Tim and Christy, who would think we could have that much fun doing this project? “Many hands lighten the load” and double the enjoyment of a project well done. Plus, figuring out a “better” way of doing something together is always rewarding. My sincere thanks for all the kind and complimentary comments! They are quite humbling. Blessings to Tim, Christy and the viewers!
Ken, you are one of my new favorite cast members of the channel haha!
@@Zanderthelab Thank you, and I appreciate the kind words. It’s a lot of fun!
@@Kcolby47 you’re welcome! I miss having projects like that to do with my dad. He and I have fixed everything and there is nothing left to fix. I miss having stuff to work on and fix.
Ken sounds like one of those people who can walk into a local cafe/diner and everyone will yell at the same time “Hey Ken” at the same time. Need more like him in the world.
Thanks! Trouble is, I don’t know when to quit talking to them...(according to my family😉)
You got it! Sometimes he carries on conversations with people. We go to leave an I say; "who was that dad?". Dad responds; "I'm not sure, seems I should know them from somewhere". Need to get him to give Tim his customary Back Slap. That's as important for dad as a handshake 😂
Hey Chad! I’ve had the backslap! Love it! You have a wonderful father!!!
First I would like to thank Ken for his service! Tim, I think you need to have Ken on more when doing these kind of videos. You two make a good team.
Thank you and I was honored to have served, and humbled by the support. It is a real pleasure working (if you can call it that) with Tim and Christy!
Kent is a blessing, no need to make difficult situations worse by cursing and carrying on like a jackass the way I sometimes do when I become perplexed. Kent is my new hero. Thanks for your service Kent.
Thank you, and I appreciate you kind words. I’ve been very blessed, and it was an honor to.serve.
Ken cracks me up! You need to have him on more often. Lol
He has such a great energy.
Thanks much, it is a blast!
Having a guest on the show makes it so much fun!
You can have Kent on any time. He is a pure pleasure.
He looks like he would be alot of fun just watching paint dry .
great sense of humor .
LOL! You could be right😉. Thanks
You couldn’t find a better helped than Kenton. He is always a joy to see on your videos.
Thanks, very kind of you.
"I'll grunt and you just do it" is the perfect expression of masculine cooperation It specifies tasks, relives pressure, focuses action and delineates responsibility
ity.
Wish 'I' could give this comment a heart. Lol
Kenton: First, we should show people how muddy the tractor gets without these.
Tim: Or we could not
Very nice grandpa. 😊
Thank you Wyatt. ❤️
Hi Tim, I just put a piece of aluminum behind the fender while drilling so I didn't have to remove the tank. It worked great!!
Great video of two guys enjoying life and getting work done.
Thank you for your service Kenton
Thanks, it was a privilege to serve.
I enjoy the episodes with Kenton. He is such a positive person!
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Cool Video..& Tell Kenton Thanks For His Service From The Riddell Family !
My thanks to the Riddell family for the kind words. I’m glad I was able to serve, and for the support of many folks.
Great video just a couple of chaps making it as they go along, reminds me of every project. If all goes wrong read the instructions but we will never get to that point. Enjoyable time had by all!
Nice video tim and kristie and looks really nice on the Johnny and that funny men is great to work with 👍👍😅
Kenton had great idea with the soap stone. I use lipstick 💄 it works great but don't get caught with it.... 💋
It works great on door catches when installing and also marking upper and lower catch pins on double doors...
I like the lipstick idea!
Bright RED works best...lol...
Fender flares for a tractor - what a genius idea!
Such a pleasure to watch and listen to the two of you. Good project.
Nice video. Since adding the cab I’ve been thinking of doing this to help keep it cleaner as I also have the wheel spacers.
Good demonstration and still lighthearted content
I've found no matter what I "think" a project is always much more challenging than I first thought and it takes much, much longer.
Kenton is a hoot! Just a happy-go-lucky guy!
Thanks!
The world would be a better place if we had more Kentons
Yep! We call Kenton when we need some encouragement!
Wow, that’s flattering, but I don’t think the world needs another me...I’m just blessed to be here!
Thank you Ken for your service.
Thanks for your support of the troops.
I look at these and think of not getting dirty while doing certain jobs. Might be willing to say these are essential for anyone getting a 2032/2038 on up.
Thank you to Kenton for his service.
Thanks, an honor to serve.
Was a fun episode watching you two Josh’n back n forth. Good job on the fender flares. 👍
Grace and peace to all
Thank you for your service , Kenton .
Thank you!
