This really helped alot. Trying to get myself together to open an Etsy sticker shop. I feel like Im in school again! Researching like cray cray! Also LOVE Katnip & She Meets City!!!!!!
wishing all the best to you and your Etsy shop!
This was so amazing! Thank you. My first set of stickers came out perfect because of this tutorial. I can't thank you enough for putting this out.
This video is so great! I love seeing how you worked around the cricut settings to get both types of cuts ☺️
Thank you SO much! This is by far the BEST video I have seen for setting up and cutting sticker sheets.
Same here I love the feel and ease of traditional media.
I have been seeing lots of videos, none of them were as explicit, detailed and well explain as yours. I intent to re-open my Etsy Shop again selling Stickers with my artwork.
I will try to put all the knowledge that you have shared with us, and hopefully I will get my FIRST ever Sticker Sheet using my own illustrations.
Thanks a million for your time.
Sending you Hugs of Light.
That 4 layer of the background is genius! Never would have thought of that thanks for sharing
I saw your video for Online Labels and it helped so much. Then I found this video and it changed everything! My work-around for sticker sheets was not reliable - sometimes it still wouldn't cut all the way through. This process worked like a charm. Thank you so much for taking the time to make and post these videos. You saved my sanity!!!
An Angel sent from above!!! Thank you a detailed and very informative tutorial, blessings!!!!!
super helpful! I was worried I needed to get "the other machine." Thank you!
the patience to make this video is awesome , thanks for this !
Thank you so much. I subscribed! I am a 50 year old artist who had a career in tech and the cricut still baffles me. This helped clear things up. 😀
Thank you for the tutorial! Very helpful, helped me figure out how to cut out the actual sticker sheet! I do have one suggestion for anyone who might need it. Instead of having to use guides to figure out what coordinates to set the actual stickers to in design space, just put your own "registration marks" at the corners of your sticker file before you save your images. (just make sure they're small and don't overlap your rectangle for your sheet) then your sheet file and your sticker file will end up the exact same size when you resize them in design space but there'll be just the right amount of transparent space on your sticker image so that your stickers will end up exactly where they should be when you "align centre" them together in design space over your sheet image without having to figure out coordinates
This is so helpful, I've seen a few videos on this but this is one of the best for detail! Your designs are beautiful ❤️
You saved my life today girl!!!! I’m so glad I found you!
This is a very informative video and your hard work is appreciated. I just strongly dislike that this is how things have to be done. I really wish Cricut software would adapt to our needs and make things easier instead of harder for us. We shouldn't have to take this many steps to do one simple thing, am I the only one who feels this way? The machine cuts so beautifully but the software is honestly trash. They are only JUST now letting us print offline (even though it's still in beta). Sorry to rant in your comments it's just very frustrating to have to search and search like this for solutions. Will be trying out this method soon.
this is honestly one of the reasons I ended up choosing a silhouette over the cricut - before deciding on either machine, I tested out the cricut design space vs silhouette studio and just found that the cricut program was so much more limiting .. most of what she does in photoshop here can be done in silhouette studio
but i guess cricut has it's advantages for those who want something super user friendly and more intuitive, and it seems like there are more resources available for cricut in general
i agree with you - i prefer silhouette design space
Super helpful. Thank you for showing each step very clearly.
This is the best tutorial on how to create sticker sheets using Photoshop and Cricut that I have found. THANK YOU! It's been so frustrating :)
I agree! Same
This was complex, but with good explanation. I’ve never made stickers before, so I got several good tips to help me good started. Thank you
Thank you so much for making this video ! I'll be trying it out ! This is the first video I found on how to make the little title banner on a sticker sheet . 🥰
It's interesting to see different technique used for the cricut machine! I learned new methods so thank you! I will apply that to my stickers as well :)
Really helped me so much! I came to learn one thing and learned way more that will help me make my stickers
Your videos are super helpful~ Thank you for walking us through the process step by step. You've inspired me to start learning how to make my own stickers as well 😊 Btw your designs are adorable!
thank you!
wow even though I use my Cricut for a while now, there where a few new and really helpful things for me to learn as well! hope my workflow will get a bit better now :)
Glad it was helpful! ☺️
This helped SOOOO MUCH! Thank you so much for clarifying a lot of things. I use Photoshop a lot, and the way you think is so similar to how I do, and I have been wrestling with my cricut for a year now.. Anyway. Thank you so much for this video, it really REALLY helped.
This is genuinely so helpful you don’t understand. You made this sooooo simple and you explained really well thank you🤩🥳🥰🥰😍😍😍😍
yay! glad it helped ❤️
I've been using Photoshop forever and I actually learned so many things (that I never even knew Photoshop could do) and I'm exited to start using them! I always thought I did things the long way 😅. Thanks!
YAY glad you picked up something from this video!
