Making holographic stickers with your Cricut maker, or Explore is very easy! Using as much of your printable space is something I like to be sure everyone knows about as well. Cricut Print then cut sizing is very small and can be frustrating. Print and cut reading registration lines can also be a frustration for Cricut machine users
I am going to show you how to fill up as much of your material as possible when using print then cut, how to make sure your cuts have gone though and if not how to do a double cut. With Print and cut your possibilities are endless for creativity

Oh how super cute!! I love those images and the holographic laminate sheet really adds that holiday flair!! Thank you so much for this awesome video!!
🧁🎄🧁☃️🧁🎅🧁🦌🧁
I absolutely love how you explain things! Your instructions are always so clear and easy to follow. Thank you so much!
LOVE this!! Thank you- ordering that laminate for sure!!
This was so helpful . Thank you so much. I haven't played with my cricut in a year and I have forgotten alot. I actually have this design. Thank you so much.
The video was helpful! I'm going to try using holo laminate and was worried about it interfering with the cricut, the way you went about it made a lot of sense and is pretty simple.
Thank you very much! Today I tried printing on normal white vinyl and tried too in the same holographic you got and the holographic printing got quite wrong, now I know that I must print on white and then place the holographic on top!!! Great idea!
I love that you showed to duplicate some and make them smaller in order to fill up some space.
I might get a cricut for Christmas and want to learn as much as I can. Tfs
Good luck
Those are cute!
Great tutorial!!
Thanks for sharing how you do this. I may try to make some stickers.
Love these
For the empty space i think it would be a good idea to add little shapes to help use it up :)
Oooh I didn’t know there was a holographic you could lay on top. I thought you’d have to print on holographic sticker paper itself
Love these stickers. Can you make any cut setting suggestions for the Maker if i want to cut individual stickers, all the way through the backing? I’m struggling with the settings that will cut through all the layers.
Every material and every machine is different so what works for one person may not work for another. A good setting to start with is medium cardstock
Cute images
Looks great.... can you personalise the stickers when doing print and cut... as I'd like to make Christmas Gift labels
Absolutely. You can add text and just be sure to flatten it. I have a ton of great print then cut videos as well to help you create the tags of your dreams
I’m excited to try these ❤️
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I did watch your hack for cutting larger images on cricut. I love card making and have stamps i would love to make stickers out of. Is there a way to get a stamped image into cricut to print and cut?
You could stamp the image and take a clear photo of it and then load it into design space
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you for responding. Im not tech saavy so do you have a video out there to assist with turning a stamped image into a sticker where it cuts around the image- term fussy cut 🤭
@@jacquelynsmith5255 no I don’t. I never got into stamping
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you again. I will continue to follow you.
Those are adorable. I have a quick question. I have Holographic waterproof vinyl. Can i print and cut right on that?
If it is a printable product. It has to be made to be printed on. Not all vinyl can be used with a regular inkjet printer
@@CorinneBlackstone I have a photo printer and they came out ok. Hopefully they last. I will keep these for me :)
what setting did you use for your cricut on these for sticker sheets and not die cuts.
14:40 I discuss cut settings I used light cardstock for these
I love these! At the end, you peeled the two apart. Will the holographic sheet come off the image easily? Also, if one wanted to make those into individual stickers with the backing left on, would you just maybe use a cardstock pressure/cut to cut through everything? TIA, I'm going to order the stuff now to make some!
Use a higher pressure to cut through the stickers and no the holographic won’t peel off
Thanks so much for this, Corinne! Quick question - if I wanted individual stickers (instead of a sticker sheet), what would I need to do to have Cricut cut all the way through? Not sure if I'm making sense. :)
Use a heavier cut setting
@@CorinneBlackstone Thank you for taking the time to answer. :)
Do you have a video on how to organize yourself when you download a large bundle? I just purchased my fist bundle from Etsy it has over 400 images in different folders it looked scary when I opened the folders, not sure if people just click on every single image one by one to see what you got in the bundle.
This is how I organize my files. czcams.com/video/GPpkAuYrAVE/video.html
You can use punch shapes like ❤️ or ✨️🎀. This way you are not waisting much paper
You can buy a laminate with a cold setting and it works so good !
Yes that’s another option for sure.
What setting do I need to use if I want the stickers to cut all the way through after I laminate them? I also use StarCraft vinyl and laminate and it's so thick..
With this laminate I used medium cardstock cut twice but with others I have to use heavy cardstock and cut twice.
How would you make them like die cut put? For individual stickers?
Use a high cut setting with more pressure
Sorry if I missed it, are these water resistant? I have a cup that I add stickers to three outside of :) i do not use epoxy. For personal use lol
Yes these are
so cute .. does your printer need to be wireless/bluetooth
Nope as long as it’s connected to the device you want to use design space with it doesn’t matter how it’s connected
Hello, I would like to know if you calibrate your inkjet printer to make stickers. Can I still use my printer to print other regular things like Homework paper, regular photos make copies regularly and scan paper regularly?
Yes you don’t really calibrate the printer you just change settings. Inkjet printers are super easy to change settings on so for homework just use standard print settings
omg you have a talent... ive tried this exact method so many times and the amount of stickers I waste is painful lol
I just purchased both the printable vinyl and the holographic laminate- I want to know is there a vinyl that you can print on using your Cricut Pens?? Corinne I always learn and gleam useful crafting tips- Thank you!
Some sticker paper will work. I’ve used Avery and it works fine
@@CorinneBlackstone Thank you. Once I print on the sticker paper then can I use the laminate over it? I'm trying to make labels for my homemade jam jars and would like them to be washable.
