Willie "went large", as he and Waylon called it, in the '70s and his version of this song in 1982 did, too. It won the Country Music Association song of the year and single of the year & Grammys for Best Male Country Vocal Performance, Best Country Song & Song Of The Year. Big success can bring big problems and it was around this time that Willie was beginning what turned out to be a huge tax problem down the road. Safe to say that when Willie was "On The Road Again", it was an interesting journey.
Love this song. "Angel Flying too Close to the Ground, "Georgia on My Mind", "Moonlight in Vermount", "Unchained Melody". I think you guys would enjoy these songs sung by Willie Nelson.
I just happened on this video and realized that the pleasure that the reactors (Enoma) displayed was exactly how I feel every time that I hear Willie sing. For me, it was instant subscribe. Thank you.
This song reminds me of Amanda, by Waylon Jennings, another old school country singer. They both have the same simplicity and straightforwardness approaching the regret of imperfect but deep love.
I know I'm going to get some backlash for this.. But it's all in the spirit of love for music... Obviously the lyrics are great... But 10 years prior to Willie singing this song, Elvis Presley did it... And I like his version better..... If you haven't listened to it yet ..give it a listen. I'd love to hear your reaction.
So simple but nothing else needs to be said, that is Willie Nelson's style, an amazing song from an American icon. Great reaction 🤠
“ Love cannot endure indifference. It needs to be wanted.“ Wow, when I read that I got chills. 👏💕
Just a great performance and a great song 👏👏
LOVE Willie Nelson. My favorite of his is "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain", but I love many of his songs
There is nothing to add to this Willie Nelson masterpiece 👏👏👏
thats the exact reaction i have every time i hear this song, powerful.
Clearly one of the best love songs of all time. Knowing about Willie’s past problems with drinking leaves no doubt how real the raw emotion is to him.

Maybe one of the best love songs ever written.

One of my favorite songs. We have to show love, not just feel it.
This reaction is so good. Thank you so much for sharing.

Great review, would love to see you react to his song "blue eyes crying in the rain"
Unchained melody by the Rightousbrothers Osgood as well.
Great version of this song by Willie, although I prefer Elvis myself. Willie has some special moments in this song that others dont though
No chance is Elvis version is better this feels way more real who’s breaking elvis heart 😂
Please react to John Denver's "Sunshine On My Shoulder".....this song will definitely touch your heart....
"The greatest man I never knew" by Reba McEntire.
Give credit to Wayne Carson, Mark James and and Johnny Christopher for writing a song that is virtually impossible for a decent singer to screw up
Masterpiece! Wow! I suggest you Much Too Soon by Michael Jackson.
Elvis is the original. This is the greatest version of the song… there’s like a dozen versions since Elvis sang it, but this is the greatest
That's a WARRIOS SONG GOING TO COMBAT YOU

He’s alright but Waylon was awesome imo.
Love Elvis but this is the best version

Elvis Presley sang it better.
