  • Originally built as a clothing mill and home to Rome Manufacturing Co., this unique property has been painstakingly converted to a modern 38,000 square-foot commercial building with an executive/owner suite occupying the top floor as a private residence. Ownership of the building provides access to an on-site private tailor, hair salon, yoga & pilates studio, as well as a law firm. The lower two floors are currently leased and provide an annual income of approximately $160,000.
The southern charm imbued by the original structure is evident in every detail of this magnificent property, from the original hardwood floors to the soaring ceilings high above. Offered for sale for the first time since completion, the masterfully re-envisioned, 6,000 square-foot loft was designed for those who value the aesthetic synergy of the unabashedly industrial and the authentically historic.

I lived the first 41 years of my life in or around Rome/Floyd County. I finally got out in 2013 and I haven’t looked back.
I will agree that this is a magnificent property and it is definitely a great location in Rome. However, I wouldn’t really consider Rome to be that great of a city. The potential certainly exists (and no doubt it has been great in the past), but the city is no where near progressive enough to reach its full potential and it likely never will be.