Wow GREAT morning 🌄 with Tim & Ken ya'll had your hands full with the side with gas tank? boy it didn't take long ya'll got her done? GREAT Ken your funny man alot of fun you and Tim work together and fun watch SO nice see friends help each other? Stay Safe ❤🤟
Thanks for the kind comment. it really is a pleasure to work with Tim and Christy. They are great folks!
I love your helper. I have the same 2038 tractor and didn’t know they made wheel spacers. Very handy on a slope.
I chuckle every time I hear Tim pronounce 2x6 as "tubasix".
Heyhey Tim I have to say Kenton is a joy to watch and listen to. I relly enjoyed seeing him on here with you . You are blessed to have a friend like him and he a friend like you. Take care
Nice fender flares! Years ago while towing my boat on the highway a Jeep passed me with too wide tires and he kicked up a rock which smashed my windshield, grazed my cheek and smashed out thru the back window! Luckily I kept control and another driver saw what happened and got the Reg # of the Jeep. The State pole tracked him down and was cited for improper equipment and leaving the scene. His insurance company paid all my costs. If he had fender flares it never would have happened. Best Regards, Jay
You need Kenton more often. He’s a hoot
Kenton, what a great guy.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Many 4 wheelers add wider fenders since most larger tires require spacers when you lift the vehicle. I added 1" spacers to my Jeep when I lifted it 3" but the total increase in size due to the change in tires is about 5". Good way to keep the mud off your sleeves.
And then you can close pin on cards to extend the edge if needed ! Have a fun time guys - looks like it.
Looks like you guys having lot fun.thank you for sharing and have wonderful weekend.
Great work Tim & Kenton installing the extensions! A very good addition for the 2038R!
Good Morning Tractor Time with Tim. Thank you Kenton for your service.
Thank you, my honor.
The fender guards look great! Good job on the install. Best wishes
You 2 guys are having far too much fun. Enjoyed watching a lot.
I’m glad I had these installed at the initial purchase of my 2038.
Ken he is great super funny 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊
WOW! Thanks a bunch!!
Good video. You guys work great together.
Pretty sure Kenton could get along with ANYONE!
Tim and Christy are great folks to work with!
That was a fun TTWT episode!
Tim an Ken Tractor Time Repair Shoppe nice job guys Hi Christi have a day love from TEXAS
Never work with kids, animals, or Kenton, you'll always get upstaged! Today it was two, Martha and Kenton. LoL
Yep! Oh well. I know my place :-)
Good video y’all Tim has an assistant producer let get out and tear up the yard Lol
Andrew Camarata would have helped you with his chainsaw, a skidsteer and self tapping screws! Good video Tim!
These tractors are made so cheap, let Me reinforce it for You Tim, Some plastic welding should help, what the hells that smoke?
Wonderful man! Thank you for your service
Thanks much. Honored to have served.
Liked the bloopers😂😂😂😂 great video and do like the fenders makes it look like a 8100 style fenders. Just need the turn signals lol..
Nice add on Tim. I always like that a lot of the European tractors have fenders over the front tires. Look great IMHO on FWA tractors. Don't see a lot of that in the USA.
Another Kenton fan here!!!
How kind, of you. Thanks!
My tractor wears its mud like a badge of courage!
Hey Tim, great video and I wanted to share an update: I’ve had a BX24 for 17 years and finally decided to upgrade/replace it. Your videos did so much to help me make that choice. My 2021 JD 2032 with FEL, mid mount mower and 270 backhoe will be delivered in a week. Thanks for your service to the community of tractor and implement users.
thats great Kenton served in Desert Storm ask him if he knows about the desert storm memorial being built in DC and the march we do memorial day in DC
Thank you. I know of the memorial, but was not aware of the march.
Great Job Tim & Christy & Kenton
On my "Johnny 4" with cab, I was able to use a puddy knife and slid it in between the fuel tank and fender to keep the drill bit from contacting the tank. There was also room to get the bolt in with nut facing outboard but just barely. Improves the look especially with wheel spacers. I have a video posted on my channel if you're interested
Great video you guys! I didn’t know that tractor was diesel!
Fenders look good Tim, the trim piece is called windlace. Thank you Kenton for your service and thank you Tim and Christy for the videos.
Kenton is perfect for tv. I didn’t know the tank was under the fender. Interesting location. Fender flares for a tractor go figure. Stay safe.
Thanks...it could be said “a face for radio” 😉
Thank for sharing this. I have a MY 2020. 2032R and the grab handle has loosen up at 100 hrs. You have to drop the tank to tighten the grab handle bolts. My dealer told me I have to diy or pay them. Said it was a big job. I'm going to pull this apart this weekend. Tnx.
Kenton, Thank you so much for your service. Tim, please have Kenton on more often, he reminds me of my grandfather
Thank you, and it was my honor to do so.
