    Well said.
    When I feel like quitting after my first set or two, I ask myself, "What am I rushing home to that's more important to my health and fitness goals?"
    When I feel like skipping a gym day for no good reason, I ask myself that same question.
    After many years of lifting sporadically and without truly properly managing my calories and sleep and recovery and overall nutrition, I now feel as though I have everything locked in, and the results reflect this.
    Discipline, consistency, accountability.
    And most important, eating enough food. (Or cutting enough calories, if trying to lose weight.) For years, I would complain to the world, "I just cannot seem to gain weight." The obvious solution was to eat more food. I seem to be facing that situation again; my weight has stagnated - I'm actually possibly losing weight while trying to bulk - which means... I need to eat more food.

      Fellow skinny guy problems! It takes a long time to finally realize you need to get your shit together and do the hard things. It’s part of why I’ve packed on 30-40lbs and not seen a massive spike in body fat %.
      3 main pillars of lifting: training, nutrition, sleep/stress.
      If any one of those is off, you will have average-below average results. When all 3 are in place for months or years, the impossible becomes achievable.

      I’m not a true insomniac, but if I have any reason to be awake I will be awake.
      The light that comes from a digital clock can mess up my sleep quality

      @@JSStrength yeah, I use flux on devices and light my whole apartment with red Himalayan salt lamps. Every evening it looks like my fiancée and I are trying to summon a demon

      From experience, the sizing should be fixed in your editing software by changing the aspect ratio. Hope that helps

      99% of people do. I did for years. The key is having the discipline to stop slacking off, and do what needs to be done.
      Then again, if you’re happy with how you are, then you don’t need to do anything.
      “If you’re as happy peeling potatoes as you are deadlifting 900lbs, you’re going to be peeling potatoes. Not deadlifting 900 fucking pounds”