So crazy how I missed the comment from She meets City comment for how to cut out the backing as a DIE cut! I'm so excited for this! I was worrying what all will have to be squared. I will try this when I get home 🏠 Great tutorial 💪🏾
thank you! ❤️
Your videos are super helpful and your stickers are adorable! Keep up the great content 😀
thank you! ❤️
thank you so much for the in depth tutorial 🥺
The sticker sheets look awesome!
Also that font you’re using is super cute!
hehe thank you!
Thank you I was about to give up, everytime I tried it would cut all the way and it was a hassle trying to peel the sticker paper but now it's so much easier!
This video was super duper helpful! I basically did the whole process and got everything right on the first try... but the only thing now is that my photos keep printing out grainy. I don't know if this is due to the resizing after using procreate. I'm also using white matte sticker paper and feel like that maybe the other issue. Or if it's just my printer in general. So many unknowns, but hopefully I can figure it out soon so I can set up my shop. Thanks for all fo your help!
Thanks . It was really helpful
keep doing what you love!
This is really amazing Susan!!! You are very very talented! So thankful that so spent so much time for this tutorial! Your PS skill is soooooo good :) It will be so amazing if you can do more tutorial on PS, procreate and cricut :)
Thank you! I will be sure to do more videos on that :)
I learn to make stickers thanks to you!!! 😉☺️
is the method of duplicating your background layer 4-5 so that it basically does a kiss cut 4-5 times (around each layer) and therefore cuts deep enough to cut through the paper?
I enjoyed your video. First time watching!
thank you for watching!
This was amazing! Thank you!
This was so helpful, thank you 😊
This was sooo helpful thank you so much. I’ve been looking for someone to teach us how to make stickers! Not so much the designing part but after.. editing in PS or Illustrator..I’ve got both and I’m still learning but seriously this was fantastic.. I use procreate and Illustrator and another app to design my stickers/designs and I think I’ll give photo shop a good too lol the more experience with all the programs the better lmao anyways thanks again :) new subby and thumbs up for sure! I’ll check out more videos from you as well 😍💕
Super awesome video for this. It's so helpful. This is the first time i'm using the Cricut machine and the desktop app for mac. The instructions totally apply. The only thing i need some practice on is how to unpeel the sticker sheet off the mat. The ones i did turned out a lil crinkled, but still good! :D Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such clear and concise details.
thank you for watching! glad it helped you 💕
This is a unbelievably helpful, thank u so so so much
glad it was able to help you! 💕
Thank you this was so helpful 💕
tHANKs for showing us how to make stickers!
Luv this video. Comprehensive and very well produced. Time to dust off my Cricut!
Thank you! love to see what you're gonna create ☺️
Super helpful, thank you ❤️
sooo informative, thank you!
In the same window that you create your file in Photoshop, instead of hitting create after you have your configured the settings, you want you can hit the icon next to the file name and create a saved preset template. This will be list that saved template under the 'Saved" menu option. It's convenient if you are using the same sized document for creating sticker sheets all the time.
Watery Wishes this is so genius, thank you! ❤️
also if you are moving a layer, you can hold down shift after you have started to move it in the direction you want, it will lock the axis so it stays aligned. This saves having to zoom in and check alignment.
It is so cute
So helpful! Thank you!!
this was really helpfull thank sooo much
Great tutorial
I loved your video,so informative. Would you be able to do a video on how to take your designs from procreate and how you complete it on Photoshop.I would love to see the process, subscribed.
Thank you so much for sharing😄
I like you.
Very good, high quality, valuable, well communcicated content.
Peace from UK.
Thank you so much
Oh my gosh, this is what I keep trying to do and failing at. Liked & subscribed. Wish me luck :)
YOU LIFE SAVER!!!!!!
I just impulsively bought a cricut joy 😳
I hope all goes well and I can make stickers
Thank you for the video
I needed this video
This looks so much better than the Silhouette Portrait. I had one of those and gave it away in frustration. It would never cut the same twice even if the settings were the same each time. I think a Cricut would be so much better and less frustrating.
when I was deciding on whether to purchase the silhouette or the cricut, I saw a lot of people say the silhouette is not really beginner friendly ☹️ that's why I ultimately chose the cricut and its been great!
Awesome!!
Thank you!
Hi, thank you for you video... can you help with wiich printer do you recomend to both printable print iron on labels + waterproof/dishwasher safe labels ? Print and then cut kiss cut with cricut technic
Hello! Amazing tutorial. Do you mind me asking what dimension size did you use in procreate to create the sticker?
This was very helpful. Do you have to use photo shop? This worked out great for my first sticker sheet!
Thanks!
This was fantastic! I found yours through a Katnipp video as well lol but quick question. Do you have a video of if you're doing words for a sticker sheet? Is it better to make a white outline for those as well? Like if you wanted a whole sheet to say weekend in a fun font.
