      Hello Dr. Salehi , Thank you for getting in touch with us. To begin you have to apply to be accepted into the Canadian Dentistry Equivalency Process. As long as you have a recognized dental degree you should be accepted. The first exam is AFK (Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge). After you pass this exam you have two options: continue the equivalency process and take ACJ (Assessment of Clinical Judgment exam) and ACS (Assessment of Clinical Skills exam) or if you got a high score on AFK you can apply to a Canadian University and do a two-year bridging program.
      At the end of both routes (Equivalency or University) you will need to take the board exams to get your licence and start practicing. At Prep Doctors we have courses and support at every stage of the process. See our website for more details about our courses: www.prepdoctors.ca
      For registration and specific details about the exams, visit the NDEB website. ndeb-bned.ca/en/requirements

      Hi Dr. Bhavika,
      We don't recommend any materials only because there is too much information. Our instructors and researchers have spent years building our course material with the key points from all source material so that it is easier to grasp. If you have any questions about our courses and the material that comes with them, please feel free to reach out to us on our Facebook page or through feedback@prepdoctors.ca!

      Hello Dr. Chauhan, Although it is easier to qualify as a dental hygienist, it takes longer than the equivalency process, and the outcomes are less desirable for your career progression. If you are interested in the equivalency process or want more information about our courses, please visit our website. www.prepdoctors.ca

    Hello , if I'm a BDS graduate from India. Then if I want to pursue a master's degree in Canada, do I still have to give NBED EXAM? please help

    • @PrepDoctors
      @PrepDoctors  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi, Doctor!
      It depends on what master's degree you would like to pursue. If it is a dental specialty, many Canadian universities require a four-year Canadian undergraduate degree (either a Doctor of Medicine Degree or a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree) to be eligible for a post-graduate program.

    hello, i'm an undergraduate student in Egypt and I would like to apply some day soon for the international dental program in Canada, is there anything I should do before the NDEB or does license solely depend on NDEB?

    • @PrepDoctors
      @PrepDoctors  Před 6 lety +1

      You can achieve your license to practice dentistry in Canada after you successfully complete the whole NDEB process. Currently, as you are still an undergraduate student, we recommend first completing your graduation and then applying to start the NDEB process whenever you're ready for it. All the best!

    • @PrepDoctors
      @PrepDoctors  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Dr. Blessy,
      There is a mutual accreditation agreement between New Zealand and Canada, so you should just be able to do the board exams. See www.rcdso.org/en-ca/rcdso-applicants/international-applicants for more information.
      Also feel free to reach out to us on our Facebook page or at feedback@prepdoctors.ca if you have any further questions.