Great video thanks tim, I did front fenders a week ago on a 2025r came out really nice wish I could send you pictures I posted to 2025r group
A very good idea 👍👍
Love this episode. You need him on more episodes.
I was surprised, it looks from the sides that it doesnt cover the tires very well, but when you filmed it from the backside, it shows its as close as it might get, nice!
Oh, one question, do you plan to try to put front fenders on as well to avoid slinging the mud around, maybe there arent any for these tractors and with the loader on it might not fit?
And Ken has a very goodhearted laughter that I like and as positive spirit as you guys, its always nice to watch!
Thanks for the kind words!
Nice drill bit conversion formula..Good touch to the 2038. Looks great
Looks good I wouldn’t put those on a metal fender tractor because of potential rust issues at the fasteners but definitely a good idea for anything with plastic or rust proof fenders
This appears to be the first episode of TRACTOR TIME WITH TRIM!
Oh no. The first one is titled #1 …
You can go to our channel, select videos, then sort by date to get them in order.
There are a few older videos showing Katriel playing piano, etc before #1
Good job. Im blown plumb outtuh the water by the price though!!! $295.90??? HOLY MOLY!!! Thanks for sharing. God bless!
💥 Those look very nice. I can see how they could help prevent wet dew from flinging up for those who mow with their tractors.
*Keep on tractoring!* 😁
For as much fun as Kenton has, he should be paying you.
Looks really nice. I think it is a functional modification. Take care and have a great weekend, Jason
I put a set on my 4720 way back in 2005 and they are holding up great
Haha you guys act like my partner and I at work nothing but laughing while we work
We have the front turntable fenders on our 2038 might just add the rear extension.
Installed them on my 3 series
Great video as always Tim.
I had been wondering how that was going to work with that fuel tank there inside the fender.
Getting ready to put spacers on my 2025R. Good know there is a way to add extensions should I need them.
That seems like a lot of work just to install some mud guards, but Ken makes it fun to do, so I guess it was work the effort.
You'd better watch Kenton, he could have his own channel. You guys are great together.
Could ya slide a piece of metal between the fender and the tank? Maybe with a sledgehammer if needed? lol
He is funny! He is always upbeat and jovial. What a joy to be around!
Love that guy
Thanks much. I appreciate your kind words.
I like those fender extensions. Kinda makes me wish I had a bigger tractor than my 1025R so I can add them lol. Good job Gents
There probably is a removal tool for those stud bolt things so they won't break and you might even be able to reuse them.
9mm is closer to an 11/32. 7mm is closer to 1/4. We need to do these conversions more than I like to admit here in Canada
Have them on mine. They work great.
My cousin served in desert storm. He was an Army Ranger, I believe he might’ve been a Paratrooper as well. Don’t quote me on that though.
I think there are also front tire mud guards you may want to look into Tim
Noticed the furnace in the background, could you do a video on heating your barn. What you decided to go with does it also have ac?
Yes, A/C. Check out our Pole Barn Rehab playlist. Pretty sure we have an episode showing the ductwork.
But no overall description of the system.
I should probably summarize at some point.
I did see the air duct video. Would be interested in a overview of the system. How much fuel it uses and power usage? How fast does it recover after opening the large garage door? How loud is it?. Thanks for your great videos.
6mm in fraction is 15/64
A simple 20 minute job on one side and hours on the other lowering the tank ...that is my experience too...we joke that this is a '5 minute job' not expecting it will take 3 hours once we start with a wrench
Thee Door Edge Guard, that you added at the end, was it included or did you add it to cover a thin edge? This was a great project to add the fender flares to the 2038. It really looks great. Kenton working on the fender flares seams a little out of his league after reconstructing tanks.
edge guard included. I think it will come off soon. ...in fact first project part of it came loose. I had to stick it back up there.
Wish they was in stock
Hmm...not available?
Very informative video. I think front fender options would be neat for sub and compact tractors. I haven't seen any. I wonder what the pros and cons would be?
For Securing the Bottom of the Fender Try using some 3M RTV Silicone to attach the plastic to plastic
I used it to attach PVC pipes to each other in My work van to hold Long Drill bits and those warning flags you see Road crews marking buried utilities
I even used it to attach things to the dash board for holding an assortment of things I used a lot
It was almost impossible to just pull those things free
I also used it to reattach the loose wind deflectors on My Truck doors
It is really strong and can be removed later if You really want to without damaging the paint surface
Heck, You might even be able to use the Silicone by itself without using the bolts
You might try a test by attaching something to the FEL side frames and then in a week try to pull it off as a test
