having that and hold to crouch on have made my gameplay SO much better and are my biggest pieces of advice

Ngl I watched one of your movement videos before and literally being conscious about holstering my gun has improved my gameplay a ton. Moving so much more confidently now.
10:10 for MnK players though: start using 1 and 2 or specific key binds to Select the weapon slots intentionally and unbind mouse wheel from weapon swap.
You cannot be scrolling and CYCLING THROUGH when it takes milliseconds to get your shield ripped off.

I personally use my side two buttons on my mouse closest to where my thumb is for my primary and secondary guns and 3 & 4 on my keyboard for unholstering and the ordnance menu, so the gun related buttons are on my mouse and everything else is on my keyboard. Just less buttons placements to remember on the keyboard :)
@@Greenmushroom82I also use Mouse 4 for cycling weapons and just use 3 for holstering. Allowed me to free Scroll Up for easier walljumps and Scroll Down for tap strafes

This is a great vid well done
This is a huge concept that some people dont understand even aside from just like movement techs but just how you play, do you shield swap to a lower shield instead of healing on cells, do you know what you need from boxes tp loot quick, do you know how to keep your inventory in check while moving so that you can loot without swapping. Even when i play ballistic, or lifeline, or another typically slower character (not movement based) i am the first one on the team ready to get into the next fight. Moving fast is key to performing better. Paying attention to things like this then adding movement later will put you leavues above so many other players. Know where you want to be late in the game early on and pay attention to the time you have to get there by avoiding fights that hinder that progress.

Up to a certain point at least, movement is more important than aim in my opinion. At a certain point they begin to even out in terms of importance, but your ability to avoid damage in a heated engagement will give you more survivability and more opportunity to take shots at the enemy.

Started doing this today. Went from 1-2 kill games with 500-1k damage to getting 6-8 kill games with over 2k damage! Really useful and helped a lot 😭 I do have one question, how do you do those sort of rounded slides? Like you’ll jump around a corner. Not sure how to accomplish this on controller
Ill add one tip. Ive done a lot of testing w best layout for controller and what i came to is this - i call it oxide method cause its my nickname. You put lb on loot you put LS on heals and RS on wep swap. Now you dont take hands off the sticks to swap weps. So if you have two paddles they are crouch and jump with crouch on the right one because it allows for easier turning and sliding. Ill be honest i havent found a better more intuitive layout than what ive come up with.

Hi District! Good evening I have a quick question. Why am I no longer mantleing automatically from a spring slide jump into wall recently? I used to be able to slide and jump into any wall and mantle automatically enabling me to wall jump. The last couple weeks this has happened. Am I tripping or was it patched ? 🙏🏻great content as always brother.

I struggle a lot with dead sliding and losing gun fights because I get beamed by the time I get a few shots off. Thanks for the video!
great video, the slide isn’t 3 seconds it has the best + safest chance of not dead sliding at around 1.8seconds, but counting 2 seconds after you slide is something you should probably have in your muscle memory

At4:00 when you come out of that slide you can bhop to keep your momentum going and you can pull out your gun to shoot
Its got to do with your internet to, are your lines copper or fiber, is your modem one of the most up to date.
That instant swap ks a great tip that i didnt know before, will definetely implement this, it seems too easy and useful to not do it

I think you made an error at 5:42. It says swap before on both split sides when I think you mean to say swap after on the right. Also this was a huge tip, never knew about this holster slide jump tech.

Holy Moly that instant slide tip is gonna revolutionize my game. Did not know about the three step minimum while weapon is drawn. Explains so much about why I've been unable to do some of the stuff I've practiced.

Still push up or play more defensively still a chance open up then how will you go about that? If you can’t answer that, it’s fine i will understand
You should still be pushing up however you need to play more cover, as soon as you see multiple people pushing up back away and try to get 1 person off of their team and go for a pick, rinse and repeat to win the 1 v 3

Been playing on a basic PS5 controller for time now, I feel like I’m a decent player just struggle to pull stuff off in game and I play claw so I always have my thumb free and I play tactical with L1 as my jump
I should have mentioned unless you play claw you'll struggle more on a default. But that's crazy u play claw! Keep up the work I know you'll get it down.

Super helpful espesh with the xbox controller on the screen although the clicks from your MnK is deafening. Ive only ever played on xbox and am not the best by a longshot but do ppl use mnk but it comes up as a controller in game? If so i think im discovering why im a beam bag.
He has a custom controller that has “mouse click” buttons. Basically they’re insta click buttons. No travel time = less input delay = faster reaction time

As a lifelong console player
I had an apex phase around season 4 up until maggie came out and i quit cold turkey. Peak rank was plat on ps4.
Just downloaded the game again but im on pc now and holy fuck. The combination of being on a new platform and all the changes thats happened since maggie is so overwhelming.
Being a fresh pc player i cant even shoot my gun at anyone not standing still 2 feet in front of me.
Question.
Is all the cool movement tech worth it or should i just keep using my controller?

no lmao, just make your controls so you dont have to take your hands away. i have back buttons (L2/LT all that) on slide and crouch and then my bumpers on look and shoot

Whenever you get a kill your gun evolves, so when you're in the firiging range and killing dummies it will evolve