@@flossingdebi yes you can laminate over them
How do you get your cricut to cut shiny material. Is there a certain setting. Mines won’t cut shiny material. It says it can’t read it. I have to use matte paper for my stickers all the time 😩🥴🤷🏽♀️
I don’t put anything shiny I’ve the registration lines. But I’ve never had a problem with glossy paper. You can try turning the lights off in the room when scanning the linsb
I followed your instructions and purchased the same holographic laminate from Amazon. My maker absolutely cut the images in the wrong spot, ugh. I left the registration lines uncovered but it still didn’t cut the images in the right spot. Suggestions?
Calibrate your machine
Do you have to do the offset to cut around the image
You don’t have to
does the laminant work for waterproofing them??
Yes it does
Hi there. So I bought the holographic laminate and it is so hard for me. I messed up a few batches of stickers. Is there a hack or easier way to apply? It’s so beautiful and I really want to make more.
You have to practice. It took me a few mess ups but the way I do it on the video is the way I think is easiest
@@CorinneBlackstone okay thank you!! I’ll keep trying. 🥰 Thanks for your channel! I’ve learned a lot from you!
Connie I know you use sillouette can you tell me hout to make a circle of 7.5 that I can save once I get it made it won't save so I don't know what I am doing
I'm honestly not sure how to help you here. If you have the basic edition I don't think you can save as anything but a silhouette file. You should just be able to use the circle shape in silhouette studio then change the measurements at the top to the size you want then click file save
Could I use this method to protect my magnets for using outdoors?
The issue with outdoor use is that the ink is not uv safe so the uv rays of the sun fade the ink.
Do you know how I could protect a magnet to be placed on my classroom door outside? Thanks for answering 🙏🏾
@@cathystewart3493 like mentioned above ink. You have to use a uv safe ink which are not something you can get for a standard home printer. I would suggest looking into having the design printed by a company that does outdoor stickers and then cut the magnets and apply the stickers
Is this stickers only? I do waterslides and cut them out myself.
You can cut water slides on the cricut. Obviously you really can’t use the laminate on them as it won’t allow them to get wet they need to but cricut works great with cutting them
What printer would work with these? i noticed the link in the description doesn't work
Inkjet printer is what you need
hi there a way to isolate the holographic rather than it go all over the print?
Do you mean to like only put it over the sticker or a part of the sticker? You could potentially cut it it out and then place it just on the sticker but that’s an extra step and you would have to line them up yourself
Can you resell images bought in Design Bundle ?
You can resell physical products made with things from their website but you cannot sell digital versions of items
Details on the mat you used?
I used this mat amzn.to/3KeaZR6
Can someone please tell me what the best clear waterproof stickers to use are?!! I need help!
I have used TONS of clear sticker paper and none is waterproof. I use neato labels and then cover them with a clear sealant spray bit.ly/3I8H3Wv They are 50% Off today with code JUNE50
Dear Corinne for some reason my cricut just won’t cut the offset I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It will only cut around the registration marks.
Sounds like you either have a large square behind your designs that you flattened them to or you may have not removed the background from your images. It helps to show pictures of your layers panel. If you are on Facebook join Facebook.com/groups/corinneblackstone and post some shots with the layers panel
Has the print and cut area changed from 6.75 x 9.5???
No. It’s still just 6.75x9.25
i found astro designs sticker paper.. will this work?
I don’t see why not. I have never used that brand so I can’t be sure
Thanks for the tutorial but why not drag and drop into DS? That is what I do when I have a bunch of images to upload.
I did drag and drop
How do you drag a d drop in Design Space?
@@kathiestapleton4151 as shown in the video you open design space, open your folder. Go to upload in ds then click upload image and on the screen that says browse you drag the image from the folder to the design space window
@@CorinneBlackstone I watch your tutorial again. Thank you.
I watched your tutorial again and see how to drag and drop now. Thank you.
I got some of the actual cricut sticker paper but my printer won’t pull it all the way through. Any tips?
Throw it in the trash. For real the cricut sticker paper is so thick and it is actually known to break printers.
@@CorinneBlackstone ok! I’ll add the paper you used!
Do you sell these then? How if you do? Thank you
I don’t but you could absolutely sell them. You can sell as a full sheet of stickers or you could use a heavier setting and make them die cut stickers
For some reason it’s not reading the lines to cut. Any ideas? I have basically all the lights off
Sometimes it’s actually better to have lights on. Make sure your laminate isn’t covering the registration lines and be sure your lines are dark
ok i must have missed something so how are they going to stick to anything if there is not enoughsyicky space around them to sticky
They are stickers. The entire back of the sheet I printed on is sticky
@@CorinneBlackstone oh ty. Where do I find some at?
@@metoo4444 everything I used is linked in the video description
I cut mine on heavy card stock
Does this make it waterproof ?
Yes
Oh, that's why it didn't work for me. I printed straight onto the holographic paper. Thank you. 😊
i wish i watched your tutorial before i wasted 20 holographic films along with sticker sheets T_T!
What is the link for the stickers please?
Here is the link for the cupcake design designbundles.net/mbukimbuki/1631036-christmas-cupcakes-printable-stickers-for-cricut?ref=ddMZ1K
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you
Cricut needs to make print and cut larger
Im having the hardest time applying the holographic laminate 🙃 I got lots of bubbles
It takes practice for sure. Go slow and use a squeegee
Over🎁 😛💣💚
I clicked on the link for the printer, but it says product not available
We're sorry! This page is currently unavailable.
They no longer make that printer this is the newer version of it go.magik.ly/ml/1qwxb/
How can I turn off off set
You just delete the offset you created.
I am really really new to cricut
Do iupload the picture again or putthem back in the program and nodo offset
Maybe you can do a video on it
This concept may be a little advanced for you still. I have tons of videos where I show how to use the offset feature. If you don’t want an offset don’t make one in design space. If your design already has an offset you can remove it when you upload the designs
