As others have said UK baked beans taste totally different to US Beans. Ours are much more tomato-ey. Plus our bread doesn't contain the same amount of sugar as US bread, so it is much more savoury and a great combo with our beans (I always add a dash of Worcestershire Sauce and black pepper) so I totally get why you'd prefer 'jelly' on your toast. With proper black tea (not green or fruit based ones) you need to remove the tea bag once the tea has brewed to your liking as leaving the bag in will just let it continue brewing until it becomes bitter and not nice to drink. Tea making is an art we learn early in our lives and everyone likes their tea differently so it's a big life lesson to make your parents/siblings a cup of tea each with their own preference for strength, colour/amount of milk and sugar 🤣

The first thing to understand with beans on toast is that Heinz baked beans in the US taste different to the ones in the UK. Also it's how you prepare it. Spread plenty of butter on the toast. Then you can either just pour the hot beans on or melt cheese into the beans first or even add curry powder to the mix, although if you do the latter of the two I suggest not getting too close to others once it starts digesting. It's a good breakfast because it's packed with protein and sets you up for the day.

The Public school thing wasn't fully explained. In medieval times there where only two ways to get educated; a private tutor for the rich or a church school. The fairly well off got together and set up boarding schools so dozens of boys could be taught at once by a number of specialist teachers. Still expensive but technically "public" if you could afford them. The became and remain training grounds for the elite. "Public school boy" is synonymous with arrogant, over-privileged and obnoxious.

Real cheddar though, not of that plasic stuff you guys use. Try some nice Wisconsin. I promise you will love it

Great Britain = one island divided in three countries. England, Scotland and Wales.
United Kingdom = it unites Northern Ireland, which is in a separate island, to the Great Britain island. That's why it's called United Kingdom; it united two separate pieces of land under the same kingdom.
Note: the island where Northern Ireland is is divided in two countries, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. The Northern Ireland side belongs to the UK like I mentioned above. But the Republic of Ireland side is not part of the UK, it's part of the EU instead. Northern Ireland uses the pound like the rest of the Uk. But the Republic of Ireland uses Euro like the EU. The UK also used to be a part of the EU before Brexit but it kept using pounds.

here is the situation with metric it was invented by the French in 1795 ,imperial was invented around 60 years later so in logic terms imperial is new to the metric and as imperial is a british invention i prefer imperial ,but i do also use metric ,the narrator of the video he is being biased as he wants to stick with metric as he say it less confusing so why can i use both without a problem
but prefer imperial ,in other words some are not use to the conversion where i am so two fingers to the guy.

A place name that's always mist out. .
When you here people saying "there s no fur kin point"
We there is its on the west shore of Loch lomond.
Accents can vary from village to vallagw Town to town. Especialy notable In the ridings of Yorkshire.
Tea. Most commonly brought. Tyohoo.. Pg tips. YORKSHIRE tea.
Measurements we are clever enough to use both.. Not just have to be able to count in tens.
Beans are brilliant American bread is shite.. Silly Isles not seely.

in the UK if you say Jelly....we think of Jello...because we call what you call Jelly , jam. Until you have tried hot, buttered toast with Heinz baked beans on top...you really can not make a call on it.I have been to the US and I have to say your weird 'biscuits and gravy ' is just as odd....biscuits which to me are just plsin scones and a weird white sauce called gravy with white and odd tasting sausages....hmmm. in the case of Tea, you take the bag out to stop it from stewing...it becomes quite unpleasant and bitter if left in.

The UK Office is only 1 season. The network didn't want to renew it even though it was a big hit in the UK and Ricky Gervais got an offer from a US network to do a US version. The UK one is British humour so I like it better but the US one had a lot more character development and time on air to fall in love with the characters etc so a lot of people say it's better. If the UK one went on longer it would have been better imo but it wasn't given the chance.

It ran for 2 seasons and 2 Christmas specials, after which Ricky Gervais didn't want to write any more. It was written by Gervais and Stephen Merchant rather than the team of 20+ writers in the US so it's hard work. The network is the BBC and it won best new comedy in 2001, a year later best comedy, best comedy actor and a Golden Globe in 2004, it wasn't cancelled.

I'm actually offended by how you reacted to a place name in y country, that long Welsh name is the longest place name in Britain, but that's how it's pronounced in my country of Wales in my language, in English it means, Saint Mary's church in the hollow of the White hazel near the rapid whirlpool of Llandysillio of the redd cave. May sound odd to a non Welsh person, but it's a beautiful language if you listened to it being spoken. Plus our flag has a Dragon on it as you can see by my emoji. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. Actually I hate baked beans, but to put bacon with jam as we call it, is disgusting.🤮