This was helpful cuz I've been struggling to cut a full size sheet of stickers TvT. Also, idk if you know about it, but Cricut sells different types of mats with different grips. I have both the standard grip one which is green, and the light grip one which is blue. The lighter one is nice because it sticks just enough to keep the sheet on but also not get stuck and tear the paper when you take off your sheets. But it's worth checking out! :)
I also have the blue light grip one! It is really nice :)
I love this tutorial. Will this work if I wanted to fit 4 smaller sticker sheets onto one page rather than 2?😊💕
Thanks for sharing. This video was very helpful. :)
absolutely! thank you for watching
Have you tried using the weather proof matt sticker paper of online labels? it feels like butter!
THANK YOUU!
Love the photoshop part. I am so new to photoshop and forever struggling
LOL honestly I am still learning as I go even though i've been doing it for years xD
Hi Sussan :) I tried to follow as much as I could but got lost lol a great video though, thank you for sharing. Can you please do a video step by step if you can, been struggling and this is truly the only video that I came across with photoshop and cricut. I would so so appreciate it, I'm still new with photoshop so maybe that is why i am struggling. Thank you in advance :)
I love your font! How did you get it?
I wonder if we have the same iPad...yours looks like mine with the grey carry case and the paperlike screen protector lol. That's trippy!
Thank you so much. Cricut software makes me want to tear my hair out. This is amazingly helpful!
glad this helped you! ❤️
This was extremely detailed and helpful - thank you SO much for sharing your knowlege!
Ty Susan for sharing. Do you only use the cricut design space only online?
Ilysm you need more subs
aaaaaaah you're so sweet ily!!
What is your setting for the sticky note? I use the exact same sticker sheets and the cuts come out a bit harsh.
this was SO helpful! for some reason though, when i do this my sticker sheet on the right hand side always cuts a little off...even though all the settings are right. do you maybe know what could be causing this??
hmm have you tried calibrating the machine? sometimes the machine is weird
Thank you for the video! It was very detailed and easy to follow. I have a question - do you ever have trouble with your Cricut not cutting accurately? I have calibrated my Cricut twice, and the cutlines are not very accurate when cutting smaller planner type stickers. The first stickers it cuts are fine, but by the end of the second sheet they’re off and even cutting into the sticker design. My white outlines are plenty big enough, so I’m not sure what to do! Any tips would be appreciated!
yes, it was happening to me before but a recommendation from a viewer was to calibrate it slightly off and that worked very well for me!
@@PaperuStudio I am having this problem also, just on the 'second' set...what does it mean to calibrate 'slightly off'? I've calibrated the machine but that doesn't seem to help...I waited on the phone w/ cricut for 3 hours today and then the line hung up on me. ack!
This video is great! Still trying to figure out how the sticky note setting is cutting the edges die cut all the way through but the individual stickers kisscut? Can anyone explainnn
Hi, it's because the background of the sticker sheet was duplicated. There are 5 copies of the background, all layered on top of each other, so the Cricut cuts it 5 times creating a die cut. Hope this helps! :)
i think I missed it, but how did you get the cricut to cut out the actual sheet as well?
How did you get the rectangle to cut all the way through but then the actual stickers still attached to the sticky backing?
hi theree,I wanna ask what kind of ink do you use to print your sticker?and is there any other specific settings to print sticker using the canon pixma?really appreciate if u could response to this question😁
What setting on thr cricut should it be set to?
If you don’t mind me asking you can we also do things on canva that you you do in photoshop as I don’t have the subscription for the photoshop
Thank you for this video!! I was wondering if you’ve ever made transparent stickers?? I’m trying to figure out how to create the cut line for them without the white trim being printed!
Hali S I know Jenny journals has a really good video about it
Printers don't have white ink, so nothing will be printed. :)
Hey, this was a great tutorial!
Can you tell me what "kiss cut" means?
Hi Susan! Thank you so much for this video! It was exactly what I needed and you explained everything so well!! Thank you! The only thing is that I'm having some difficulties when I try to make the curved edges.... My photoshop doesn't let me to stroke the path, that you mention in your video... I think I must be doing something wrong...! 😬
it does that to me sometimes! What I do when that happens is:
1. Check to see whether or not the stroke is on brush. you can do this by right-clicking the path and click "stroke path..." if it the tool option is not on brush, change it to brush.
2. If it still doesn't work, Click on the brush tool and then select the hard round brush and adjust the size. Then the stroke option comes back up.
Maybe try that and see if it works :)
you can also try to use the "hard round" brush instead of the "hard round pressure size" brush because the pressure sized one has special effects on it :)
@@PaperuStudio Thank you! I'll give it a try 😉
Omg same here I’m gonna fucking kill myself. I see that she “deleted path” at one point but didn’t acknowledge it so idk of that’s supposed to be done. So bloody frustrated.
does anyone have any advice in storing your prints?? like how to stay flat??
Hi is it possibile to make apple logo sticker by copying from internet and past it?
Wow! thank you for tips of cutting in circuit, I been having an issue when I cut my planner sticker.
Very helpful! But, a question... Does doing this make your blue header a sticker and cut it accordingly? Is there away to JUST print the header and when you run it through the Cricut, it only cuts the stickers?
